Midnight Pride is a pride that lives in Africa with lions of many different colors and genetics. These Lions live on a government protected land and cannot be killed by humans, at least not legally. Poachers are rare, but do make it onto the land occasionally. You can have as many lions that you own in this roleplay as you want. SUB MALES CAN BREED! YOU CAN START RIGHT AFTER YOU POST YOUR CHARACTER SHEET! YOU DONT NEED TO BE ACCEPTED! _________________________________ Ranks Roles For Midnight Pride: King: Leads the pride with his mate, the Queen. Makes all the important decisions and war movements. He may kick out of accept any lion or lioness into the pride. Shujaa. Lead Queen: Leads the pride with the king, she has all the same power as him. There will be 1 lead queen. Frith Sub Males: helps the King and Lead Queen with anything, they're the males of the pride Mfupa, Kondo, Tali, Caster, King, Lead Hunter/Huntress: Leads the hunting party that searches for prey and takes it down. Queen: The Queen's are the second highest lionesses in the pride. They are respected and come in after the King and the Lead Queen and the heirs. They are normally the first to breed. Emerald Healers: They are passionate for their talent in the healing touch. But when it comes to helping other lions they help. Unable to help their desire to heal. Healers are wise and full of faith, ready to help the pride in anyway they can. Sanura, Mala, Sakura, Hunter: Members of the hunting party that catch the pride's meals. Tamu, Thilva Cub sitters: Usually pregnant females or females that are nursing, they keep watch over the cubs Lagniappe, Aliya Trainees: Young lions and lionesses training to become Hunters. Judge, Kaz, Winter, Tamu Cubs: The youngsters of the pride Elders: The old, very respected members of the pride. Loners: males and females that dont have a pride or have chosen not to join one. Silvermoon, Red, Rose, fire opal, reeva, creek Remember these rules; ALL LD RULES APPLY • Please be respectful at all times, if you have any problems please tell me and/or anyone I make admin of the RP. • Do NOT kill of other people's characters or start fights without their permission. • Do NOT force a romance onto any characters without the owner's permission. • Any and all characters are allowed to have a crush, but please as the owner of the character. They might not like it. • I encourage any and all drama in the RP. Though when it comes to natural disasters or things of the sort please inform me, and we will make a vote as a group. (Please keep the drama in the RP, none of us want unnecessary fighting or fighting at all.) • Gore, is fine, encouraged even. When it comes to sexual content, just fade to black or go to PM's. Cassiel raised an eyebrow at Makeeio's tone. He pondered if this lion was actually prejudice or if was he just trying to get a rise out of him, either seemed entirely possible. Cassiel tensed when the male started circling, hating the fact it was harder to follow his movements. "Well I really needed the soak," He said dryly, only to blink at the revelation the land was cursed. "What do you mean by that?" The tigon rumbled, tracking his every move around him. He knew what this lion was doing- trying to bait him into doing something irrational. Cassiel knew better, but keeping his cool at that next comment was hard. His calm facade was only betrayed by tip of his tail lashing back and forth in irritation. "You'd best watch your words," He growled, "You have no idea what I am." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sanura looked at Phura and finished triple checking that all his wounds had been dealt with. "Yes he will be alright if he rests, he must not do much moving around until his wounds have fully healed" Sanura said. "Aww come on he can't be that bad" Kaz chuckles. "yeah they are the prides future so it helps to get to know them just as well as everyone else" Kaz purred. "I don't know if I'll be a great king but I'll do what I can" Kaz said as he followed Lakita back to the den site. Aliya peaked out of the den and smiled as Kaz returned to the campsite. Aliya stayed in the den not wishing to interrupt Kaz and Lakita. Instead she gave Ray a soft nudge and smiled at the cub. "looks like you'll get to meet Kaz today" Aliya purred. Frith huffed watching the loner finally leave before continuing on her way. Frith stumbled on an old familiar scent, one that brought back terrible memories. "Shujaa picked a bad time to leave, if that's who I think it is" Frith mumbled to herself before following the scent to a small watering hole. The lioness was older but she was never one to forget, as she aged she grew stronger and wiser she was the same height as an averaged sized male but not as muscular. @Mizuki's Main okay thanks! Do you know about how long it has been since the whole rouge war?) The sleek she cat moved past the overgrown grass, her muscles flexed beneath her fur. Narrowing her eyes she watched her old pride. Letting out a low growl she stepped forward with a young adolescent at her side, it was a tigon. Huffing softly she turned her back on the old pride and moved off to go hunting " Come one Star you need to eat." she whispered her voice was still just as silky when she was younger. 