Clouds of black fog
Thick nefarious shadows
Serpentine stains of vermillion sin
Lurking, stalking, roaming, creeping
Svengali spirits flow in the air.

With quiet steps and cautious eyes, the lioness walks.
Her duty she must carry out for this month of Oct.
Grace, dignity, ferocity controlled,
Her mission is timeless, one sung of old.

She stalks through your pridelands, seeking those forgotten,
Her path is not clear, as if untrodden.
Her eyes spark when she sees you from afar,
She carefully makes her way to you, her jaws ajar.

“The Voyager! The Voyager!”
She cries out loudly,
An aspect of her tone rings quite proudly.
“She has come! She has come!”
Waves of light and hope crash outwards from her soul,
Joy in her eyes as she regains her control.
She bows her head, respectful of your presence.
Joyful spirits fill your mind with a kaleidoscope of effervescent luminescence.

“The Voyager is near,” The lioness reminds with excitement.
“To bring good spirits to your pride and to- Oh look! Shes here!”
Her words interrupted, the young lioness turns back.
Gazing at the figure standing behind her, her head receives a firm smack.

“Courier!” The terribly deep voice rumbles,
“Respect you must have, we are guests.” She grumbles.
“These pridelands are not ours, you know not their ways.
For all you know, they may not have been counting the days.
I am not known by all, I am but a humble servant.
To the earth and the rocks, to everything observant.
You must not hold me on a pedestal so high,
I do not reign with deities in the sky.
Much to learn, young one, you certainly have.
But for now, my child, feel the Spirit of Nav.”

The Voyager then focuses her gaze to you.
Her eyes shine like twin purple moons.
Her spiritual presence can be felt, rooted deep in your soul.
Reminding you that you are not the only one with stories untold.

At first merely crepuscular, the light of the spirits around her seemed.
Until it builds to an epiphany of celestial brilliance,
Trickling, surging, radiating in the brightest of beams.

The sparkling spirits around her flare to a near-blinding blaze,
Holy euphoria shines in her gaze.
Humility shifts her expression and she dips her head,
Thousands of words left unsaid.

“Im sorry, your honor, for the rashness of my youth.
She is still in the process of learning the truth.
This October we are traveling pride by pride,
Seeking to find what help we can provide.

“I am The Voyager, though you may not have heard of me,
I am here to bring peace and hope in these times of uncertainty.
Spiritual battles fill these fields with soulful blood,
Everything is at stake, the whole world and all our beloved.

“Rabies are burning through our midst like wildfires,
And many leaders of prides have turned out to be liars.
However, we have heard, through sources I trust,
That you are not filled with greed and with lust.
That you lead your pride with honor and dignity,
Thus we come here humbly to bid you our affinity.
And because of the fact that we heard word that you don’t cheat,
We also would ask, if we may, Trick or Treat?”
