Yes, many people think that 700 is wayy too much, so it'd be better if it was 500 like a lot of players originally thought.

This suggestion has 528 supports and 39 NO supports.

Well.

I guess we can't really discuss anything here anymore.

"Rainhowl: That is absolutely not considered an offense worthy of a ban. As long as concerns and displeasures are expressed in a respectful way, and no one is bashing anyone else (regardless of if they are staff or a normal user), you are completely free to have discussions like that--whether you are staff or a normal user. We are open to opinions and want to hear all feedback when possible; all that we ask for is that it's done in a calm and reasonable manner."

Is the response I got in the news thread from Katze.

The fact that the admins have to clarify their rules just goes to show that they're written poorly. Even the ToS is pretty fucking general when it comes to guidelines, and the admins should be specific about their laws. I feel like the rules are general for a reason -- in fact I've been nailed for offending someone, and they tried to mod bully me about it, and it only happened because the rules were so general.

I know that the resolution may not be satisfactory for some, but I'm glad that they went and fixed things, and acknowledged their mistake. It would have been so easy for them to ignore us and not do a thing, that's what I was expecting them to do. But they made an effort to change things, and that's good enough for me. Kate also said that in the future, they'd let us know about changes like this, and if they do then I'll fully forgive them for this whole fiasco. It would show that they're willing to learn from their mistakes, which is something that many creators in this industry seem to be above doing.

With the new CoC, I don't think we are allowed to be talking about the rules in a thread suggestion made for buffy balls.

Honestly I don't care at this point, I think the lioden rules have made the game unbearable.. I'm just keeping this account up for item hoarding and RPs..

Laila, honestly, given that the events within the thread were directly tied to the new CoC I would imagine it's alright to discuss, since most of the question revolve around if we can say things like what we said in the thread. Now if someone came up in here straight up bashing every rule in the CoC, including ones that are not linked whatsoever, I would think different.

It did, and that is the really annoying part. Like we kinda deserve ONE warning :/

I mean for actively obvious/harmful things yeah. But it is tacked on something so vague that I'm actively nervous to even post this. That doesn't foster comfort and trust, and we're back to square one for a different reason IMHO. If people feel too uncomfortable and scared of being banned they still won't spend and some will still leave.

I'm going to try to avoid replying for the most part so don't take it personal if I don't reply. Probably not sure what to say or too anxious.
