Time of day: Weather: Sunny day, with some clouds Ranks Sukul|SunPride Guard|3 Year Old|Male Clouded Leopard||Open For Guarding Description of Territory SunPrids territory is a mountain. Climbing up a steep almost perpetual snow covered mountain, lays a big cave almost hidden from view behinde a gathering of large boulders. Once you come closer you notice a clearing before entering the cave, where cubs are trained to become full fledged members of the Pride. Description of Camp  Source: This is my own. For bigger picture go Here ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Events Prophecy: A great shadow will soon spread over the land, only one thing will be able to stop it. Bright Stars, born in the dark and cold, will defeat the darkness. Previous Snowstorm Prophecy: Only if the two stars are brought together, will the Sun and Moon be saved from eternal darkness. While one will lead with claw and fang, the other will lead with kindness and wisdom. Only when they are united, all will be saved. Death of an Apprentice Moed will go and meet with MoonPride Character SheetsNo thread generated. I've never killed caribou by myself before - I used to raid carcasses from wolf clans and that was pretty easy... the babies are easy enough to snatch too if you can get close enough to them without being spotted by the mothers..." he paused to catch his breath "I used to live the easy life, steal a bit, fight a bit and hide a lot in the trees" he began to reminisce over his days of solitude and smiled humbly at the recollection. He then huffed at the snow pile that Lilja had made over Jereth and began to flick away parts so that the small cat could move "You know what, I'd love to join in with you guys - I'm sure Sun wouldn't mind since there is another guard... I was a thief too! A good one too," she states proudly, puffing out her chest childishly. "I only got into a few bad situations, but I learned!" She purred and helped clear away more snow. What a surprise!" he exclaimed in shock "I've never came across any other thieves you know, people tend not to like the whole idea of it but you do what you've gotta do..." Umbra grinned at Lilja who kept blinking her eyes wildly at him "Fine - I'll come along... I'm just going to leave a note though so that Sun knows where I've gone..." Then Umbra jolted upwards and sprinted back towards the cave, covering Jereth once again under a pile of snow. He was only gone for a minute or two then returned to Lilja and Jereth "I've left a note - we won't be gone long right?" Umbra smiled broadly and began to slink off towards the edge of the camp "You two pussies coming or what?" he cackled loudly then hopped gracefully onto one of the boulders and lay there for a few moments before sliding off the other side. 0 players like this post! Maybe this exercise will be good for ya!" She hops nimbly from from each snow capped surface, following the jaguar easily. "I wonder how long it will take for him to reach us?" He pushed up trying to push threw the snow but it only seemed to pack it more making a shell around him. He dug and dug and after about 5 minutes he broke free of the cold shell, but now he was soaked to the skin because the snow had started to melt where his body heat radiated. "I am s-s-so g-goi-in to g at you b-b-ack-k" he said threw clattering teeth. Seeing the snow trails he jumped out of the mound he had been hurried under. He followed there track unroll he saw them. By the time he raised the 2 leopard he had balls of ice and snow hanging on to his pelt the melted snow acting like glue. Jereth shook hard as some of the larger prices flew off in all direction. Holding they hit the 2 jaugarers he was between. "That's what you g-g-et" he studded out as he shook. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She grinned and moved towards him, rubbing her cheek on the top of his head. "I'm sorry you're small," she said, her tone childish. "Maybe if you eat more you'll grow! Or are you too old for that?" She looked around, getting distracted by all the scents. "Where are we anyway? And where are we going?" She vaguely knew the territory, having only traveled endlessly with Inari to reach this place. "And what's the plan, anyway? Do we just... bite? Run and bite? Tackle?" She dragged on, making a face. She was starting to get anxious. Umbra|SunPride - Guard|1.5|Male - Melanistic Jaguar|Location - Camp|Mention(s) - Lilja & Jereth After watching Jereth catch up with the two of them and feeling rounded balls of ice hit his face, Umbra began to laugh "Man you're cute when you're angry" he then smiled humbly to Lilja and sniffed the air. "South..." Umbra muttered as he began to wander in that direction "There's a-lot of them... Caribou" he paused and smiled widely, then inhaled briskly through his flared nostrils and wiggled his ears "... wolves too... ". His once joyful expression became dark and solemn, "We must be careful guys, we have to stay hidden - for me that'll be easier in the shadows..." he turned to Jereth "I think you'd be best on the ground as you're small but then again the trees might be better - and as for you Lilja, you're perfect for this terrain and you'll blend in perfectly wherever you are" He nodded sheepishly and awaits approval from the others. 