Dovestar’s gaze swept across the the group she had chosen for the Gatheirng. Dovestar walked over to the group and dipped her head, “Eat well. We have a long trek to the Gathering.” The cats nodded and began to eat some fresh-kill. She grabbed a mouse and began to eat.

CreekStar - F - RiverClan

CreekStar licked her paws and groomed herself slightly, before getting up. She informed her warriors that they should eat quickly before the gathering, as empty stomach's and many clans didn't mix. She herself picked a small mouse from the prey pile to eat, then cleaned her muzzle and whiskers. She then watched her clan mates eat and prepare, as well as offer the elders prey. She flicked her ear as she observed whom she would prefer to take to the gathering, and who would stay behind to guard the camp.

Dewberry - M - Riverclan


Dark blue eyes blink lazily as Swiftpaw talks to him. He tries to pay attention, he really does, but his attention is taken by Creekstar telling the cats who are going to the gathering to eat quickly. He stands up and grabs a shrew from the fresh kill pile. The tom keeps his ears swivelled towards Swiftpaw to continue listening to her speak. Dewberry hopes his silence isn't too offputting for the medicine cat apprentice.

Songpaw's ear twitched at the sound of her name. Wrenflight was calling her. Or at least she assumed it was Wrenflight. She hadn't been outside the nursery for long. "This is the perfect time for revenge," she thought. Padding towards the den's exit, she saw the tom waiting at the camp entrance. She walked up towards him and settled down.

Dovestar and the patrol reached the Gathering area and found Shadowclan already there. Dovestar nodded to her clan and they spread out. She padded over to Maplestar and dipped her head.

Wrenflight glanced outside the camping, letting out a sigh that caused a cloud of air billow from his mouth. Despite having a thinner coat, the tabby tom faired well against Leafbare, all he needed was warm fresh-kill. His lengthy tail flicked as he heard Songpaw approach, Seedfur trailing behind her. As the trio stood by the camp entrance he began to notice warriors slip out from the fern covered den. Hazelwing and Flamefoot approached them.
"We're here to help with the dawn patrol." Flamefoot stepped forward, taking the front of the group and flicking his tail to signal them to move out. The senior warrior would lead the patrol. Hazelwing and Seedfur fell to the back of the group, while Wrenflight and Songpaw took the middle.
"This will be a good chance for you to work on hunting." Wrenflight mewed, looking down on the apprentice as they walked through the forest. "Flamefoot, Slatesnout told us that Windclan border needs reinforcing. They've been taking our goldenrod." He waited for a response, but the ginger tom only nodded. He noticed the wound on his leg and realized it was infected. Wrenflight opened his mouth to ask why he hadn't been treated but kept quiet. There was no reason to stick his muzzle into someone else's business. The tom ignored the two she-cats gossiping about the Gathering and turned his attention to Songpaw. "So, while we respray the border why don't you try to find prey in the thicket?" Wrenflight asked, flicking his shredded ear. He had never had an apprentice before and knew he really had no say over Songpaw. He couldn't be that much older than her. Wrenflight was a new warrior and had only been to one Gathering with his new name. He was somewhat disappointed he wasn't going to the MoonTree, he would miss out on seeing his siblings.
