OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. Jade smiles faintly at Dreamwalker's request. Something like relief shone in her lavender eyes. After chirping softly at the hatchlings, she looks back up at Dreamwalker. "Yes.. I'd like that." She replied softly. Her mood seemed to brighten slightly, and she smiles slightly, her tail slowly moving across the sand. Her wings fluttered slightly, before folding against her back, the sunlight making her scales sparkle. ----- Snowdream squeaked slightly when she was tackled by Colchis, and she bats her wings at him, and a faint breeze of cool air flew at him. She snorted as she rolled out from under him, but ended up with a face full of sand. She sneezed, shaking her head as she turns to her mother. She beckons Colchis with her tail, somehow signaling 'Follow mother.' with her stripes. Even for a very young hatchling, she was almost very accurate in her Aquatic already. ((Also, big plot twist thing:What if the baby somehow magically is alive by some unseen force? xD If not, then he gonna stay dead QwQ)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

((Yeah! Like, somehow being in the proximity of Dream and the Obsidian Mirror leeched some of the Mirrors magic into it?!)) Dreamwalker followed, wings dragging and his eyes set on the hiding place. What he’d used to watch Jade’s eggs was buried slightly in a dune, just to defend it and in turn, Dreamwalker. Colchis squealed, before digging his talons onto the sand and running over to the nearest sand pile, beginning to dig at the spot where the Mirror was hidden. 0 players like this post! North glanced at Sahara, "Shouldn't we..er..find somewhere more...habitable? I mean, we're in the middle of nowhere right now, shouldn't we find like a cave or something?" He glanced at the barren ground around them. The snow here was slush, not the wonderful thick layer of snow deeper into the Ice Kingdom. Swift had finally wrenched his tail out of Falcon's grip. ((Yeah! For now, imma play the hatchling (if he lives) unless/until someone else wants to play him :3)) Snowdream follows her mother, with Seastar not far behind her. She noticed Colchis run off, and she stops, looking between him and Jade. She chirped at Colchis in confusion, and bounds after him. They weren't far from her mother and Dreamwalker, so she figured it was okay, for now. She saw her brother digging, and decided to help, because what are little sisters for? ----- Jade noticed Colchis and Snowdream bound off, but since they'd only be a few feet away, she wasn't too worried. She inspects the ground around them, trying to find a good burial spot for the limp hatchling. ----- ~???~ The little hatchling could feel himself being moved around; carried by his mother, he assumed. But.. it felt off somehow. His mother felt sad, and he himself.. felt stiff. And so, so very cold. The limp black body suddenly gave a hard twitch, and started shaking. Dreamwalker yelped. “J-are! It’s MOVING!” He shied away from the body, wings flaring. Colchis burbled, uncovering the Obsidian Mirror, chirping. He nudged it, and sneezed “I don’t like caves. Jade felt the shaking, and looks down at the small, shivering body in her basket. Her eyes widened with shock and a faint look of fear. She lifted it with her paws, cupping the small body in her palms. "B-But how-..." She tears up slightly, and nuzzles the shivering hatchling with her nose, and holds him close as she tries to warm him up. ----- Snowdream her Dreamwalker's cry, and she turns to see the limp body of her brother.. moving. She realized he was cold, shivering, and she whacks Colchis with her tail, chirping a low, shrill sound. 'Brother!' Her stripes flashed rapidly, and she bounds towards her mother, climbing up her legs, then her neck, and onto her arm as she stares at the shivering body of her brother. She climbs into her mother's paws, curling up with the cold body and trying to keep him warm. ----- ~???~ He could feel his mother's shock and fear, though he didn't understand why she was feeling that way. He heard Dreamwalker cry out, and sensed him shying away from them. Suddenly.. he felt a spot of warmth next to him, and he automatically snuggles into, chirping weakly. ((I is happy now. The bab lives QwQ)) ((Edit:Also, i found a pic of what Colchis more or less looks like. It's an adult, but it was the closest I could find :'3)) 0 players like this post! Colchis tumbled over, creeing happily. He jumped into the basket, and dropped his wings onto her sister and little baby brother, chirping. He looked up at his mother, flapped his wings, and chirped, pointing his wings at the darkening sky, then back at his brother, stripes flashing rapidly ina crude imitation of ‘Pitch’ Sahara snorted, and inhaled. She let loose a jet of flame, rubbing her talons to keep warm. Blizzard came up behind Solstice awkwardly. “Q-Queen Solstice? Jade smiles slightly, appreciating the fact that her dragonets were trying to help their baby brother keep warm. She glanced at Colchis, who was imitating 'Pitch' with his scales, and looking at the sky. An idea formed in her head, and she smiles again. "We're gonna call him... Pitch." ----- Snowdream chirps at her baby brother, who would chirp back weakly. She flashed her stripes a little, imitating the sign for 'Ok?' as best she could. She nudged Colchis with her snout, using her wings and head to ask for help to keep him warm. Then, as if on cue, she culrs up beside Pitch, Curling her tail, which was a bit longer than her brother and sister's, around her baby brother. She then promptly opens her mouth, blowing soft, weak flames onto him to warm him up without burning him. ----- Pitch squeaked as he felt the pleasant heat hit his black scales, and he makes an odd purring sound, feeling warmer with every second. When his sister asked 'Ok?' with her scales, he did his best to answer yes. Pitch, feeling pretty warm now, felt very much content. He snuggles closer to his big sister, and chirps softly at her. Then.. his small eyes fluttered open, and looked straight at Dreamwalker, who was a few feet away. Staring at the Nightwing male was a pair of crimson red eyes. 0 players like this post! "I don't know." She says honestly. Jade studies Colchis for a moment, before realizing there was something in the sand, not far away. She turns to investigate it, and the sparkle of some sort of glass caught her eye. She tilted her head, confused as to why there'd be glass in the sand. "Snowdream," She started softly, so only she would hear. She then spoke a single word in her daughter's 'ear'. ".....Fetch....." ----- At the word 'fetch', Snowdream leaps up, and bounds to the sparkly thing in the sand. She picks it up in her mouth, holding it carefully but firmly, and races back to her mother. She drops the thing into her mother's empty paw, chirping proudly. Sitting in her mother's talons was the Obsidian Mirror. ----- Pitch tilts his head at Dreamwalker as the Nightwing male started shouting. He frowns slightly, and on wobbly limbs, he cautiously got out of the basket, and onto the sand. He then proceeds to waddle forward until he was a mere 2 feet from Dreamwalker, staring up at him with curious eyes. His black scales made him look like that of a Nightwing, but he had two white teardrop scales on the corners of his eyes, and small patches of navy blue here and there, and Seawing-like spines. He chirps softly to say hello, his tail wagging slightly. Looks like someone has a new fan (*coughcoughDreamwalkercoughcough*). 0 players like this post!