0 players like this post! Jereth|sunpride|2| male Jaguarundi |Location- |Mention(s)-Sun,Lilia,yato, umbra he shook his head " im not old, but my species doesn't grow any more then this" he jestered to his entirty with his overly long tail witch was natural as well, " we are goin south over black ridge, its a longer trek but safer, its the way sun wanted us to go. they caribou, or reindeer, are said to be beyond that" he said adding reindeer because they acted like they've never heard the word caribou before. he shivered once again but tried to ignore it as much as possible. " and we will go for a straggler, you and umbra will hobble the beast, since you two are faster and Yato, being the strongest will take the final blow" he said "i think im here to just watch over you immature brats" he said trying to sound annoyed but failed because he could not hold his smile back. yes he wasn't good at hunting especially large prey but it was good to hang out with friends. though he does believe hes here to make sure they get there and back in one piece. 0 players like this post! And she didn't have to do much to keep them away. "Yeah, yeah that sounds smart 'n stuff." She looked around, not seeing much out of the ordinary, though she supposed that was a good thing. "Alright," she sighs and slowly began to pick her way towards the scent of - what she assumed to be - caribou. They smelled a bit funky. Like deer, but also... smellier. Her nose crinkles. "At least they look tasty..." She paused and looked back at the deputy. She almost forgot she actually had superiors now. She gave him to lead. It was only polite for them to let him set the pace. He was about to give her a response when he noticed another cat approaching them. The Bengal turned and spotted someone he had never seen before, and for a moment he prepared himself to attack. His bristled when the snow leopard tucked herself between him, making the tom feel protective of her. Once he realized that this jaguar was a new pride member, Yato took a deep breath to calm his nerves. "I'm Yato," He said feeling a little unnerved by this stranger. The tom decided to watch on as the three of them all interacted together, Lilja was already a lot to handle. She didn't need another cat to bring out an even more crazy side of her. Yato followed behind the three, yawning and stretching his limbs out. "I've never stolen anything in my whole life," He said to them with a hint of disbelief. He may be childish and goofy, but even the white tiger had his morals to follow. Though, today he wasn't feeling quite himself. The male wasn't too thrilled about having Umbra join them, but he pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind. "So Umbra. Where were you before you joined out pride?" The serval turned to see his mentor and smiled gently at her. He had been waiting all day for the caracal to return, and it seemed like ages had passed since. The tom got to his paws and padded after Inari, glad that they were close to the same size. He couldn't imagine having a mentor as large as a tiger or lion to guide him. Once they arrived back at the den he listened closely to her instructions. Kazuma's fur bristled at her threat but he knew she was joking. "Killing me would be your biggest mistake," He mewed trotting over to the neatly organized leaves. "I'll come back to haunt you, and every time you leave I'll knock over your leaves." He teased playfully, sniffing deeply taking in all of the smells. After several minutes of sniffing and studying the white serval came to a conclusion. "I have no idea what any of these do," The feline mewed honestly, feeling his face heat up with embarrassment. He had not been a healer's apprentice for very long at all. Umbra|SunPride - Guard|1.5|Male - Melanistic Jaguar|Location - Camp|Mention(s) - Lilja & Jereth & Yato Umbra smiled pleasantly at the white tiger and bowed his head low in respect, "Pleasure to meet you Yato, my name is Umbra" he then lifted his head up and wiggled his