This is a Semi-serious suggestion, concerning the Harbinger revealed in the news! In case you didn't see him, here he is! I was thinking, if we can have attributes pulled from the Angels and Demons of next month (and the gods of June and July), why not have something taken from this guy? Therefore I am suggesting the following: Harbinger Base: Based off of Harb's color palette. Postmortem: Breed only eye color concerning the Harbinger's eye color. Black Sclera, White glowing irises with no pupils Harbinger Mane: Similar to Apedemak's blade mane, but based again on the Harbinger. MUTATION: Mandibular Prognathism: More commonly known as an Underbite, a mutation arising from the mixing or mortal and supernatural genes. Passable by males and females. MUTATION: Ceradentata: A rarer passable mutation in which the mutated lion grows horns. This has been documented, albeit in Mountain Lions. This thread may or may not get art mockups of the above suggestion! I say "gene mixing" because I thought it would be neat if The Harbinger could function as an event stud. Given the tendency in IRL pantheons for gods, especially male gods, to sire demi-gods on mortals (looking at you Zeus!), I don't think this would be a stretch of the imagination! But what do you all think? Harbinger as an event Stud+ Guaranteed 3 Cubs at least + Boost for other general mutations - Lioness is on cooldown for 30 days instead of 20. - Lioness cannot hunt the day she is bred until RO. * The Base harbinger would either be BDSS occupy a NEW Genetics group: Black Dark Horizontal Special * New, Harbinger-specific currency. Locust wings maybe? |

I have an idea. Maybe there could be a thing called The Harbinger's Little Demons, and they could be lion-like demons that could be the studs, because I don't think the harbinger would really stud a bunch of lionesses... But as far as the base and mane goes, I have been drawing some ideas. I'll post them on here as soon as I am done. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Seems like we may already be getting some Harb applicators, so this thread may be a bit redundant, but until their released I wanna keep it around! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't think it's possible to have pupil-less eyes since the pupils are in the lineart, but support nonetheless! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sorry in advance for the long post! ;0; @a-damn "I'm pretty sure Xylax has previously said that only August would have Event Studs.." I don't think this was ever stated? If it has been, opinions change and nothing is set in stone. For example, Xylax was entirely against green and now we have olive and murk. However, event studs outside August has definitely been considered before. @Jax I really like this idea, however, the stud benefits are too good. 3 cubs, a mutation boost, exclusive mutations, base, mane and eyes.. damn. The stud cost needs to cost a shit load to balance it out. The cooldown isn't important (unless the lioness is a hybrid) cause anyone can just switch out for another lioness and repeat. I think there needs to be a few restrictions to try to prevent Harby abuse. One I have in mind is that it's necessary to finish his quests in order to get the stud perks. Though, limited breeds per player? Very high cost? I'm not quite sure. Nerfing his benefits is one thing, but I like the idea of high-cost with high-reward. As for the eyes, they'd need to put over the lineart like the blindness mutation/certain eye decor we have. I don't think it's too much of a hassle, either. Though I've seen suggestions of normal eyes that do go out the lineart get declined for that reason. However, Harbinger's eyes are unique enough of a colour to be a new pair of eyes. The glow can be done through decor instead! With the base, it's a good opportunity to incorporate Harbinger's style in it to make it more distinctive. Here's a sucky mockup but I think you get the general idea? I had no idea what to put on the head area, but here's what I imagined what a harbinger mane would look like. It should probably have a bit more on the top, though. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nice mockup! I agree, maybe the cost could be very high. Those tokens or whatever could be useful! I think the top of the mane definitely needs to be filled in for that to be appealing though. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I know this suggestion is a year old, but the horn mutation is possibly a teratoma (even the article posted mentions this). It's a tumor that can grow hair, teeth, fingers, etc. "They typically form in the ovary, testicle, or tailbone and less commonly in other areas. Symptoms may be minimal if the tumor is small." It causes pain and can be deadly at times. I'm not sure if this could be considered a mutation because it results from a complication during formation as a fetus, not due to genetics like how most mutations are. 0 players like this post!
