| -LOCKED - Coding Update: Lion Page, Conservation and more! | |

Coding Update!Lion Page Optimisations* Lion name and information at the header of the page has been condensed so that it doesn't take up half of the initial page. * The lion's image now fits fully in the window no matter what size your device's screen is. If you are a mobile user, you should no longer need to scroll sideways to see the full lion image. * Feed, Play and Breed/AutoBreed have been moved to the top, just underneath the image for ease of access. Play now incorporates the old Interact menu, and is automatically selected before any amusement toys are selected.
* EXP bar (or cub training bar) and level have been merged with the Lion Stats table. * Revealing a lioness' fertility has been moved to the fertility Snake - you can now use that tool to reveal the fertility of different lionesses at the same time instead of having to navigate your way through your pride. * Update Lion section is now collapsible. * A lion's biography will not show on the page if it is empty, saving some valuable page space. * Broodmother has now been incorporated into the lion's "Role" alongside Hunter and can be updated when you update your Lion's details. * You can now also secure your lion from the Update Lion section.
* Chase, Kill and Send to Nature Reserve have been condensed (with a collapsible description of all the options). The buttons have also been color coded; orange is neutral, red is negative karma, green is positive karma.
* The Nesting page has been switched around a little to have the nesting function at the top and the list of lionesses at the bottom. * Mysterious Stranger's appearance chances have been increased. * Admins can now make a response to a forum post which is displayed in a styled box and gives you a notification - for instance, if you ask a question on the news post, we can now reply in your forum post and you will know about it right away!
We've proudly donated to charity as part of our March anti-poaching event and now we have implemented a permanent page called "Conservation Efforts". This page is linked at the bottom of the game with our Terms and Code of Conduct, so that now you can investigate the charities we have donated to in the past along with some other information about conservation efforts around the globe. We've decided that August 31st will become the first community update without the coding update, so that we can give you more fun content for August Event. Okay, this is a tad late, but (if it isn't already in the works) could you possibly relocate or separate the "update lion" and "chase, kill, send to nature reserve"? Please?! Because my mind is used to lock lion in the old update and I've lost a few cubs trying to lock their pages, and, instead, have accidentally sent them off. I know it seems like a stupid mistake, but I breed a lot of cubs and my mind goes on auto pilot, and this update has confused me and frustrated me and losing cubs I meant to save has drove me off the deep end. So I apologize if I sound harsh... Just my cubs... ;V; 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't mind most of the changes, but a few: - It's kinda annoying that if you Need to change the lions Name you have to click an extra button. - Ist really inconvenient that you have to go to the snake to reveal the fertility. I only Need the fertility when the female is in heat, so now I have to go from the lioness to the snake, where I first have to scroll through nearly the whole pride to select the Girl in heat .___. 0 players like this post! I thought having a lot of stuff moved more to the top would be convenient so I wouldn't have to scroll down every time I wanted to do something, but I still have to press page down once to feed/play etc like I used to, so it doesn't make much of a difference for me personally. For the whole fertility thing, I thought that 'navigating through my pride' was more convenient than having to visit the snake. 'specially since I don't name many of my lions before I decide what to do with them. I DO like how the pages are more compact now, though! The colours from chase/kill/send away are also nice and will probably save a lot of people a lot of trouble. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I honestly disagree that going to the fertility snake is an inconvenience. It actually makes it have a purpose now, there was never really a point to go to it before~ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Just because a feature gives something else purpose does not mean it isn't an inconvenience. Instead of previously being able to look at a lioness's vague fertility indicator, reveal it and observe the accurate fertility percentage of that lioness all on one page without having to click elsewhere, we now have to look at the lioness's vague fertility indicator, exit her lion page, click on Crossroads, click on the Snake, scroll down to the fertility snake, scroll down the list of lionesses to find the one you want to have her fertility revealed and then, once her fertility has been revealed, click back to the lioness's page in order to find out what her fertility percentage is. It is overly cumbersome and is a far messier and dragged out process. Furthermore, the fertility snake already had a purpose as it sells tackweed and chasteberries which are veru useful in temporarily boosting or nerfing a lioness's fertility percentage. 0 players like this post! Pretty much what Blue Pigeon said, yep! Agreed. If a feature isn't being used and is not, well, useful... Then it makes much more sense to remove the feature altogether, instead of forcing people to go out of their way to use it. There are tons of more convenient ways it could be done, like oh I don't know, a button on our lions' pages, for instance? Oh wait, that's how it was before these new "convenient and helpful" changes. Sorry but wow. xD And idk about you guys, but I find having to buy chasteberries and tackweed from that snake to be a huge pain in the butt to begin with... One at a time? Really? Really really??? What even is that?! So much unnecessary clicking! It should at the very least allow you to buy them in bulk by now. Or maybe just scrap that particular snake altogether (it's a shame because I love snakes but come on) and relocate chasteberries and tackweed to the Monkey Shop so we can stop being silly and buy them in bulk. That's something that would actually be useful, so much easier, and convenient. But no, instead we get to deal with the Crapsnake(tm)!  Cool.What really bothers me the most out of all of this is when trying to breed a lioness, you now have to scroll all the way down the page near the bottom to check what her fertility is, then scroll all the way back to the top where the breed button is now located. Uh huh... Because that makes sense. Please please pleeeeeease fix this, it is one of the most annoying things I have ever dealt with on here so far...  (It's really only second to the whole 'everyone must use caves' fiasco, tbh.) It makes no logical sense for it to be this way. In all seriousness though, I don't even care which of the buttons gets moved where or anything, but it would make a lot more sense for them to be placed close together as opposed to being on pretty much opposite ends of the page. I didn't mean to start any arguments~ I was just stating my opinion. A couple extra clicks to figure out a lionesses fertility isn't an inconvenience for me :p it truly takes less than a minute to do so it's not a big deal to me personally. 0 players like this post! Like? |

don't worry, Shiba. it might not be that big a deal for someone with a normal, 40-lion sized pride, but what if the pride is consisted of over a 100 lions? And many breeders don't even really name their adults. It'd take ages to find the right one ;) ** oh, and another suggestion: Make the chase-off button yellow? it'd be like yellow - green - red - the typical dark blue. it's just that chasing a cub off is being a thing instead of abandoning it :'D different colored buttons would solve this! 0 players like this post! I can get the name thing, but honestly even with 100 + lions scrolling through them wouldn't take that long. Unless you don't name them. That is a very good point. But idk I always try to give all my lions different names for that reason. Would be bad not to name any of your lions for gorilla enclave as well as trades etc etc. That's kinda moreso on the person that doesn't name their lions though. That makes a lot of things more difficult unfortunately with how the mechanics are on this site for various things  Either way, once again I really wasn't trying to argue with people so I don't know why people keep countering what I say. I just said I don't think it's an inconvenience. I wasn't speaking for everyone, just myself~ Please just let me have my opinion guys.
