What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.

So, what happened was I found a pack of Gelada and decided to attack them. I don’t have an image of that initial encounter. I was battling on autopilot when I realized I was a) not doing the correct amount of damage and b) taking a ton more damage than usual. When I finally read the battle prompts I realized that immediately after the start it changed from gelada to a bull elephant.

I used a lucky foot to finish the fight. This isn’t the first time I’ve suddenly fought something that wasn’t what I initially chose to fight in explore, but this is the first time the image and name didn’t match the creature I ultimately ended up fighting. I just remembered that before fighting the gelada, I did in fact fight a bull elephant, and used a lucky foot to win that fight as well after a couple of moves.

Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion?

Before this battle, I encountered the pile of elephant ooo and decided to fight the elephant, used a lucky foot after a few moves.
I encountered the gelada pack and initiated the fight. The opponent image, name, and initial fight message all indicated I was fighting the gelada pack. Once the attack exchanges began, however, every message from my attacks indicated I was fighting a thick skinned elephant, and all opponent attacks stated a Bull elephant made the attacks.

Heeey so this just happened again.

Unlike before, I did find a black mamba in explore but I chose not to fight it and just explored past it. The next battle encounter i had was with this lion. As before, the initial battle text says, "You have entered a battle with a Lion." The image on screen, the name, and the headshot are all of the lion I think I'm fighting. As soon as I attack, however, the battle messages I get are of a Black Mamba, and the opponent 'behaves' like black mamba.

I'm really not sure at all what is causing this glitch.

It doesn't sound like the glitch that others are describing in this thread though. I've had that issue where i go to fight an animal and suddenly it becomes a lioness, but when that happens the images and text match eachother and i know from the start I'm, for one reason or another, fighting a lioness. In the glitch I'm currently getting, I don't know until i throw the first punch.

went to charge at him...and he turned into a rather ticked off lioness...

A similar incident occured today with an Event encounter with a slither, it changed into a lioness. I battled it to see if the payout would be the same but it gave me regular lioness battle payout.
