| Scorpionstar | Female | 28 moons | Leader | SabuloClan | Gathering |Healthy |

Scorpionstar noticed an orange pelt in the corner of her eye, she turned her head and politely nodded towards the large tabby tom.

"Greetings, Finchstar."

Her greeting was brief however, as she was still speaking with Silentsmoke, and didnt want to be rude and dismiss the TorrensClan tom. She made a mental note of Hagstar, Finchstar, NPC1star, and NPC2star, as well as herself being present. The Gathering would start soon, and afterwards would be more time for sharing tongues among other Clans.

(Notice: Any late-coming leaders must jump in within the next two hours, if undone, you will need to wait till sharing tongues so that things dont get muddled!)

|Silentsmoke|Tom|30m|Deputy|TorrensClan|Gathering Island|Healthy|

"Pfft, I could wrangle a snake, I'm certain!" The deputy raised his chin triumphantly at the concept, although his skin secretly crawled at the picture in the back of his mind. He had a face-off with a few snakes every once in a while, and decided that it was his civic duty to put an end to the creatures (for the safety of kits, totally not because they creep him out sometimes). Honestly, they weren't slimy as some made them out to be, more of a smooth, leathery texture. Silentsmoke didn't dare eat them, of course. He wasn't that bold.

"But-" Now, it was his turn to set a few terms. "...If I bring it here as proof, you have to catch a fish here, so I can watch. And laugh." He briefly swished his tail to the side as a smug smirk grew across his features, allowing himself to sit back as he awaited a response to that. He wouldn't let Scorpionstar weasel her way out of that deal, if he did manage to catch a snake.

Yet, maybe he didn't think this through fully. But then again, it was likely all a little joke to brighten up the dark evening. There was no knowing if the leader was actually being serious with him, but knowing Silentsmoke...he'd do it anyways. "You're to blame if what I get tangled with is accidentally poisonous."

| Twigpaw | Male | 8m | Medicine Cat Apprentice | Palusclan | Gathering Island |Healthy |

While the codes, both warrior and medicine cat, commended peace, Twigpaw understood that all cats had their sins. Deep down, everyone had their own demons to scuffle with, it was just that some were uglier than others. Thus far, Mossclaw seemed like a friendly face, and his warm smile offered the young apprentice a boost of confidence that didn't exist earlier. However, it would take moons, perhaps even years, for the mottled tom to let his guard down. It may even take that long for Mossclaw to hear his voice.

His bright blue eyes took in every detail of the older medicine cat as he spoke. He struggled to properly hear his words, no thanks to his poor hearing, but he made note to pay attention to Mossclaw's body language. No- he hadn't seen this cat before, and it made Twigpaw a little uncomfortable knowing so little about him. The observant tom could easily read most, but so far, he had little to go off of for this stranger.

While he missed most of what the older tom had to say, Twigpaw's head immediately snapped up as the long-furred cat said his name. Yes! That was him! The seal point offered a small smile to communicate that Mossclaw was correct.

| Scorpionstar | Female | 28 moons | Leader | SabuloClan | Gathering |Healthy |

Scorpionstar rolled her eyes with a soft laugh, admiring the tom's pride and humour. She could tell purely by his expression that he was most likely regretting speaking up, especially since snakes can be quite the formidable foe to an untrained cat. She looked at the tom sceptically.

"Oh? You're so on, fish-breath. Perhaps we could meet here in two days from now? I'll catch the fish and you'll bring the snake. If you fail to bring the snake you have to confess your love to SabuloClan though!"

She couldn't help but add the last bit in, knowing how humiliating it would be if one, he couldn't catch a snake, and two, if he ended up confessing his love to another Clan. It was going to be an amazing time if she gets to hear the silly tom do such a thing. She would give Silentsmoke one thing, he knew how to make sure she couldn't sneak out of the deal

"Oh don't worry, as long as you don't go poking around under rocks you'll be fine, fish-breath."

| Mossclaw | Male | 75 moons | Medicine Cat | SabuloClan | Gathering |Healthy |

Mossclaw's ears perked when the small apprentice's head perked up, a feeling of triumph blossoming in the tom's chest.

"So you are Twigpaw!"

The tom couldnt help but smile a little, he had the urge to protect the small apprentice no matter what. Protection wouldnt be all too hard for the muscular tom, Mossclaw had fought in several battles before, he knew how to fight and how to protect. Even if Twigpaw was from a completely different Clan, Mossclaw had learned to embrace the medicine cat way of understanding all Clans. Although his old instincts of other Clans being potentially dangerous nagged at him, leading him to keep most of his information to himself. He frowned slightly, remembering that he was unaware of what Clan the small tom was from. He leaned closer.

