This is a Semi-serious suggestion, concerning the Harbinger revealed in the news! In case you didn't see him, here he is!  I was thinking, if we can have attributes pulled from the Angels and Demons of next month (and the gods of June and July), why not have something taken from this guy? Therefore I am suggesting the following: Harbinger Base: Based off of Harb's color palette. Postmortem: Breed only eye color concerning the Harbinger's eye color.  Black Sclera, White glowing irises with no pupils Harbinger Mane: Similar to Apedemak's blade mane, but based again on the Harbinger. MUTATION: Mandibular Prognathism: More commonly known as an Underbite, a mutation arising from the mixing or mortal and supernatural genes. Passable by males and females. MUTATION: Ceradentata: A rarer passable mutation in which the mutated lion grows horns. This has been documented, albeit in Mountain Lions. This thread may or may not get art mockups of the above suggestion! I say "gene mixing" because I thought it would be neat if The Harbinger could function as an event stud. Given the tendency in IRL pantheons for gods, especially male gods, to sire demi-gods on mortals (looking at you Zeus!), I don't think this would be a stretch of the imagination! But what do you all think? Harbinger as an event Stud+ Guaranteed 3 Cubs at least + Boost for other general mutations - Lioness is on cooldown for 30 days instead of 20. - Lioness cannot hunt the day she is bred until RO. * The Base harbinger would either be BDSS occupy a NEW Genetics group: Black Dark Horizontal Special * New, Harbinger-specific currency. Locust wings maybe? |

I do think this is a good idea, however I dislike the "at least 3 cubs" part. Instead, I think 1-2 cubs would be the normal amount, but rare occasions have higher numbers. We could explain it away as "well, there were some birth complications because The Harbinger isn't a lion, so the babies were a bit messed up". There's already a lot of boosts with this, including mutations, so this would make sense. For logic sense we'd also have to make it so that no hyrbids could be possible. 0 players like this post! Honestly I want breeding options for all the crazy event beasts. I think if they don't want to do actual mutations it could be a single use decor cubs can be born with, with a name like Harbinger's Spawn Another idea is instead of it being expensive he's picky about his offerings? Similar to the gorillas he could require lionesses to have certain stats, personalities and genetics. 0 players like this post! I'd rather not support adding any sort of mating with event NPCs. We already claim Wenet. That's fine. We DO spend an entire storyline effectively courting her like a fantasy lion might, after all. I like the idea of a Harbinger base, perhaps that you have a chance to get by completing a final challenge at the end of the month. But not breeding with him. That makes no sense. All Lioden hybrid breeding is between big cats that are genetically compatible. But receiving a 'Mark of Prophecy' item from him is great. 0 players like this post! Like? |

They're big cats. Breeding within the game are all genetically compatible big cats. We have not - to my knowledge - proven that smilodon's machairodont genus (primal's inspiration) is genetically compatible with modern day panthera, but that's about as 'fantasy' as interspecies breeding has ever gotten on this game. Even all mutations are those which must be possible in wild lions, and not the result of captivity nor attempted domestication. As such, I'm not willing to support a suggestion about breeding with anything which is not within the panthera genus. I'd sooner support the Manticore than this, because at least the manticore is a leonine creature. No support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I offered input on why I hit no support, rather than just silently pressing the button and leaving, because I feel it's more constructive that way.
