Coal was already batting at the feathers sticking out of Fang's mouth
"THANK YOU KUHLE!! YOU SAVED ME FROM BEING BOREDDDDD TO DEATH BCUZ MY BROTHER IS BORING AND WONT PLAY WITH ME" Coal wiggled her haunches and leapt across the den, landing straight on her brother's tail.

"HEY!! That's not nice! I'm not boring im just not as annoying as you!!"

Fang waved her tail in apology as she lead the bickering cubs out of the den.

Clea padded into the cave, with a smaller lioness by her side. She looked around for the lioness, and called out "Hello! This is Echo, who we have adopted from a shelter. We would like to let you know that she has settled in well. I have come to see if you had any food to spare? Our lions are hungry, I am afraid. We have struggled for food for many days, it has been hard." She hung her head sadly, before looking up again and saying, "I am sorry I haven't brought anything in return to thank you for your kindness."

“Don’t worry about it!” Kuhle said, smiling kindly. She glanced at Echo, thinking for a moment. “You were in the Nyumbani shelter, right? My mother Khatiba is one of the broodmothers there!”
She turned, padding over to the back of the cave where fresh carcasses were piled against the smooth stone wall. Selecting a couple of the larger ones, she dragged them over to the visitors. “Take these,” she said. “I hope it’ll be enough, but feel free to come back for more if you need it.”

Ok roleplaying time:
A middle aged male arrived he was pretty big in size and in strength and he had a ton of colors, he said he was a 'smilus'. "My pride took a trip to a beautiful waterfall. But when we returned... all the buried food had been scooped up and eaten and our beetles were stolen." He bowed his head. "My pride is in need of your help.." "Im terribly sorry the king could not come, he is getting old and weak and the lack of food does not help."
"Thank you if you could be so kind to lend us a bit of food and beetles."

Two lionesses approach, one slightly exhausted looking yet proud with beautiful black patchy fur and milky white eyes, and the other with a striking grey and black stroked coat, with piercing emerald eyes and an expression seeming regal and thoughtful despite her clear desperation. They come up to you, appearing unsure and ready to be sent away.

"I am Char", the green-eyed one says, "and I have come to request a couple of things that I hope you are able to give. My pride is looking to help out with the adoptions, and to create a safe place for any cubs or adolescents that are looking for a home, but we are unfortunately missing some of the materials needed to do so. As ashamed to say this as I am, I am in need of some silver beetles, as my pride has none to spare, or whatever you can give. Also, one of my fellow pride members is to be the adoption broodmother and "mascot", and Phoenyx, my pride leader, wants to have a comforting and kind lioness as the chosen broodmother. I understand that what I am looking for is expensive and hard to find, but if possible I would love to get any applicator, and any of the following: body paint or war paint, sudan cheetah, fluttering eyelashes, frozen branches, lapis ornaments, night vapour*, or susurrus. I respect and understand if your choice is to not give these items, but it would be greatly appreciated and would speed up the process of creating the adoption cave, plus Phoenyx is in need of any breeding items or applicators."

At this point Char and the blind lioness have sat down and relaxed their defensive postures a little. You notice that Char keeps on glancing at the the other lioness, who's name you learn is Shade, as if she is worried that she will be in danger, or even dangerOUS... Seeing you look curiously, Char sighs and starts to explain.

"Shade was ambushed by poachers about a year ago, and she was blinded during her escape, and is becoming deaf in her old age. She was the mother I never had, as I was found by her during a hunt after falling into the river during a storm and almost drowning. One of the jobs for the second and third broodmothers is going to be searching the harsh areas for orphaned or mistreated cubs, and taking them in. Some of us in Phoenyx's pride were abused and starved before he found us, and we are forever grateful for his care and kindness. But because of Shade's condition, she is prone to lashing out if something startles her, whether it is a rambunctious cub or even a leaf! We think she is living her last days, so I am here to keep her safe and happy." Char now has a sad yet reminiscent look on her face, remembering the times that Shade would be there to protect her and keep her warm. "This is all I need for now, and although I would greatly appreciate it if you were able to provide the needed things, I understand that there isn't and endless supply of resources. I hope you and your pride stay healthy during these challenging times."

Also, in case it wasn't obvious, I am opening an adoption center!

EDIT: oh damn i didn't realize how much i wrote!!! . In case you can't find em, these are the things I need, with a * for the most needed. SB*, any apps*, body/war paint, sudan cheetah, fluttering eyelashes, frozen branches, lapis ornaments, night vapour* and susurrus. I will also make sure to donate SB and items soon, I just don't have the funding for these right now as I am saving up and don't have any food(don't need any, just have to clear out my den)

Slowly an older lioness would enter the cave, dipping her head in greeting. Queen Daichi was adorned with all sorts of feathers and shells that jingled slightly as she walked. A rather ornate looking headdress of feathers rested upon her head. Behind her was a younger lioness with gray-blue fur as she followed behind her mother carrying some bundles of toys.

"Greetings," Queen Daichi spoke politely. "We've brought gifts of toys to add to the stockpile for young ones." The lioness paused for a brief moment before continuing,"But we also come to ask for aide. A recent drought has plagued our lands, leaving us with very little to make nests out of for the nursing lioness, elders and cubs . If you have anything we could use, we'd be incredibly grateful."

Chisimo, her daughter sat down some of the toy bundles on the ground, out of the way for the lioness to move and sort as needed.

Hey... dont know if I can put this here. SO anyway.... I keep forgetting to feed my lions and I was feeding them yesterday but I got distracted lol. AND NOW ALL OF THEM RAN AWAY... kinda stupid right?!?!?!
I need quite a bit of SB to get them back... :(
So I know this isn't a requesting thread, but since this is the stockpile, I thought maybe I could ask for some help here?
It would be nice if anyone wanted to send just a bit of SB my way.

(Oh heck I just saw this because I wasn’t active for most of the weekend! How much do you still need? The clan doesn’t have a ton of money but I’ve been through that and I know how much it sucks so I want to do whatever I can to help.)