"I know you won't reply, but mind giving any form of indication as to what Clan you come from, little one?"

Despite his continued attempts, he still could not catch a scent of any Clan on the tom's pelt.

| Hagstar | She-cat | 90 Moons | Leader | Palusclan | Gathering Island | 97/100 Health |

Hagstar furrowed her brow and tilted her head to the side. She wanted to hear HER cats. Not the annoying squabble of her enemies. Not that Palusclan wasn't one. A displeased breath emitted from her maw. They were her cats. She had status. Responsibility. And if there was any true justice in the world... Hagstar would rule the lemmings how she saw fit. And this, of course, meant she had to HEAR them.

To her displeasure, the sound of shuffling paws graced her ears. Another clan. At least the gathering would be able to continue soon. She stood and swayed her tail behind her, focussing her full unnerving attention onto them. Hagstar actually meant no hard this time. But everything she did was often met with suspicion. The molly couldn't see the cats. What was she supposed to do other than focus her senses onto them? Hagstar narrowed her eyes, annoyed that such a minuscule movement could affect how everyone saw her.

Nonetheless... the clan scented like Monsclan. After hearing Scorpionstar's greeting, she was certain of this fact. "Finchstar..." She said lowly, maybe in greeting. Finchstar was the only leader she felt could be respected. Monsclan was not her target of fear because of this fact. Some part of the vile feline admired his even leadership, and would take whatever news he had with... well a grain of salt... and a pinch of respect.

((I'll probably post Twig/Silent responses tomorrow, to not clog up the whole RP with my nonsense. :'D))

|Willowflame|She-cat|32m|Warrior|MonsClan|Gathering Island|Healthy|

She was probably the first warrior in history to fight to stay in camp and guard, rather than attend a gathering. Of course, it wasn't a physical one, rather a verbal disagreement with a handful of warriors and the deputy of MonsClan, but ultimately, Willowflame lost and she was forced to attend. She was one of their newest members, after she willingly left TorrensClan because of...darkening relationships with PalusClan.

She had to stay as far away from them as possible.

Ruddy pelt prickly in discomfort, Willowflame was as far away from the chatting cats as possible, and had even rolled in nearby mud to help her coat blend with her surroundings. She looked as suspicious as they came, but at that moment, gossip and snickers were the least of her concerns. The warrior sat on the outskirts of the island with her muddy self, tail tip touching the lapping cool waters. This thing needed to start and finish, pronto.

┆BirdSong / Bird┆Female┆25┆Rogue┆Gathering┆Healthy┆

Softly, leaning gently in her moves as she swayed about on her paws to walk silently across the ground. Her green eyes danced about the thinning foliage, stalking the gathering from a cover of plants where she stayed crouched and alert- no doubt that being caught would lead to punishment. Bird's tail curled close, shrinking her size.

Though there was a part of her enjoying the thrill of being here, at times she'd look right upon some of the leaders, curiously eyeing them and their clan members, their full bodies making her slightly jealous at times. Though nothing seemed to hold her emotions too long, as she couldn't gather much from chatting felines, the she-cat would have to wait for what she came for; current clan statuses.

It made picking off clans easier.

|Silentsmoke|Tom|30m|Deputy|TorrensClan|Gathering Island|Healthy|

"Two days to catch a snake? Now, I don't exactly have StarClan's powers in my paws, Scorpionstar." The deputy was fairly confident that, with time and patience, he'd be able to catch that snake to show off to her and get his way with seeing her go fishing. However, he wasn't exactly going to rush into the whole situation and get himself bit. He would have to pick the perfect target: nothing dangerous looking, but nothing pathetic. He wasn't going to waste his time on what was basically a worm.

Arranging a private meeting between himself and a leader from another clan felt...off, for sure. However, there was nothing wrong with forming strong relationships. In fact, TorrensClan might thank him some day, for making such an ally. "...I'll have your snake in four days. Then, that'll give you time to practice your love for swimming and fishing, hmm?" His grin was horribly smug.

Shifting, Silentsmoke kept that beam on his face as he faced the crowd of felines, briefly glancing them over to see if everyone had arrived. While he enjoyed talking, they had a Gathering to attend to. "Then, we'll see who the real fish-breath is."

| Twigpaw | Male | 8m | Medicine Cat Apprentice | Palusclan | Gathering Island |Healthy |

Was Mossclaw nose-blind? He didn't have anything against anything like that, Twigpaw himself struggled to hear. Everyone had their differences, and that was ok. He was very curious about the potential issue, and wondered to himself if he would suffer a similar fate. Did all the smelly herbs have an effect on you after a while? Or did your sense of smell sort of just...get weaker as you aged?

