She hoped he hadn’t noticed what it said and quickly closed the sketchbook

He smiled and sighed, completely content with his day already. Alary was a bit confused as to why she stared down at her open sketchbook, but he didn't want to ask too many questions. He also thought the way she quickly closed her sketchbook was a bit odd, but again, he didn't want to ask too many questions.

Harley stared at him for a moment before speaking again.”So where do you come from? Where do you live?” She asked now curious about what his life was like and what he liked to do and things like that. She made sure not to stare too long to make sure she wasn’t making him uncomfortable of anything of that nature. She set her sketchbook down on the ground next to her not thinking about it at that moment

Alary paused for a second before replying, "I live in that direction; my house is not a far walk from here!" He fumbled with his fingers. Should he be asking more questions? He was unsure; she seemed curious, and he didn't know if he could answer all her questions. Alary noticed her staring and thought he may have had dirt on his face, so he wiped his face.

Harley smiled." Where were you from?' she asked quickly making sure she wasnt staring again. She didnt want to intrude or make him uncomfortable by staring at him. Although she couldnt help it, he seemed so nice and wanted to get to know him more. She wanted to see all the features on his face so she could draw him better when the time came when she would draw him.

He froze a bit, this was a somewhat personal question so he'd lie. But it did make him feel terrible, "I grew up around here!" He smiled. Hopefully, this would make her happy and stop her from asking more question. "Where did you grow up?" He said, moving the conversation to her. But he was genuinely curious in general and about her.
