He thought for a second before shaking his head, but then he asked, "What's a human doing so far out here?" Alary stretched his legs out in front of him. He looked upwards and let the sun shine on his face before accidentally looking directly at the sun, at which point he turned to look back at Harley. Patiently waiting for an answer, Alary played with a small stick that happened to be next to him.

Harley tilted her head.”i uh…I’m not a human.” She stated confused. She stared at him confused. She knew to some she would appear human she just wasn’t sure if he would be able to know that her kitsune was trying to come out, since there were some people that could detect that stuff.”I’m assuming you’re an elf?” She asked questioningly now staring with interest at him.

"Oh, I though you were." He looked apologetic. Alary played with the hem of his shirt, he didn't want to make the conversation even more awkward. He once again pushed his hair out of his face. He answered her question, "It's pretty obvious, isn't it?" Alary laughed quietly and glanced at Harley. He then picked at his nails, hoping this conversation will keep going.

Harley nodded with a small laugh.” I think the pointed ears give you away. And it’s alright unless she’s walking out and about I just look like a normal girl.” She stated playing with her hair talking about her kitsune in third person was something she did assuming everyone knew everything she knew even if they didn’t. She was sure Alary had no idea what she was talking about. She glanced nervously at him.

"The pointed ears give it away immediately." He smiled but then had a confused expression on his face. "Why are you talking about yourself in the third person?" Alary asked a bit confused. He never had heard someone refer to themselves in the 3rd person. Alary didn't want to be rude about it though, he just possibly made a new friend.

“Oh well my species is Kitsune. I sometimes talk about her in the third person because we are basically two different things.” Harley stated.”Did you want to see her?” She asked hoping he would say yes because now her kitsune was restless. She stared at him eagerly and waited hopefully for his answer. She played with her hair while she waited as she was still a tiny bit nervous. She smiled slightly hoping he would say yes.

“Oh, I didn’t know that! That’s really interesting!” He smiled, unsure if he should agree to the question. “I mean, if you’re fine with it!” Alary was both excited and nervous; he really wanted to see a kitsune. He sat up excitedly and waited patiently for Harley to answer. He gently placed the stick to the side to give his full attention to her. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen or met one!” He said excitedly.

Harley gave a smile before setting her sketchbook aside. “Alright ere she comes.” She say as she stood shifting into her kitsune as she did so. Her kitsune was white with nine tails each having a red color on them. She let out almost a purr as she stared at him eagerly. She was now nervous at what he would say or do. She didn’t want him to be scared or anything. After all she had just made a new friend and a nice handsome one at that. She pushed those thoughts aside as she waited patiently for his thoughts on her kitsune.

He gasped; he wasn't expecting that! Well, honestly, he didn't know exactly what he was expecting. "You look really nice!" He said it excitedly. Alary sat up slightly. He really loved how she looked. He has never seen an actual kisune. He smiled nervously but excitedly as he played with the hem of his shirt. Alary's eyes lit up as he took in every detail, the white and red on the tails in particular. He had never seen such a nice shade of red! "Can you control when you change like that? Or does it happen on its own?" He asked, "I'm still a little lost here."

Harley shifted back and smiled.”a little of both if I get too upset or angry she comes out on her own most times I can control her.” She blushed smiling when he said she looked nice. She wasn’t used to getting compliments from guys but she was happy he liked it. She played with her hair nervously as she stared at him waiting for a response. She laughed a little when she saw how happy he was. She stared at him before shifting again to see if he would be just as excited as the first time she shifted

He smiled and crossed his legs in front of him. "That's really cool! I never knew that!" Alary was shaking with excitement. He picked at his nails while he waited for Harley to say something else. His eyes lit up once again when she shifted. "You often do this to random strangers?" Alary asked, genuinely curious. He uncrossed his legs and waited for an answer from Harley. He did wonder if she lived around here or was just visiting.

Harley shook her fox head no before shifting again.”No but..you don’t seem like everyone else I’ve come across.” She stated with a small smile.”Normally I’m grumpy and mean as some people call me but you…you seem different and more nice than everyone else I’ve come across.” She sighed for a moment.”Some people see kitsune as nothing but sly, wicked, mischievous creatures, while some see them as good luck or good fortune. I used to be in my kitsune form a lot before people started following me around like a bunch of weirdos saying I’d “give them good luck”.” She stated with a laugh. She could definitely tell that Alary wasn’t like everyone else when she first came across him, most people came across as rude or too pushy but he seemed kind and nice and she liked it.

"I never really heard much about Kitsunes other than that they just existed," he said. Alary never knew much about Kitsunes, and he never chose to read anything about them. Harley definitely made him want to; he thought of places where to get correct information. Maybe he would ask Harley herself. "I did hear many mixed opinions of them; many people do dislike them, yet some want to feed on their possible luck." He huffed; even thinking of it made him mad, especially since meeting Harley. So far, Harley seemed like such a genuine and kind friend; he would love to talk to her even more!

Harley smiled.”Well I can tell you more if you want to know more.” She stated playing with her hair. She continued to smile obliviously as she stared at him. She realized she was staring and quickly looked away hoping he didn’t notice. She took note of his features and hair, face, ears etc so she could draw him later. She looked down at her sketchbook thinking about if she was doing to actually draw him or not she didn’t want to ruin any of his nice features. She blushed slightly at the thought of how she thought he was handsome looking and very nice to her

"Really?" He asked excitedly. Alary didn't want to intrude; he felt weird about asking Harley, so he was relieved she did, but he still wanted to make sure. He did notice that she kept staring at him and was starting to feel slightly insecure. He ran his fingers across the grass beneath him. Alary waited for Harley's response, and he softly hummed as he waited. He eventually got distracted by a nearby squirrel.
