"Do you know how?" He asked out of curiosity. He had grown up catching mice and whatever else he could to eat. If she was so hungry, they could have a snack out of a mouse. He crouched down and watched the mice. He was prepared to pounced on them at a second's notice.

He laughed and shook his head. "Watch and pay attention to what I do." He said. He moved into position and picked out one of the mice that was still out in the open. He waited patiently, claws already out. He was still for a few second before he leaped and caught the mouse in his paws and bit swiftly on the neck to give it a quick death. "It's all about patience and timing." He said.

A small commotion in the distance caught the attention of a white cat. Silently, Cloud stalked through the undergrowth towards the noises. The cat's belly was plump, making it hard to tell if she was pregnant or just ate too much. I wonder what could be happening? She asked herself as she neared the strange noises. Once the white she-cat was close enough, she was able to tell exactly what she had been hearing. Two cats could be seen in the distance trying their best to hunt some prey. Or at least that's what it looked like to her. The pretty she-cat decided to sit down and watch the two for a few heartbeats, making sure it was safe to show herself to these strangers. Cloud had to bite her tongue in order to keep herself from gasping at the sight of the other she-cats face. She had never seen such horrible scarring before, and couldn't believe the white and ginger cat was still alive. Taking a small step forward, the white cat accidentally stepped on a hidden twig. A loud snap could be heard, along with a few curses from Cloud herself.

Princess nodded as she watched before stalking another mouse. She got low to the ground and waited before pouncing and caught the mouse, a slight purr escaping her muzzle. Princess bit down on the mouse's neck, killing it. Princess was walking towards Shadow before she heard a snap on her bad side, due to her missing eye and half missing ear she couldn't tell what or who was there. She bounded towards Shadow and hid behind him, her mouse dangling in her jaws. She was panting and very startled.

Shadow blinked in surprise. "Ah geeze. A snap f a branch startled you?" He asked, shaking his head but turning and giving her a small comforting nudge. "Come on! Lets see what made it snap!" He said, cheerful. He started bounding towards where the noise came from, having no real fear of the forest itself. He knew other things lay inside of it that he knew little of, but that's what made it fun.

The beautiful she-cat hissed in defeat at her early discovery. With a sigh, she revealed herself to the two cats. Cloud held her head high as she showed herself to the black tom and scarred she-cat, only feeling a bit nervous by being outnumbered. "I didn't mean to startle the two of you," She mewed calmly, sending a few glances towards the she-cat. That's when the rogue noticed a collar around her neck. "Where are your housefolk?" Cloud asked looking around her.

The she-cat sat down, giving her chest a quick lick before answering the tom's question. She felt a lot better knowing that no housefolk were very close by. "I used to live with my housefolk very far from here. But I decided to leave them with my...friend and ended up here." Cloud paused for a moment, not really wanting to discuss her personal life with cats she didn't know. "My name is cloud. It's nice to finally meet some other cats." She purred giving the two a friendly smile. "What are your names?" She asked, forgetting her manners.

Shadow tilted his head some. "The name's Shadow." He said. "I live in a barn not far from here." He said. "Who else are you with? You mentioned a friend." He said, wanting to know if there were others around. It could mean more playmates perhaps. There would be less boredom if there were more around instead of hiding inside the twoleg nests.

Cloud's eyes narrowed in disbelief at Princess's nickname for herself. "You let others call you such a distasteful name? I'd claw their ears off if I was you," The white she-cat suggested confidently to the older cat. She then turned to Shadow and gave him a sad smile. "Unfortunately my friend didn't make it this far," The rogue trailed off for a moment, her sadness almost overwhelimg her. "I am expecting kittens though!" She purred trying desperately to forget about her loss. "I've been searching for a safe place to make my nest for weeks now! But I still haven't found one." Cloud huffed playfully to the two cats.
