Talking in chat got me thinking, wouldn't it be cool to have an NCL exclusive mutation? Just like bases and eyes, and CRB and posed, but rarer. It would ONLY exist in NCL's and maybe cubs that they would pass it to! I could not find a suggestion for this!

No idea what the actual mutation would be though.

These are all options. By no means am I saying that these are THE suggestion. I am not going to decide the specifics. These are just ideas. Please do not "no support" for these, these are ideas for the admins if this is implemented.
-It would only be findable by Dreamboats
-It would be as rare or rarer than finding CRB girls
-It might be on chased girls? (UP FOR DEBATE)
-Maybe it wouldn't be visible until after you claimed the girl? And after claiming her it says:
"Uh oh! After claiming this lioness you were shocked to discover that she had some sort of mutation."
-Even if you could see the mutation it would maybe say something?
-Passable by Lion scrotum, a new item, or just a slightly chance of it passing? Possibly the same chance as piebald.

This suggestion has 559 supports and 26 NO supports.

There are a lot of things that Xylax/other admins have said are automatically rejected but were still added. I can name a few if you'd like, but I don't think this is too out of that ballpark!
This is a cute idea - we have NCL-exclusive bases, so why not mutations? Support.

That's cute! A new variation of piebald may work! I will put that as a suggestion

Honestly, that just looks like an under marking and not a piebald variation. While I disagree that piebald is the way to go, I think a variation that's similar to light piebald (doesn't take up much on the lioness) would be best if chosen.

It's a NCL, they don't get to have awesome markings (or interesting piebalds if they could have), that's why I think that a very simple piebald would suit them. and its nothing like an under marking since: 1- it doesn't loose opacity, 2- its not soft and blended, 3- there's no white marking identical to it, 4- the nose and lips will be pink on were the piebald is, white markings never do that. 5- that's just a mock-up of a "tips" piebald, it could be more speckling, like piebalds of lioden are.

I’m clicking no support for now just because of some of the details here.

I don’t really think it makes sense for the exclusive mut to be a piebald variation, for example. I think having one type of piebald that’s different from all the others is just going to cause confusion - people seem to struggle enough with muties and knowing how to get hold of or breed them already, without complicating existing types more.

The other thing is I think for this to work it would need to much much rarer than has been mentioned, too. Even if it was only found at the same rate as CRB'd NCLs, that’s still relatively high. I’ve found a few of those just in the last few days, without even really trying, so at that rate they’d be everywhere pretty quickly, which would sort of defeat the point imo. Similarly anything like a 15% pass rate would have the same effect. Tbh I think to keep any amount of rarity it would need to be much rarer than CRBs, and at least as low as current primal/piebald/og fur pass rates, probably lower.

I don’t hate the overall idea though, I think in theory something along these lines has potential :)

The piebald isn't my idea, it is just one that was created and does not need to be added.

And I said as rare or rarer than CRB's. I don't really know the rate of finding one. If I did it would be easier to decide. And I also don't remember the rate for piebalds so I just put same rate as piebalds as an option. Thank you for your input.

I dont really get it, if you were to get a NCL with this you wouldn't be able to breed cubs from them as piebald are passed from the father not the mother. -Never mind thats just for primals lol

I think the idea has something good behind it but I think the details need a little bit of work. But its true that just NCL bases and eyes are common now, maybe if you have a suppper rare chance then it would work.

None of these are set in stone, they all are just ideas, and pie was suggested by someone else <3

Piebalds pass from both parents ^^ so if a NCL-exclusive piebald was added, it would be able to pass.

Primals are the ones that are male-passing only.

No support. Look at NCL exclusive bases. They're so common at this point people just kill them, similar to Mosaic eyes since they are common too. Even if the rarity is drastically dropped, the likely hood that you could find a mutation is only upped by using such items as energy roots, roasted lambs, and even the fact you can explore several times a day. It's just not a good idea, even putting restrictions on it wouldn't stop the fact they can be found on so many levels.

Say, if it was up to Interstellar level rarity. 200+ have been found in just a month (many already used). Now imagine these 200 breeding. Ones definitely going to produce another.

Not to mention I'm quite sure piebald itself is only gotten through breeding or using the Mutie on Demand: Piebald. And the NCL claiming system is made so there are no mutations whatsoever in it. That's why a chased lioness loses its mutation, so it can still appear as a chased for other players. This suggestion has too many issues with how Lioden already works to actually be implemented.

This is an interesting concept, but if it can be seen in the claiming window, users that have the GB to claim her or an orchid will, and they'll loose value, fast.
They would have to be at least 5 times rarer than CRB's for them to be 'rare'.
I don't think it should be a pie, though.

I just thought about this, and while I don't know how it would be implemented, but what about a mutation that could only be born to a CRB'd NCL.
