He then trotted away to reclaim his lost lionesses.

a spotted, snow leopard-esque adolescent lioness trotted into the den, intent obvious on her mind. "hello!" she called out. "i come from the pride of a thousand moons. i hear you give out certain items to benefit prides..?" she smiled respectfully at the lioness. "i have been looking for a certain item for a while now, a rainbow sarong. perhaps you have one? and my pride is in need of herbs for our...beetles.." she said, disgust vivid in her tone. "a few uzara or water root, two or three, should do. if you have neither of these items i understand."

A new young king trotted toward them. He sat back, staring around them. He was blue and but with orange coming from him like a flame. He nodded slowly. "I am looking for some of those silver beetles." He said with disgust and shame he needed help. He padded foward. "We only have 300 silver beetles. Do you have any to spare?"

Ambercry padded weakly into the clearing where Kuhle lay. Her body weak as she tread forward. Her scars glistening in the light. "Greetings Kuhle. I am Ambercry. I lack knowledge and the energy to travel much. Ini, my dear friend and pridemate came before me. I need something to keep me warm, some beetles to convince my friend to return and possibly a new friend for Ini. If you could help me I would be forever greatful young lioness." Ambercry said, sighing. She looked exhausted and like she wanted to join the stars soon. "I am aging swiftly.. as the moons pass I get weaker. The stars will take me very soon."

Kuhle frowned. “I’m afraid I can’t give you that sarong,” she said. A moment later, her face brightened. “I think we’ve got some roots for your beetles though!” She darted to one of the piles in the back of the cave, scattering dried leaves and roots everywhere as she dug through it. She returned a moment later carrying two water roots and an uzara. “Here!”

Nodding, Kuhle ran off and began digging in a shadowy corner of the cave, unearthing a huge stash of beetles. She scooped up a pawfull and dropped them at the visiting king’s paws. “That should be about two hundred,” she said. “I hope it’s enough”

“Oh yes, I remember Ini,” Kuhle said. She considered Ambercry’s request. “I can’t help with all of that, but I can give you the beetles.” She padded over to the pit of silver beetles and grabbed a mouthful, spitting them out at Ambercry’s paws. “There you go!”

Ini stepped into the clearing, her belly swollen with her unborn cubs. "Hello dear... Ambercry... She has fallen very ill. I'm afraid she wound last much longer, I'd give it a few moons. She sent for me to ask for an animal companion to share her final moons with. Can you perhaps assist her? She has a sickness not one of our healers can treat. If you can help.. please, do your best for our loving queen." She said, bowing respectfully.
