Honestly guys, It'd be better to just ask to adjust the price change. It's actually very reasonable to change the price according to the number of players increasing. You also have to put in the fact that you may own a side account, which means you could possibly simply dedicate just one, or both, accounts to getting Buffalo Scrotums. Besides, if you're aiming to sell them for profit, then it's a plus because less buffalo scrotums means more demand and a slight raise in price.

I suggest asking the price to be changed to 600 or 650 rather than the sudden jump to 700.

But at the same time if the prices are higher you have to work 2x as hard... so side accounts probably will be less popular especially for people who don't use them often or like I said before only use them to get the smaller, cheaper items they need.

Price raises suck but they're one thing. Maybe isn't a for sure, it reads like a disclaimer and that's it.

Also with the right before the shop opens isn't good camp. Why not sooner if I may ask?

Many people seem to imply that unless you rarely log in, it's a given that even at the new price everyone can get one. But I've logged in at least 11, I think every day this month, and had a few DB from previous years. I explore several times daily. My grand total of DB is now 259. It feels very unlikely I will manage even one unless I can glue my ass to the chair for eighteen hours a day so I am likely going to simply call this month a wash and stop bothering to log in.

This is a recap of what I said: As I had stated from previous comments, we should not change the prices of buffalo balls at all. I will make this clear on why. The player base is yes, continously growing, but at the same time when your player base is continously growing, items will go into higher demand, aka buffalo ball, lion balls, etc. Now, if we kept the DB price the same, it would not be an issue because then there would be more players to use the buffalo balls, buy and sell. Either way they are still gonna be used. Now if you want to make the prices of them go higher, yes, changing them to 700 DB is good idea. That would be deflating the pricing. But it's not a good idea. It's really hard to even get 500 DB, and with the drop rates being the same it would raise the price of the buffalo balls. Now if you increased the drop rates, you would still be having the same thing happening, it's technically just an inflation, causing the currency to be worth less. It still would be the same as 500 DB to the drop rates we currently have but at the same time why? Just more time and coding that you don't need to put in.

But also not to mention how many people bank on this event, considering that people have been working hard all this month to gain the currency they need then last minute everything has been changed? It is not fair to your player base to change it so sudden. And also considering everything said before, Since people are auctioning off DB, it would make the DB they have worth less than before and people have been putting money on those auctions. They are banking on they win the auction and get the DB for a buffalo ball at 500 DB. I decided I was gonna do a 600 DB auction and I already have a 5 GB bidder on it, but now since the price has gone up for DB in buffalo balls, it's not even worth it to this person to buy the DB unless they wanted something else.

As a conclusion, all the way around it was a very unfair move of the staff to make the prices higher and not change anything else in this event or the events to come without a proper announcement or reasoning to this. Please take this all into consideration.

As I said before, and will possibly clarify. I believe the price was raised so they wouldn't be fairly easy to obtain. It's to keep the market stable. Imagine if everyone online was able to obtain a buffalo Scrotum, then there'd be 1,390 Buffalo Scrotums on the market. If you double it to account for if everyone had a side account and people averaged their Dry Bone collection at 500-1000 Bones, that'd be 2,780-5,560 Buffalo Scrotums. That doesn't even cover the people offline or who come on later in the day. The market would be flooded with no one buying them because they already have one. Then there are people who have collected enough Dry Bones to get five or six Buffalo Scrotums, maybe even Seven or Eight. It all comes down to opportunity, dedication and time. I agree that the change probably should have been sooner, but it's only the 12th, there's plenty of time to save up. There are 19 days and if you collect roughly 50-100 Dry Bones a day, you'd only need 2-4 Days to collect the 200 Dry Bones to stabilize the price again.
