He heard the birds and the sound of a heavy set of wings and looked up, parrots and other jungle birds were up in the trees, he smiled it sure was beautiful. Dante sighed as he bagged out of the forest and instead made his way back over towards the farm, but this time he avoided the clicking chickens and started going towards the barn, he liked pigs as well as horses and wanted to see them. Merida knew about him being on her property so hopefully she didn’t mind him going into her barn, he only had to worry about her brothers which he only met one, though it wasn’t a full greeting. Dante entered the barn and fluffed up happily at the sight of one of the horses who was pregnant, he calmly went over and gently stuck his hand out to the creature asking permission to pet it. “Hello gorgeous, sorry to bother you, you were probably happy with your peace and quiet”

“That’s a beautiful name for her” he would look over at Merida and then back at the mare, he smiled when he felt her head touch his hand and he gently rubbed up her muzzle and back down to her nose, his touch was extremely gentle as to not upset it. With his height he was able to see over the stall and didn’t have to do any kind of reaching or straining to look at her, but he made sure not to make himself look intimidating to the creature. “How far along is she?”

“Oh, well she’s certainly a gorgeous girl, probably the prettiest I’ve seen out of all the herds I’ve flown past.. her foal will surely follow closely behind” He’d stop petting her after a while not wanting to agitate her as he knew pregnant women of any species went through mood swings, though his species were probably the worst of most species he’s ever met. He looked at her then at Merida and smiled, it’s good that someone keeps an eye on her often. “Who’s the foals sire? I’m sure you have a stallion that you use as a stud for your mares, right?”

Crypt shook his mane, his back tail fin shifting into hooves as he resurfaced to the banks of the water. He let out an unearthly neigh and stamped his powerful hoof against the ground, dragging his black tail against the ground as he slowly shifted to his land form, his massive figure casting a long shadow over the forest.

Merida signs and goes to lock the barn up all of the animals were in the barn anyways and the cows were over in the third pin so they should be good

The Kelpie flicked his ears, letting out a sort of wailing sound in return, not to be outdone by some wendigo. Crypt chucked dirt up in the air with his hooves, whinnying and moving through the forest, his dappled grey and black colours almost blending in with the dark.

Crypt gave an annoyed huff, stamping his hoof against the ground and giving an unearthly howl, lifting his massive head and rearing up for a moment to get a better view. The kelpie shook his mane, looking around for the source of the sound.
