It's Starfruit here, the Owner of GTPAY! As you may have noticed, activity has fallen back for me on both the clan and GTPAY for a long time. Do to my decline interest in lioden and my increasing workload of my closed species, planning my future business, and life stuff, I feel like I cannot manage GTPAY on top of it. I love GTPAY and it has always been a fun community for me. I do love to share gifts and manage the giveaways/raffles for the community. Moderating the thread is fun- but sometimes not fun when someone breaks the rules constantly haha. I want to announce that I want to step down from being owner of GTPAY. But due to me not having anyone I trust and know that they can manage everything to transfer ownership to, I want to do an admin staff application to train for the owner role. The admins I choose will be training for a duration of a few months for the role of owner. Once I end up choosing the new owner and the new owner settles down in their role, I will not be staying in the community and I will leave it...technically permanently. But- I can pop in once in a while to see how its doing. You'd maybe see me around if I go on LD to offer stuff for art and adopts cause that's the only thing I can use my LD stuff for. I will mainly be in the backend of things while the admins will be in the frontend. So expect the admins to be more active then me.. Here are the responsibilities/guidelines, and what I will/will not do Guidelines 1) This is not a competitive place. All admins have to stay respectful regardless of how anyone does. 2) You have to complete the tasks I give and if there is a deadline, ask for an extension if life gets in the way and you cannot meet the deadline. 3) It can be overwhelming and stressful to take on the role, so please make sure you can take on the work. If you need a break or want to step down of being an admin, please let me know and I will understand. Though, breaks will no longer be more then a week usually because...if you are the owner...you have no break- haha jk you can take breaks as owner but you'd still have to manage portions of GTPAY usually 3) If you were not chosen to be owner, do not get upset and complain why didn't you get the role. This will only get you demoted as I wouldn't want a new owner that acts this way. 4) When I choose the new owner, admins can stay or leave the role as admin. Responsibilities 1) Moderating the gifting thread and learning how to do it 2) Moderating the discord server 3) The basics like announcements, giveaways, raffles, activities, etc for engagement 4) I will throw random scenarios and how you would handle the situation 5) I will give you all tough challenges like moderating the gifting thread alone for a week to see if you can handle it. Because if you are the owner, sometimes you have to do things alone for a short or long amount of time. Don't worry, everyone will get their turn on that, no one would be able to avoid it haha. What I Will Do Basically Backend stuff 1) I will be able to help give you advice and tips if you need help dealing with a situation in the gifting thread 2) I can help provide some items or currency for raffles and giveaways 3) I can give advice on what you can do better or what you should so next so you can learn. 4) Teach you on how to update the spreadsheet for rule breakers 5) Training/watching the the admins closely and be present in doing so What I Will Not Do Basically Frontend stuff 1) Moderate the gifting thread and discord server 2) Create announcements (Unless if I have to), and raffles/giveaways 3) Update the spreadsheet for rule breakers 4) And anything related to actual "work" for GTPAY ------------ Admin Application for GTPAY You must be 18+ to apply and have a discord account CLICK HERE ------------ The Admin Applications will be open for a while, I have no set date because I don't know how many will apply. But if I get a good amount of applications, I will choose an end date. I'd keep you guys updated. Thank you all. It has also been less then 4 years and I'm glad it has grown into a welcoming community. I have invested and put in so much time in GTPAY, struggled and faced countless rule breakers. But through all of these experiences, I will have forever lasting memories of GTPAY. I will always be the owner in my heart. It's time for me to step down once I find the perfect fit for the new owner. Thank you, GTPAY members and all current and past staff members.
