Talking in chat got me thinking, wouldn't it be cool to have an NCL exclusive mutation? Just like bases and eyes, and CRB and posed, but rarer. It would ONLY exist in NCL's and maybe cubs that they would pass it to! I could not find a suggestion for this!

No idea what the actual mutation would be though.

These are all options. By no means am I saying that these are THE suggestion. I am not going to decide the specifics. These are just ideas. Please do not "no support" for these, these are ideas for the admins if this is implemented.
-It would only be findable by Dreamboats
-It would be as rare or rarer than finding CRB girls
-It might be on chased girls? (UP FOR DEBATE)
-Maybe it wouldn't be visible until after you claimed the girl? And after claiming her it says:
"Uh oh! After claiming this lioness you were shocked to discover that she had some sort of mutation."
-Even if you could see the mutation it would maybe say something?
-Passable by Lion scrotum, a new item, or just a slightly chance of it passing? Possibly the same chance as piebald.

This suggestion has 559 supports and 26 NO supports.

I like the idea of it being rarer than a CRB. It would need to be rare enough to have any value in the market (and because autoclaiming would be very easy and accessible). I do like the idea a lot, especially since LD has iterated that they won't have the current mutations claimable in explore due to that severely devaluing them. This is a totally different thing that would work. I supported.

I'd be totally down for a Chimera mutation that would let the NCLs have two bases split in half.

EDIT: Some crazy spots like this fella would also be a great thing to see.

To counter the autoclaiming on sight (which would cap prices at 2GB pretty much instantly) what is it was a non-visible mutation? Like deaf? That way people couldnt just autoclaim, they'd have to go through each NCL individually to find the mutie.

I do believe it should be an NCL-exclusive mutie that you can only get if you're a Dreamboat and it would be about as rare as CRB, if not rarer, gals, but I don't think it should ONLY be able to pass via lion scrot. I just think that's unfair.

Sorry, no support. I believe that this would ruin the rarity system, even if they were rarely encountered in Explore. I think I would only support it if the mutation was non-passable. That way, it would not become a "mutie", but instead a little trophy from Explore. We have enough mutations as it is- or, at least I believe we do. Adding another one that just a Piebald could potentially mess up prices on other Piebalds. (Reference to your mockup of Piebald)

What if it was something similar to vitiligo? Not the marking, the real-life thing where color pigments are slowly lost. That way it's non-visible when claimed and slowly gets worse over time.

It could also become a December-only NCL to stick with the snowy themes (instead of vitiligo, it could be called Snow Spotting or something similar). If not a December exclusive, we could also call it Depigmentation.

The reason I suggest this is because vitiligo is believed to be caused by environmental changes and what's a bigger change than suddenly joining a pride?

I just love the NCL-exclusive thing in general. Hopefully the auto-reject thing will get removed/updated

Unfortunately this is on the rejected suggestions list which can be found here.

I'm not entirely sure if it pertains only to currently-existing mutations; if so, I would lend my wholehearted support towards a mutation such as Chimera (and would actually love for that to be an existing mutation on Lioden regardless) but as it stands I don't think this would be implemented anyway due to being a chance to find and claim a mutated lion in explore.

I think this is a great idea!! I feel like it'd have to be a new mutation so people don't get upset about values dropping in other mutations, and it'd probably have to be rare (maybe dreamboat-exclusive like the special NCL bases?)

Alternatively, maybe it could be restricted to certain events! The February event might work nicely, or October for spooky mutations

Interesting concept I think it's neat and unlike some others who state they run across some less common lionesses every so often they must remember that isn't everyone and where are those statistics to get those numbers?

I like the idea and support it.

I do not think piebald should touch ncl lions due to it specifically being released for black Friday when people pay over a certain amount buying gb same with patches.

I propose a series of ideas:
•Dilution
decreases vibrancy of all markings and base colors (think of a black dog vs blue/grey or red vs isabella) the markings would follow suit as well meaning if they all have 100 opacity marks and those are diluted they will still look clean and not muddy unlike when marks have varying opacity which is different than a diluted look. Think of it this way a fawn dog with a diluted mask goes from black to grey or what others know it as "blue".

•a small primal version
This mutation is completely different think of a forest cat type of deal. We have primals that look nothing like a lion but more like a lynx, so why not a wild cat or serval based mutation? Is unique and completely different but hold true to the feline theme.

•marking mutation
Add a marking that is a mutation think of maybe a clouded leopard where it would go on top like patches, but it isn't. It does however cover markings it is on top of creating a strong clouded leopard effect. Someone might be able to figure that out but meh I'm not going to think too hard on it.

•water resistance(?)
Not just the mane is affected here but the lion is noticeably more fury than your average normal lion. Call it a plush coat lion that has fur much like a water dog. Inside Layer to keep them warm outside lawyer to repel the water. These lions are a very rate uncounted that can ONLY be found dieing the rainy season when the lands are flooding. This would fix people's complaints about the rarity because they could only be found so often during a certain time frame. Plus fluffy cubs would be to die for. The males fur is longer but does not quite over take their Mane that is always slightly a bit fluffier than the rest... if it becomes transferrable to male offspring.

•hairless (?))
In not huge on hairless, but I know others are and there are cays in Egypt that have survived for centuries in intense heat. That being said maybe hairless lions xD just have the markings on the body show up like they would on a hairless cat (white/gold)=pink black=gray reds and browns somewhere in between (?).. I have seen calico hairless, torti, blue, pink, etc so using those markings as a base idea of from fur to skin could be apples on the site.. lots of work but could be neat. Might be caped on hunting though because too much sun exposure could be bad >.<

Umm yes I think getting completely away from already created and known mutations is important so that if it is implemented it has a unique flare that speaks for itself. One where people will actually enjoy/find it unique enough to want much like piebald, patches, primal, dwarfism. All of these mutations could even have some lore like over time they developed that way due to x the pride they come from is unknown but you managed to stumble across a unique female that seemed to have adapted to her environment. Do you want to try to charm her?
Next thing that would happen is you are taken to the claim page. Perhaps the amount to claim her could be elevated a bit more as well (?) But that could be a debatable thing.

Just a few more ideas for you ^^

Definitely yes! And I do support the idea that the mutation would only be visible after you claimed her. Like, well, you don't know she has CRB before claiming either.

I don't think this would lower the mut prices really, if it was a rare chance.

I think this should be added

Ncls should have the chance of atleast having blindness(possibly in one eye, from defending herself) maybe folded ears or bobbed tails would be nice too, I thought deaf but that's lethal sooo
