Backstory: Asha was born blind, her parents disgusted and embarrassed that they'd born a crippled lioness. Her mother was distraught. She wanted a daughter who was actually useful for something other than watching Cuba or bearing cubs. When she heard of a lone sorceress passing through, she was hopeful that she could get Asha's sight back. When she confronted the sorceress about her problem, the sorceress said that she could fix her sight, but with a price. Her mothers life. Asha's mother agreed to the terms and let herself die, hoping that Asha would receive sight. Well, magic it a fickle thing. Asha did receive sight, in a way. She was granted a Snow White raven to be her eyes. She could see out if it's eyes, but only it it was touching her, and even then, it wasn't guaranteed. She usually uses the raven to be her guide, following it's calls. Her father was distraught with the death of his mate and took his anger out on Asha, impregnating her on her first heat. She bore his cubs, only to have two of them die. The only living cub that made it to adult hood was Kifo.
