This is an official clan thread for the Recreating Extinct RLCs Clan! Recreating old, extinct Raffle Lionesses Welcome to the thread where I'll be keeping track of my project to make a true, 100% exact replica of an old raffle lioness that is now extinct! Feel free to reply to this thread, I'll keep the most important info in the main post.
What I personally define as an extinct raffle lioness I've chosen to specifically try to tackle RLs that there are no breedable clones left of. As long as there is still a breedable clone around somewhere I chose to not consider that lioness as a target, even if the account with the clone is inactive. To me, bringing someone back that it is physically impossible to get a clone of feels the most impactful. If i know someone can log on and "ruin" all my work someday, it's less motivating to work towards. Click me to be taken to the breeding guide! I think you should definitely keep that as your final product. You could even label it as a modified clone! If you ever plan to sell clones of her, you could call her a modified clone of an extinct RL? I think that would get people super interested. You've done a fantastic job, and it makes me excited to eventually try a project like this too! (Once I gain a bunch more funds and end up retiring my future king) 0 players like this post! You could totally just stop and call her an "RLC but prettier". Modified RLCs should become a thing, for almost exact clones that are just a bit different while keeping most of the traits. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Congrats Quills! I’d definitely keep her for cloning, although it may not hurt to pursue the true noctis for a little bit longer. I agree that ebony is more valuable than noctis, and the two are really only a few shades off anyway! I’m still working on my extinct cocoa RL project on my side, but it’s still in the very beginning stages (only on my first project king). Wish me luck!! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ebony is almost always more valuable than Noctis, but in this case, I think Noctis is much better (and also worth more- clones will sell for much more if they're a 'revived rlc' rather than 'near clone'! She's definitely worth cloning but I think you should keep trying a bit more for another Noctis, since having one feature missing makes the value of rlcs plummet. I think you should keep her, try for Noctis, clone the Noctis and change the skin, extra eyes, etc. on that one, so that way you have an Ebony near clone, Noctis modified clone and Noctis full clone! 0 players like this post! Thanks for all the feedback! After sleeping on it and thinking it trough some more, I've decided this project is not yet done and the ebony cub born is not the final result. At the end of the day, my goal was to bring back true, exact clones of RLs that are no longer around, and give them another chance at life. Even if theyre modified to be better, thats not what I wanted to do, and I won't feel satisfied if I end it here. I'll keep going until I get the EXACT RL, no BO traits left out! ^^ I'm not 100% sure what to do with my wonderful new ebony cub though: even tho shes not a RL clone, she is still quite valuable, and a near clone (improved clone?) of an extinct RL (with a gorgeous G3 heritage I might add). I'd like to try and ask around and get a rough estimate of her value (feel free to reply with an estimate if you know what you're talking about), but I most likely won't do anything with her until the project is complete. I'll probably send her to my side account for freezing before she turns into an adult! Any and all suggestions are welcome, I'll keep on working on the project and hopefully return to ya'll soon with the REAL final product! So uh. the game is really trolling me lmao. Same thing happened again! full clone, but ebony instead of noctis. https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794169962600 Only difference on this one is non BO eyes and I messed up the rock salt so she didnt get clouded skin :') She is a little less valuable than her look-alike ebony sister, but still very unique. No idea what to do with her, so any suggestions are welcome... will keep going though in hopes of getting a NOCTIS base next time game. NOT EBONY. THANKS. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Keep going Quills, it’ll be worth it haha. I’m doing something similar with my project (bringing back the cocoa 06.01.2018 RL). Since she only has 6 BO marks and custom eyes and skin, I’m trying to modify some more BO traits and then have two lines of clones going (one modified, one true). But it would be pretty expensive to have THREE clone lines going.. as long as you can afford it go for it! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Wow, it’s been MONTHS! Have you still not achieved the noctis?? That seems discouraging to me lol. But it will still be worth it! For my project, I’m one king away from heritage replacing and breeding to NCLs for the cocoa base. Lucky for me, cocoa is the only rare base with BMC genetics (for now), so it should be easier.