ears comically at Yato as a sign of content. The four continued strolling south as the conversation arose - one that Umbra had been dreading. "Where was I? So - my past - Oh..." he stuttered as he kicked snow up from the ground "I don't remember too far back - but I suppose that there was no reason to remember anything at the time..." Umbra forced a smile at Yato "When I was younger, I was kept under constant watch by my parents. Never allowed to venture out. Never allowed to see the outside world. Never allowed to be who I wanted to be. Forever being ordered to act in a certain way. Forever being moulded to be someone who I didn't want to be. To stay hidden from the outside as of predators and other unseen dangers which could hurt me, but as a predator myself, I had not a care in the world" Umbra paused and took a sharp breath "I guess one day I rebelled - not too long ago now to think about it... Perhaps 5 or so months ago I left my sibling, my mother and my father behind. I just slithered away in the night." Umbra paused again and strode forward a few more paces before recalling the rest of his story "You see, they weren't like me, they were normal looking and I'm just strange compared to them. So I thought, I'll be different. I'll go against everything they taught me. And that's where the stealing comes in." Umbra sighed "After I left home I realised that I couldn't hunt the animals that my family would provide for me so I'd just raid wolf camps once I was large enough to, simply just take their kills from them and kill a few of them myself if I had to, they aren't that hard to defeat sometimes... But the food, I needed it to live. If I didn't steal back then, I wouldn't be alive today. I only stole food when I was unable to catch it myself, I had no choice - well I did... but the wolves were bad... they didn't deserve to live or be able to eat... not after what they'd done..." he shut his eyes tightly as if in pain "I did go back to my old burrow in the end, only a couple of weeks ago now come to think of it... but they were there... the wolves... a whole pack of them in my families burrow... the screaming... just haunts me still... I couldn't do anything... Their red stained pelts and jaws" Umbra slunk down onto the ground and his ears flopped downwards "I just ran away as fast as I could. ::Event For Hunting Party:: A big black wolf climbs over the mountain ridge, with his pack of wolves following close behinde him. The alpha had led his pack a far distance, in search of pray. After what seemed like days of travel, they had finally come upon the scent of caribou. New the herd of reindeer was in sight, his wolves snarled and drooled at the mere thought of sinking their teeth into the big pray. When several of them made starts to chase a weak old animal close to them, the gigantic wolf snarled and put them back into their place. He stepped to the edge of the mountain top and smelled the air, he knew that he had stepped into cat territory. He never cared much, to remember the names of their groups. His golden eyes had a deathly glint to them, as he tasted the unmistakable stench of cat on the wind. There where a few of them, the black monsters eyes closed slightly, as a menacing smile spread across his face. The nearest wolves to him whimpered and stepped back, they knew that when their alpha had that face on some one was going to die. The black wolf's golden eyes flew over the mountain side and rested on the pelts of the hunting cats. A snarl spread to his face, a snarl mixed with a deathly laughter. Instead of jumping down and meeting the cats head on by himself, the black wolf turned back to his pack. Calling five battle hungry wolves to him, the black wolf turned and looked down the mountainside. With his big paws landing firmly on the uneven ground, he started his slow descent towards the herd of caribou and the group of cats. (The wolves might scuffle with the cats, but the hunting party can not fight off all of the wolves on their own. Instead the leader of the pack and Jereth will talk, there will be no lives lost on either side) 0 players like this post! Like? |

He picked up his pace becoming the lead of the traveling cats. He was quite as umbra talked about his past. Not knowing what to say to the feline he kept quiet. He never had a family in that sence, being hand raised by humans made family matter a bit difficult to understand. Once he saw the 6 wolves her spoke up "there here" he announced evenly his voice was strong and smooth, but on the inside he was terrified his small stance gave him a disadvantage if a fight were to start. 0 players like this post!