0 players like this post! Phura gave a small sigh and nodded her head gratefully. "Thank you Sanura." She said as she looked down Mifupa. "You hear that, you are going to be in your best for a while." She says as she licks the lion's cheek before adding. "If you try anything funny, I'll have to do the same." She held a smile but her tone told Mifupa not to try and defy her. She looked back at Sanura and gave a warmer smile. "He is in good hands thank you again Sanura." Lakita shook her head and smiled. "You don't know Rue." She said before Rue came running over to her. "And where exactly have you been, we were supposed to go train today and your here flirting with males?" He growled making Lakita look at Kaz with a *Told you* look on her face. "Calm down Rue, my life doesn't evolve around you. Besides if you could take care of yourself alone I wouldn't have to accompany you on every single outing you do." Lakita said as she pushed past the adolescent. Rue looked at Kas before giving him a look of distaste. "Please you can't be a heir, a lame lion with a weak backbone?" He said in a snobby manner before he turned to follow Lakita. "Lakita wait up will ya?" He whined as the two disappeared into the long grass. ((Rue isn't evil just arrogant..   ))Makeeio smiled as amusement shined in his eyes at his warning. "Yeah the lions here are doomed to die, never living a full and happy life. They are either attacked, go through some horrible phenomenon that causes massive deaths.." Suddenly he stopped as a familiar scent hit his nose seconds before hearing Frith. "Isn't that right your highness?" His said holding that sinister smile that let all his sharp and long teeth be visible. He looked back at Cassiel with a small wink. "What I tell you, instead of the king we have the queen doing his duties for him." He loved getting a ride out of others. He left the tigon's side and began walking towards Frith. "Where is your lovely mate?" He said in a someone threatening manner as drool dripped from his jaw. He knew Frith was a good fight and stayed just out of striking range. 0 players like this post! "Good thing I'm just passing through then," The tigon rumbled, not really believing the tall tales of mass phenomenons. However he could believe this land brought misfortune to most, considering the animosity between him and the lioness. Cassiel raised on eyebrow, still urked at the comment about his heritage. He narrowed his eyes at the tension between the two, quietly observing the new female. The tigon moved to stand in the middle of the two, not between them as he kept his distance, but into a better position to face them both. "She seems capable enough," He said, not really keen to get into a fight but more than capable of putting down rude, arrogant males. Makeeio only laughed at Cassiel's warning. "Okay half breed." He said as he shook some loose water off his fur. "Save your breath with those 'warnings' they have no affect on me." He said coldly as his claws dug into the very soft mud. He kept his eyes locked on Frith but made sure he could see the male out of the corner of his eyes. His tail swished behind him as he found a dark scenes of amusement in being able to get a reaction out of the tigon. "First we had those damn leopons now tigon's, next lions will be mating with hyenas. Disgusting the whole lot, but I guess easy mates are easy mates." He laughed evilly. He wanted to see what the male would do, he was itching for a good fight. "So Frith I see you got my calling card." Cassiel scoffed. "Makes sense when lions like you pollute the gene pool. It must be hard knowing a lioness would choose a tiger or leopard over someone like you," He said smoothly, holding back a laugh. The tigon glanced over at the older lioness, awaiting her reaction. What was the history behind the two? This male had definetly been trouble for the locals in the past, judging by his lovely personality and the recognition between the two. Tiki rushed past the lioness with a more reluctant Kondo following him. "We need to bond and work on our hatred for each other what is better for bringing lions together than hunting, my dude?" Tiki says before bounding off, the large red Smilus still seemed to carry the energy of a cub. Kondo was mostly tagging along to make sure Tiki didn't lose another fang going hunting for hippos again. Sanura bowed her head as a clear sign of respect towards Phura. "no problem, thank you for everything you have and are going to do for him, he needs someone like you around" Sanura purrs loudly before leaving the two alone. Mifupa looked up at Phura with a half smile. "don't worry I know I need the rest" Mifupa huffed. Mifupa could barely keep his eyes open. "besides I kinda want to live, I've got stuff to look forward too" Mifupa said. Kaz wasn't easily offended but he couldn't let the comment slide this time. While he wasn't going to fight Rue he did roar a warning after the lion. Kaz gave a snarl of discomfort before turning to make his way to the Nursery with a softer look on his face. Kaz hid his pain rather well though he knew he couldn't fool everyone. "yup Kaz is coming this way now so he'll be here soon" Aliya purred softly. "You see that lion with the grey fur and pale blue eyes? That's Kaz" Aliya said as she watched the prince approach the nursery. His movements were stiff and auckward Aliya could tell his back was causing him pain again. Frith growled lowly