Hollowfall had just finished off his mouse when he heard a voice asking for his attention. He turned his head and looked upon Hawkpaw, who also looked like they had just woken up. he was about to reply when Hawkpaw's attention was diverted by Featherheart. He waited until they had finished talking before he spoke, "Yes? What is it?" He knew that the younger tom was most likely going to ask about getting a mentor, most of them did these days, but he hadn't heard anything so there was nothing he could do, except for organize patrols.

He listened to Hawkpaw, his earlier guess being correct, before he noticed that the other tom seemed a little bit embarrassed. "It's okay. I know that everyone is curious but even I'm not completely sure yet. How about I let you know when I hear something, okay?" Hollowfall gave the apprentice a sympathetic smile as he got up from where he had formerly lain. It was going to be a long day and he figured that it might be best to sort out patrols while it was still early.

BasilLeaf - Warrior - 18/18 health - Leaving Camp - Open for interactions

BasilLeaf smiled to her old friend before walking away from the elders. She glanced around camp, sending bright, overly excited smiled towards everyone. She turned and bounded out of camp, almost getting stuck on any to every low branched plant along the way. As she bounded away, she headed in the direction of a good fishing spot, knowing this was mainly the only form of hunting she was actually great at. Everything else was much harder for her than for other cats, though she usually ignored the feelings of uselessness, she couldn't help but hear them ring time to time. Though, despite that, she kept her smile plastered on her face, she wouldn't be able to prove shes just as useful as the others if she let herself be stopped now would she?

Stopping at the river she stepped into a shallower area, letting the water ride up to her chin, though her large paws worked well in keeping her well grounded. She waited, letting the fish come to her, attracted by the bits of leaves and waving grass in her fur. Finally one cam close, she lashed about, grabbing onto the fish and chucking it out of the water. Water went flying, and the other fish swam away. Basil let out a breath, grabbing the fish, and moving to another spot to do it all over again.

Hawkpaw sniffed the fresh kill pile. He saw a few fish and some other prey. "If only I had a mentor. Then I could go out and catch prey for my Clan. At least I know that Hollowfall is doing his best." The young tom murmured aloud looking toward his deputy. He shrugged and walked to a nice patch of sunlight. He laid down and felt the nice sun on his pelt. He licked his sleek fur cleaning it from any dirt or mud.

He stopped in his tracks when he heard another cat walk up to him, noticing that it was Featherheart, one of the younger warriors. "Yes, actually I was just about to organize them," He replied, his voice deep and smooth, flicking his tail as Hawkpaw walked up yet again and asked to be on a patrol too. "Hold on for a moment," He said to the pair of them, bounding away a heartbeat later and climbing up onto Highrock. "Featherheart, Hollowpaw, and Basilleaf, I need you to lead a hunting patrol. I'll have the border patrols sorted out soon."

Hawkpaw didn't hear Featherheart. His feet where already tired of standing there. He had been stuck in this camp for to long. He realized that now. "I've never felt this happy. Well except maybe my apprentice ceremony." He meowed not really caring if anyone heard it or not. He just wanted to walk out of the camp entrance and hunt or learn something.
