Midge had just dropped an adopted cub at his pride, and when he laid down to rest, it was only moments before one of the adolescents bounded up to ask of his journey... and asking if his mother had been found. He had shaken his head solemnly, as he found no lions on the way there. Another adolescent had padded up to comfort the first, and had brought up the topic of a wondrous place where they supplied kings with the proper supplies... even those to help find and reclaim lost pride members. Being a "I'll-do-it-myself" king, Midge got up right away to take care of it. Not long after, he was standing at the mouth of the cave, looking at a lioness surrounded by supplies. He dipped his head politely, and then said, "Hello. I am Midge. Is this The Stockpile?"

Kuhle dropped the mouthful of feathers she had been carrying, regretting it instantly as they were blown away by the breeze. “Yes, you’ve found the right place!” she said. “What is it that you need? I’ll see if I can help.”

Midge winced a little as he watched some feathers blow away, but tried to shake it off and refocus on why he came. "A few lionesses from my pride went missing the other day... I was told the only way to find them and get them to come back would be with 200 of those silver beetles. I wouldn't need too many..." he trailed off as he recalled the missing lionesses, trying to count the days they'd been gone.

“Ah yes, my pride has had that happen many times,” Kuhle said. “I’m afraid we’re a bit short on beetles at the moment, but I could let you know when we have enough, if you’d like?”

Icie quickly runs into the cave, yeets some silver beetles, and runs out as fast as he came in.

Midge smiled, about to turn away, "Yes, that would be--" he stopped short as another lion darted in and out with beetles. He sat there, stunned.

Fang padded in quietly. "Hello. My pride is quite small food-wise, do you think I could borrow any? All that gross rabbit meat rotted already."

Ini, a young broodmother padded into the den, bowing respectfully to Kuhle. "Greetings kind lioness, my Queen, Ambercry lacks a few things important for her heir and sent me to ask if you might be able to provide any of these items? Ambercry needs Lion meet, as she wishes to produce a mutated cub to be her heir. She also needs a Hornbill Majordomo from one of her very troublesome and weak cubs. She needs One other item, a Roasted Lamb so she may hunt and explore to recruit more lionesses to help hunt for her." Ini said, respectfully bowing. Her tail twitched in anticipation of the lion's response. "If you cannot provide these items I understand. Ambercry would have came here if she could to say it is alright." She said with a sudden note of kindness and understanding.

Kuhle looked startled at the pile of beetles the stranger had dropped off. Turning to Midge, she said, “Well, now we have some! How many do you need?”

“I’m afraid we don’t seem to have any food at the moment,” Kuhle said with a sigh. “I could let you know when we get some, though.”

Kuhle considered the request for a moment. “Two of those things I cannot help you with. We do have a Hornbill Majordomo though!” As she spoke, the bird flew from it’s perch and landed on Ini’s shoulder.

a rather angry looking female queen walked into the cave her gave flashing around the den suspicious as if every lion in the den would attempt to attack her and if she felt any lion got to close she would let out a deep warning growl and they would back away quickly. as she saw Kuhle she approached her, though keeping her distance. "are you the ruler of this.....area.." she said with a voice that seemed to have a slight growl behind it.

Midge smiled, and turned back to face her. "Not many... 200?" He went back to thinking, trying to calculate the amount, "No more thank 500 will be necessary.. however much you can supply," he said at last.

Before the beetles could crawl away, Kuhle scooped up a pawfull and tossed them to Midge. “That’s about 400, I hope that helps!”
