PRIDE Years ago, a young man and his sister Nolblin came across a large magical macaroni that said they would grant the siblings endless food if they were to bring him four key ingredients to make the perfect mac and cheese, eight ounces of sharp cheddar, THREE CUPS of whole milk, ONE-HALF CUP of all-purpose flour, and ONE-HALF CUP of salted butter (seasoning is recommended). The siblings agreed, rushing in all directions to find their ingredients. After three days of searching the siblings brought their ingredients forth to the Mac. But as the Mac inspected the ingredients, the powerful pasta became enraged, 'HOW DARE YOU' he shouted, smacking the ingredients away. 'YOU FOOLS THINK I WOULDN'T NOTICE? THAT YOU SUBSTITUTED SHARP CHEDDAR WITH AMERICAN KRAFT CHEESE?' The Angry Macaroni pointed accusingly at the siblings and cast a curse on them, turning them into lions. ' The only way for the curse to end is if one of your descendants may have more sense than you, and learn how to make proper macaroni!" CONFUSED KD The original king, KD had himself and his sister turned into lions by the powerful magic macaroni. UNTITLED BIG KRAFT The grandson of KD, when his time came to prepare his Mac n Cheese for the almighty Mac, the pride was appalled to hear he had used mouldy cheese, “people eat blue cheese all the time!” He cried out as the Mac cursed him to begin moulding from the inside out for the rest of his life.

PAPA KRAFT’S SUPER SECRET MAC N CHEESE

1 pound elbow noodles, 1/2 cup salted butter, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon minced onion, 1 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 3 cups milk whole, 1 cup chopped bacon, 1/4 cup parmesan, 8 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup chives chopped (optional)
Fill a large saucepan with water, and bring to a boil. Stir in the macaroni; cook until perfect. Drain well (you can keep a little bit of pasta water... as a treat). In another large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, onion, and mustard and cook 1-2 minutes. Pour in milk and whisk until smooth. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, for 3-5 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken. Turn off the heat and whisk in the cheese until gooey. Pour the cooked pasta into the cheese sauce and stir well to combine. Tell no one.
