Ectopia Cordis means the heart is located on the outside of the body. I have thought about this for a bit and it would require new art (Im, not an artist so if someone wants to make a quick sketch of what it would look like go right ahead!) I picture the cub and or adol laying on its side or on its back. The mutation would most definitely be lethal, probably die within 1-3 months. I haven't thought much about the messages you would get though. If you disagree please say why <3 |

I have an idea! We have the nurturing personality, right? If your brood mother is nurturing and this lethal mutation is the only cub being protected, they could have a higher chase to live to adulthood (then they will live until 3 or 4 years of age). There could also be an “overprotective” personality meant to help with this specific mutation! (It could also help with “multiple limbs” and “Sirenomelia”. They could help with walking and basically pay special attention to these muties. In the end they will live short lives, only 2-4 years at most, but they would be able to see their world.) How’s that? 0 players like this post! Like? |

https://www.bing.com/th?id=OIP.qnmRZwppmSpRjxApOv4NyAHaDt&w=271&h=150&c=7&o=5&pid=1.7 It's probably look like this, not too gross. The turtles growth is very badly stunted, atm she's only the size of a quarter. The cub would probs be very, very small, Like, it's probably be a little small than a Harly? Possibly look like that? Newborn bean pose, heart out. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 17/09/19 @ 13:44:39 by 🌟Bright🌟 (#174627) |

disgusting!! fowl, how could you think of this-.... nah jk support also heres my idea- Day 1- as you strut over to inspect your newly born cub(s), {lioness} is gently cradling a small cub. upon taking a closer look, you can see their heart beating outside of their chest! Day 2- when you come to check up on the poor scrap, it's barely moving. there's little hope, now. Day 3- {Cub} has died due to complications of _______ i cant think of stuff bc im dumb so the last one is blank 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have an idea! Because its heart is on the outside, sharp objects could poke at it. So, of course, the cub would die if something sharp badly damaged it's heart So, how do we prevent this from happening? The all knowing watchful Broodmother. Normal cubs sometimes die if unprotected by a broodmother, so these lions have a very watchful eye. If protected by a Broodmother, the cub would live to 4-5 months! This broodmother pays careful attention to the cub and makes sure nothing happens to its sensitive external heart, making its death by damaged heart much less likely. The cub would still die though, at 4-5 months, probably due to heart defects/its heart weakening The effect, though, is that the Broodmother would have to keep a very close eye on the cub. Therefore, the broodmother who protects the mutated cub loses 3 cub protecting slots, making her only able to watch 2-3 cubs including the mutated one. Which means, only 1-2 additional cubs. Unprotected, though, a cub with the lethal mutation would only live to the 2-3 mentioned. What do yall think? Damaged heart would be very likely due to the cubs being small and closer to the ground, making their stomach area and exposed heart closer to the ground and all the possibly sharp, spiky, and hard things on it. 0 players like this post! Supported! We just had a puppy born with his organs outside and it definitely is quite the sight (I believe it was his intestines but same difference). Though I think it should be similar to cyclopia. Smaller and only lives for one rollover. @Winter not supporting that idea. Extrnal hearts are often stillborn or die very quickly. They can't function properly and without a vet it dies quickly in animals. 0 players like this post! Like? |
