The major mutation "Child of Mar" causes a Dogweed's tail to be replaced by a serpent. Both have a small chance to pass on to their offspring. NOTE: The "Child of Mar" mutation naturally causes darker offspring, and cannot be affected by light dye.

Description: Enters you into a raffle for a chance to win a Dogweed (each Dogweed has a separate raffle.) You may buy as many tickets as you like, though remember there is no guarantee you will win just because you purchased more tickets. Once you have won one raffle you will be removed from all other raffles in this event. All four of these Dogweeds are classified as "rare."

Item used
-1 Lemon
+2 Acid
-1 cooling mint
+5 health (Zek 10/10)

Unaware of the horrors that faced his gardenmate in the forest, Zek moved in to attack Mar. She was on her last legs... so to speak.

He almost pitied her at this point, she was barely fighting back anymore. Relying heavily on her children to force the Dogweeds back. Regardless, this was their home. She had no right to be here, and he was going to remind her of this.

Zek downed a ripe lemon, one he had been stowing away in his hoard for exactly this moment. His mouth tingled, he could feel the effects already!

A.) Use his caustic sap
B.) Fiercely bite
C.) Lash his tail

Zek tactfully placed his sap on branches he thought the snake might escape to. The immortal tree was entirely unharmed by its increased acidity, leaving the entirety of the damage to be taken by Mar. Unfortunately the snake refused to move.

Zek tried to goad her into backing up. He snarled and snapped, she slithered back a little landing right on top of a caustic patch of sap. The smoldering skin crackled as she tried to tear free. She seemed more panicked than in pain at this point.

"No more.. no more burning. No more fire," her voice was high pitched, urgent. Zek's ears flattened in confusion. She was the intruder, she was the villain, so why did he feel almost bad for her?

He returned to the garden, eager to tell Ajay of his encounter with the snake and ask his garden-mate what she found in the forest only to find that their home was empty. He called out to her, but no response came.

Rollover, we are now on turn 7 - FINAL TURN
If you haven't finished up your previous turn don't worry! You can still continue today and start turn 7 afterwards.

This will be our FINAL TURN! There will be No Attacking today. This is just one last turn to finish up loose ends and maybe try and get a few last minute event points. You may use your sweet treats if you still have them. When the turn is over I will talk more about the event shop and give out more info.

I'm heading to work, feel free to leave your starting posts and I'll get back to them asap.

I'll go ahead and use my remaining mint on Zek as he is at half health.

Pegasus breathes in the new day satisfied with yesterday's results. Mar and her brood should be as good as gone now. He wanted to take one last look around to be sure though. He didn't want to find any other ferals who were tricked to their death or ones trapped by Mar's remaining brood. So he decided to go and search to allievate any of his concerns.

Continuation of turn 6

Now that the others had finally left, Alcaeus was ready to attack. He strolled proudly forward, watching as the snake slowly slumped to the bottom of the Great Ribbon Tree’s thick trunk. Mar hung limply, barely able to lift her head anymore. Silently he slunk through the brush, just in case she was feigning defeat, then lunged forward. He broke free of the brush, catching the snake by surprised. His tail whipped so quickly that the serpent’s own children could not predict the attack. His thorns sank into her underbelly, yet she made no noise. He was certain the blow had connected, much damage had to have been done, yet she offered no reaction.

Her head hung at an awkward angle, her eyes rolled towards Alcaeus. For a moment he stood in silence, trying to catch his breath. Once more like many of his kinfolk before him, he urged to beast to leave their lands. A warning. They may still let her leave with her life if only she stopped this foolishness.

Her own breathing was ragged at this point as she tried to force the words out.

“I can’t,” she whispered, “There’s nothing left, we can’t go back. This is the only place that’s safe from her. Her and that awful light and heat.” Her children now surrounded Alcaeus, he wanted to continue their conversation but they were edging towards him and he feared their venomous bite.

“She did it for you and your kind. It is only fair that I return the injustice.”

Mar’s crimson eyes shut tightly and her children hissed in panic, some in anger. Alcaeus knew that one more blow was enough to kill her, the beast still lived yet he could do nothing. Then again he wasn’t entirely sure he wanted to kill her anymore. He wanted to find out the meaning of her cryptic words. Or were they just honeyed lies from a serpent’s tongue?

You have found the following items:
- Intel (+2 event points)

Damage done to Mar: 4 points
+2 event points

Your Dogweed has NOT taken damage.
Mar is too weak.

Mar has been defeated! She is not dead, but none can reach the tree to land the final blow as it is too heavily surrounded by her spawn.

Vega you're all caught up with turn 6! You may continue with turn 7 at any time.

Item used
-1 cooling mint
+5 health (Zek 10/10)

For your selfless action you have been awarded 1 Saint Point!

Pegasus rose early in the day, eager to join in the search of the forest after hearing the news of the events that had occurred just the night before. Mar was drawing her last breath, even if she could no longer be attacked she would surely die from her severe wounds soon enough. He was pleased to know that her villainy would soon be put to an end, but was still shocked that she would hold out for so long. Surely it would have been easier for her to run now that she had been so obviously overpowered by the might of their kind.

Either way, the Dogweed-tender was still missing and there were stray ribbons still to be found and choices to be made. With so much to do it was difficult to decide how to best spend his time.

A.) Join Zek in his search for his missing garden-mate Ajay
B.) Search for the Dogweed-tender
C.) Search for the source of the recent scent of fire.

The suspense may have to last a bit longer. I apologize everyone but I got wrapped up in some other work and haven't had a chance to write up my replies. I promise I'll wrap it all up tomorrow since it's my day off.

Apologies again thanks for sticking with me!

Okay see you tomorrow

Pegasus debates it in his head for a while before deciding to join Zek in his search for his missing garden-mate Ajay. Whatever happened to Ajay could happen to Zek as well, it would be better if they both went in search of Ajay, that way they could watch out for one another.

Zek was beginning to worry, he had not seen hide nor hair of Ajay since the night before. He tried not to panic, but was too distraught to think logically. Ajay was strong, surely she could handle anything. She would be fine... right?
He had heard of many deaths in the Forest, Dogweeds who risked their life for the good of their kind or who fell victim to cruel traps and tricks. It was the only explanation. She couldn’t be lost, not in their own forest. No Dogweed has ever forgotten how to return to the Mother-tree, it just didn’t happen. That left only one explanation for why she had not returned. He didn’t want to think about it.

His feet were swift, carrying him into the heart of the forest without a moment’s delay. His search was unorganized; nerves had made every action chaotic. With each failed attempt he became more and more frantic. A fellow Dogweed, a grey-striped former-feral known as Pegasus, joined at his side and offered aid. Zek thanked him for the offer, and explained the situation. That Ajay was not one to vanish irresponsibly, nor was she so weak to succumb to the shadow-serpent’s attacks. Concerned Pegasus volunteered his skills to run off ahead and help scout. With that the two parted.

Not more than a moment later Zek caught Ajay’s scent, she was nearby! His heart was beating so hard he could practically feel it climbing up out of his throat. He parted the overgrown brambles and bushes with his muzzle until he came across the sight of his garden-mate’s warm colored coat. She seemed badly beaten, but was still strong enough to keep her head upright. She stared at him wordlessly. She seemed perfectly placed in the one patch of sunlight that streamed through the canopy.

A.) Run to her side.
B.) Search the area first.
C.) Call out to her.
