I supported the thread back in March how Poacher's Chase was giving people headaches. This thread is located here. Well now Fire Escape is here and I'm getting headaches from this game too and I'm not the only one. The poacher chase thread believed it was because of all the moving layers and I'm just going to copy what they wrote about it. "After playing it again with all the suggestions in mind I've realized it's not really the lack of noticeability in the obstacles but rather the parallax of the game. The multiple elements of the foreground and background that move at different speeds are causing some people to experience headaches/vertigo/dizziness/sickness/etc after the 1k mark. Though none of the effects so far are long lasting they're still not great! A possible way to fix this could be just to have a static image for both the foreground and background, so the only thing moving in the game would be the lion and the obstacles it jumps over. This wouldn't affect gameplay as things will still speed up as you progress and the jumping over obstacles mechanic won't change at all. Another suggestion would be instead of having all parallaxing stop, have less! Such as maybe JUST ONE foreground, the area the lion runs on, and background element instead of the current 2 elements of foreground, the ground the lion runs on, and 4 elements in the background all moving at different speeds at the same time (I don't think those numbers are accurate but you get the point XD) I know not everyone is experiencing these side-effects so I'm not suggesting to change the entire game this way, but instead have an option to toggle the parallax on or off before you start the game! And maybe have it remember your settings so if you die and want to restart you don't have to choose it every time. " Thank you TeaLeo (#85636) for that! Now can you please do something about fire escape so people can play it without getting headaches? EDIT: Fire escape now has a toggle to reduce movement. Thank you so much Micheal! |

Support - this is an accessibility issue. It doesn't affect me, but obviously it affects other people and I would love to see this fixed. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support, I get migraines from this kind of stuff and it’s debilitating. It’s a major disadvantage to people who it effects and is unfair to ignore. 0 players like this post! Like? |

they always respond with the same thing: dont play/dont participate. Even tho i support this and I hate these stupid ill games I dont think it will change. I wish they added more puzzles instead of what we have right now, I have so very little interest in all these games but I wish I had some games to play 0 players like this post! Like? If you don't like it don't play it, you don't NEED to play it. Seriously... drink more water if it gives you a headache? 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Ashri You do realize that not playing it could mean a difference of 3000+ carrion beetles and 1200+ dry bones? That's a massive disadvantage to those who can't play it. Also it's not like we are asking to remove the game, just give us options to reduce the strain on our eyes/brains. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support. Though I don't get headaches from it, I know my eyes do seem funny after completing a level (particularly when things start to get very fast around the 15000+ mark). Though it's true that you don't need to play it, you can get a fair few Dry Bones and Carrion Beetles from the game which I know for me personally is great, particularly for this event, as there's a number of valuable items in the shop this month. 0 players like this post! I suffer from insane migraines myself, and they can be brought on by intense and fast motion and bright lights. Playing this game really messes with my eyes, especially after the 10k mark. I’d really love to see an updated version of this game that doesn’t give me a three hour headache and cause intense eye strain. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Katia I get it, but I still don't support it. Sorry if you guys are upset you can't get that extra " 3000+ carrion beetles and 1200+ dry bones" a month 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ashri: Not all migraines and headaches are caused by not drinking water. My aunt gets migraines that resemble mini-strokes because of swelling in her brain and can’t handle bright lights or fast motion either. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The game doesn't bother me at all. But I totally agree that having the option to toggle certain things about the game could really help the people experiencing problems! That way, for the people not bothered by it, nothing has to change, but for the people who get headaches/dizziness from it, they can toggle some stuff about it. That way everybody wins. I see no problem with this 0 players like this post! Like? |

Perhaps they could make two versions of the game, but you can only submit from one or the other. One version that we have now and one that is good for people who get headaches. I mean if that would be easier then a toggle. 0 players like this post! Like? |
