The healer, Your Song, comes to the cave. "You have to let me see him" she says firmly.
"Don't touch him!" he roars. He puts his head back down on Alan's back and closes his eyes, trying to purr him to life. The healer nods, and a few strong pride members hold him back while she tends to him. His breathing levels and he seems a little more there. They back away quickly and Latte goes back to where he was, begging him to just wake up.

she walked into the cave where latte sat over alan, she layed the flower on the ground. "i am sorry,i shouldn't have got you to join the war." she said crying. she started to sing (don't judge me) "Look at the stars/Look how they shine for you/And everything you do/Yeah they were all yellow." as she sang blue light went from her body into alans healing him with powers only gods could have

"This is my fault, not yours" he mutters. Woe comes to Zelie, and nuzzles her gently.
"He's always dramatic, the healer says he will be alright but weak. Dad just needs time to process" the floppy little dude says with a little smile. "You have god children to take care of; don't worry about him and his nonsense. He's had a shock."
The pride brings her some gifts for her part in saving thier home, and walk her most of the way home just in case.

A few days later, Alan awakes with a start. Latte slaps him; "You scared me! I thought you were dead!" he says in a shocked, quiet voice. "I could never leave you, who would stop you making the entire globe hate your guts?" Alan laughs back. He had suffered some internal injuries, but with time and being careful he would heal somewhat. "We have to go together" Latte sighs.
"We will, babe. We will" Alan says back with an eye roll.
