Just experienced this. I was clicking on random spots and it let me put down six instead of 5:

I went to send my lionesses on a hunt, and it let me choose 6 spots on accident instead of 5? But the game realized it's mistake without realizing it and didn't let me send my 5 lionesses out that I chose (didn't match the 6 spots).

Also didn't let me send out 6 lions (I tested it, just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind).

So it isn't a major bug since it does catch itself in other ways to prevent being taken advantage of but still a bug..

Was sent here from Modbox, as I’ve also gotten the 6 lionesses going to hunt twice as of now. I’m not too sure on how to post my images, but I’ve gotten the results of the first one and the board image with six silhouettes.

I’m on mobile and originally thought it was because of bad connection, similar to when you click multiple times on a frozen computer.

I experience this bug regularly - nearly daily - on both hunting and patrolling. I often place 6 hunters (I assume I am clicking to fast). A few times I have placed 7 or 8.

When patrolling, I have placed 11 or 12, which it does not let me send, but from not noticing that it had happened, I have lost a few hours of patrolling on days when I was otherwise occupied. One day, I lost 8 hours from not realizing that I had placed 12 squares and it wouldn't let me send my submale out to patrol.

This is very frustrating to me, as I focus on stats. If I am sending out a hunt or patrol while busy, I might not notice it did not go and lose out on hours of stat gain.

This bug happened today. I'm not sure how to attach a screenshot here, but of the many lionesses on the hunt, only one had 9 hunts, while the others either had few, or vice versa, all 10.

Happened to me today, didn't get any screenshots as it is late here.

I simply clicked around on the spots I wanted, and clicked on a sixth spot before they had loaded in because I was being impatient for them to load in (since it can take a second sometimes) . and then suddenly, 6 were highlighted, and i was able to send six girls out.

Seems this is happening more often since the site lags so much because the server is unable to handle more then 3k players online at once.