Oh! Right...Twigpaw went for a swim to get to the island, against his will. He swallowed in embarrassment, scolding himself for thinking about such thoughts earlier. The fishy waters had likely washed his scent away, along with the fact that the tangy scent of herbs likely masked his PalusClan-scent. Maybe that was a good thing...swamps didn't always smell the greatest. Sure, the occasional flowers smelled wonderful, but the mud...not so much.

Nervously, Twigpaw slowly turned and nodded in the direction of Hagstar. He didn't dare glance at her for long. She was scary, made his fur stand on end.

| Scorpionstar | Female | 28 moons | Leader | SabuloClan | Gathering |Healthy |

Scorpionstar couldn't believe how cocky the tom was, perhaps she should've chosen a more difficult task? Didnt matter now, she doubted he would catch a snake, even with four days. Snakes were intimidating and very tricky to get to without being bitten. She, however, was a bit skeptical on whether or not she was about to risk getting wet just to put the bold deputy into his place.

"Four days it is, fish-breath. We'll meet here at sun-down, how does that sound?"

She knew very well how strange it was for a Clan leader to meet-up with a Deputy from another Clan, she was sure her cats would not enjoy to hear of such a thing so she would need to do it in secret. Part of her almost regretted talking to the tom as now she was betraying her Clan's trust. She sighed softly and nodded to Silentsmoke before turning to the gathered cats.

"Now that we have all of the leaders here, we will begin the Gathering."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

| Mossclaw | Male | 75 moons | Medicine Cat | SabuloClan | Gathering |Healthy |

The large tom may have only been six years old, but having spent most of his life fighting and getting into scraps with other cats left him scarred physically, and with a slight limp. His sense of smell had also been damaged at some point when he had smashed his head into a tree branch after attempting to climb it. Either way, the tom still had a few more years in him before he would grow old and possibly retire, although being a medicine cat was easy enough to stay out of the Elder's Den a little while longer. Mossclaw noticed Twigpaw's slight nod towards the direction of a Clan leader... Hagstar. He visibly cringed at the sight of the she-cat and frowned. The vile feline had always rubbed her the wrong way, luckily he had never had to fight PalusClan cats as they did not share borders.

"I see... You don't look like a PalusClan cat at all, little one... Consider that a blessing."

The old tom's head turned to the sound of his leader, Scorpionstar. Had he not taken up after Tumblestripe's death, Mossclaw felt as though he would've stood a chance at becoming her deputy instead of Wildfire. Although she had made her choice, and he was just as happy being her medicine cat. He shifted around next to the other gathered medicine cats and got comfortable to watch the leaders share their news.

|Silentsmoke|Tom|30m|Deputy|TorrensClan|Gathering Island|Healthy|

Silentsmoke's eyes narrowed and his facial features hardened. "You're on, Scorpionstar." He accepted her challenge without a moment of hesitation, his grin widening before he once again returned his attention to the gathering. He was uncertain if his own leader had overheard his conversation with the SabuloClan leader, but it didn't bother him if he did. He wasn't breaking any rules.

"Better hope that the weather's warm in four days time, and that the water's nice as well. Don't want to send you back to SabuloClan as a shivering block of ice." The deputy chuckled to himself before pretending to act serious, like he hadn't been talking to Scorpionstar for a ridiculously long period of time.

| Twigpaw | Male | 8m | Medicine Cat Apprentice | Palusclan | Gathering Island |Healthy |

There was a PalusClan stereotype? Or was he just referring to the swamp-stench? Self-consciously, Twigpaw gave his chest a sniff when Mossclaw wasn't looking, only to be relieved that he didn't actually stink. Oh! He was talking about appearance. Twigpaw himself never noticed anything particularly unnerving about the way his clanmates appeared, save for...well, Hagstar. But if memory served the little apprentice correctly, the old leader wasn't even clanborn. To him, it wasn't fair to judge PalusClan off of the appearance of their leader, but he had little to no say in the matter. Particularly because he wasn't going to speak.

Ears perked, Twigpaw turned his head and eagerly awaited for the leaders to make their announcements. Unfortunately, it didn't appear that all of the medicine cats had made it, or at least not in time. It was a disappointment, as he cherished whatever tales they had to tell, no matter how daunting.
