Backstory(optional):There once lived a pride of lions, the king of this pride wasn't the nicest of beasts. My mother and the others in the pride put up with his ruling, for a reason I do not know. Anyways, he didn't show much interest in my mother as he always plotted to kill her but then he learned she was pregnant and he acted like he cared for her, in truth he didn't. He wanted her to believe he cared and he loved her, it was only an act to him and mother fell for it.

The day came for her to give birth to her cubs and the king was smiling in an evil way. Few minutes passed and I was brought into the world. I felt the licking of my mother's tongue as I mewed restlessly for her milk, she nudged me over and I happily drunk the sweet milk. My father didn't budge and just walked out of the den, I could hear his footsteps as he went away and I didn't like the way it sounded. Once he left I heard my mothers soft humming as she sang to me. Eventually, the next day came and I was laying near my mother and I heard the same footprints of yesterday, then I heard a shriek of my mother and a thud. I started mewing loudly for my mother but she didn't respond. I heard a cold deep tone telling me to shut it as I was lifted off the ground and carried out of my mothers' den and placed in another den next to another lioness who has given birth recently. That day he had killed my mother because of a selfish reason, She didn't have many markings as he would like.

The lioness who took me in as her own named me Onyx. I grew as my memory of my mothers' scent vanished and the only mother I knew was her. She taught me everything I need to know such as Hunting. My life wasn't as great as I make it seem, every day my father abuses me for dumb reasons and he doesn't care. The others just sit and watch him do it without stepping in to help, as I scream from the pain that is inflicted onto me. Eventually, I just gave up. I just let him do as he pleases to me without thinking, knowing no one is there to help. Despite all of this I am kind and thoughtful, I made a few friends with small creatures and other animals, just not the other cubs in the pride. They always call me names and never want to play with me but I don't mind if they hate me because I know there is hope in this messed up world we live in.

As I grew more I learned to see the world in a new way. I learned to never lose hope because eventually good will come out of it. I made a friend in the pride named Firepaw who quickly became my best friend and even like a sister to me. I let my other friends, a hyena, a Giraffe, and 3 rats, meet her. They seem to get along great and now we are all a big group of friends who sneak out to play with each other. Long ago I found this area that had a waterfall it was abandoned so no one lived there. I declared it to be my safe area to think and just get away from my father, I let Firepaw see it because she was my closest friend.

Years passed and I became an adult. I had many scars on my body from the abuse my father gave me but He was growing old and I knew his time was almost up. Firepaw always talked about this crazy Idea that I should become the ruler of the pride and make it something completely different, I didn't think it was a bad Idea so I Challenged my father and he just laughed in my face saying I could never be the ruler. I was angry and wanted to show him I could become a better ruler than he was, so I made the first move and attacked. Hours later I was hovering over him as he cowered down admitting defeat, everyone came out from their dens and cheered as I won and Became the ruler of the pride, Surpassing my father and making the pride my own way with my own beliefs. Now the pride lies at that abandoned waterfall with birds singing every day and the sounds of the falling water easing everyone's fears and worries that peace is finally here.

Backstory: Riaka grew up with a small group of loner wolves who tried to become their own pack for many years before falling apart with the death of their makeshift leader, RIaka's father, Monte. She was raised with tough love from the start, taught that she needed to earn acceptance through skill. Because of the values instilled upon the unofficial princess, she worked hard to earn the favor of her father, but never did. When her father died and the "pack" dispersed, she found shelter in shadow clan and became their skillful lead hunter.
Appearance: Riaka has deep red/russet fur with hints of black throughout her pelt. Her eyes are green and cold as ice.
Personality: Due to her bringing up, Riaka is an all-business kind of wolf. She has never considered having a mate, and would rather be her own leader. She is hard and serious, and her icy demeanor shows in everything about
her. She is not considered "nice", either, but her blood runs warm as any other wolf's, and she may be capable of softening.
Fears/Likes: She really enjoys the scent of sap, and sometimes rubs against pine trees to get the smell in her fur.
Other: She's not unfriendly when conversing with others on purpose, it's just the way she is.

Appearance: Light, sandy coloured wolf with dark brown and white patches. She has more soft, long fur. Her eyes are heterozygous brown and blue, her right eye being only half blue and half brown. Left eye is brown. She has a large scar down the back of her head to her muzzle. It curves slightly, stopping at her lip. Her ears are tipped black along with her paws and tail tip.
Personality: Very sassy. She is very independent and does not need someone telling her what to do. When she is alone with some she trusts, her softer, sweeter side shows out. Take her seriously or Karma with take her sweat revenge. How do you think she got her name?