and stood as if she was ready for a fight. "this land is not cursed, you are a fool if you believe in such things" Frith growled her claws flexing repeatedly almost as if she was using the ground as practice for his pelt. "why do you care where he is?" Frith growled a deep rumble in her chest. "Makeeio you are not welcome here so you should get moving" Frith huffed. "Hybrids are welcome on my Territory however you are not, your farther must have been a hyena, you smell like one, act like one and apparently salivate like one" Frith fired back. Frith didn't know who this hybrid was yet but she wasn't worried about him attacking as he seemed to be a good soul. @Mizuki's Main okay thanks!) Letting out a low hiss the female stalked the warthog, her shoulders moved up in down as she lowered herself to the ground. Unsheathing her claws she paused her left paw was held up in the air, the warthog had stopped to look at the long grass where she was hiding in. It was now or never, letting out a loud roar she leaped forward and hit the hogs' backside before flipping onto her side, letting out a groan she quickly got back up and chased after the prey, her paws hit the ground gracefully as she ran after the hog. The lioness was running as hard as she could before she jumped onto the warthog and killed it with a hard blow to the spine, huffing she grabbed the dead animal in her jaws and went back toward the long grass. The lioness had forgotten she was still in her old pride territory close to the pride, moving into the grass she dropped the warthog and ripped out a good chunk before moving off to eat it on her own. Her body was relaxed all worries gone from her mind. Purring softly she shook out her fur and began to eat her food. While keeping an eye on Star who was tearing into the dead warthog and getting blood all over her face. Letting out a low chuckle she finished up and looked around and then to the sky "My dear I miss you and our cubs...you should have gone to the gave with me." she muttered to herself. 0 players like this post! ((Imma just hop in since I posted a sign-up already and yeah-)) Two lionesses were resting in some shade, doing some small talk to try and pass the time. One of the two lionesses seemed young, maybe around two years, while the other lioness looked a year or two older. The older female also seemed to be with cub, her belly resting comfortably on the ground as she lay sideways. "So Zianna, how's your day been going..?" The older female said quietly. The young female known as Zianna flicks her tail boredly. "I'm alright, Zizi. How're the cubs doing?" Zizi chuckles softly, grooming her belly briefly before speaking. "The cubs are just fine. Winter slowly stalked up on an antelope. After just crouching there, he sighed and gave up. Its horns were so sharp, and he didn't want to get hit by them. He stood up from the grass. "NEXT TIME I MEET YOU, I WILL SMUSH YOU LIKE SOME DIRT!" He roared at it. The antelope seemed unfazed and continued eating whatever. Stupid. He walked a bit, and finally plopped down in the shade of a small tree. What was wrong with him? Stupid antelope would've run, not fight. 0 players like this post! Like? |

|Harlow| 3 years 4 months| Loner| Mentions: None (Open!) The night black lioness’s belly presses to the ground, a low rumble escapes. “Really?! Right now?!” she thinks to herself. She had been tracking this herd of gazelle for miles now waiting for the right moment. Their scent had attracted her to this land and after three days she had finally caught up with them. She moves ever so slowly, looking for the weak or injured. She was too weak to go for the strong ones, but even a runt would do for now. Then she spotted the one. A plump female wanders off from the herd, clearly in a great deal of distress. She prowls closer and waits for the right moment. Too soon and she would get away. The gazelle, in quite some pain now, staggers a bit closer not noticing the lioness yet. So she takes another step, *crunch* “damn” she looks down, a broken stick lay beneath her. The gazelle’s head shoots up, but it is already too late and the lioness lunges and bites directly into the flesh of the gazelle’s neck. And then she stops moving. A clean bite. The lioness drags her fresh kill to a nearby tree and hoists the carcass up. No wonder the gazelle had a broken leg, she was quite plump and seems like she was going to pop. “A surprise snack” Harlow chuckles to herself. She lays in the tree, proud of her kill as it slowly drips blood down the trunk. Her eyes start to feel heavy and she finds her head on her paws. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Xythe stalked lowly in the grass. She had been walking all day and its still felt as if she had gotten no where. Did she see that tree before? Did she pass this rock a couple minutes ago? It felt like she was going in circles, and she was sick of it. She went to a nearby tree and scratched a long scratch in the tree. What was she even looking for? A spot to sit? A den? No, she didn't have a den or a spot to sit, but that was fine by her, for she didn't want to attract attention. She had probably been going in circles for days. She had only been drinking from small puddles and she mostly ate rodents. But she kept on going because she might feel better dead. 0 players like this post! Like? |
