EventWe've adjusted the event bars again to lower the amount of gifts and poop you need to unlock the tiers.Also, don't forget that the Advent Calendar starts on the 22nd of December! Hunting ChangesWe took the responses of the poll we put out into consideration, but decided that the best course of action would be to go with option 3 - to change it so that you have a choice to use either GB or SB to skip. The price for each time you skip starts at 1000SB or 1GB, and will increase by 100SB after each use. If you skip 10 times then the GB price will raise to 2GB to skip, a further 10 times will raise it to 3GB to skip. This will reset back every day, to 1000SB and 1GB. We feel that this was the most fair way to deal with the situation.In addition to this, adding hunting turns has been restored and it is a fixed 10SB per hunt per lioness as it was before. The Lion WardrobeYou can now import any male from your pride into the Lion Wardrobe to play around with his base/markings and decorations, and as requested (many times) you are now able to import your lionesses to the Lion Wardrobe! For the time being, we've restricted this feature to adult lions but we will be adding cubs (and cub stages) some time in the future.Some lionesses are already enjoying this feature...  New Eyes!We have added two new eye colours to the game - and you can get these eye colours anywhere. Newly claimed lionesses from explore can be found with them, or you can choose them as an option in the custom lioness/lion features. Or go see what they look like in the Lion Wardrobe!The colours we have added are Tan and Olive.  Raffle LionessThe last lion to impress a female here was Draconis Angelus Malfoy (#4467)! Thanks a lot guys. C: Balancing all the different kinds of gamers is hard, and I think this was the best solution for everyone. The other updates are nice too. Honestly, going to just put this out there since I feel I should say something. I have a large pride, so hunting is rather difficult and I did enjoy the 100sb skip so I could rush and hunt again and gather food at a much quicker pace so none of my lions would starve, ect and leave because of it. So my own opinion I'm not to fond of the hunting system. That's just me. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Oh right, almost forgot about the "advent calendar". Well, there goes my plan on taking a break from lioden next week >.< Guess I have to figure out how to maintain my pride, won't have time to hunt for them... It wasn't easy on your side, but thanks for bearing with us and your understanding <3. The new either SB or GB is a nice option and would be a nice feature for some site aspects in a whole <3. Yeah..... I can't be on constantly, so I guess it's back to maybe three hunts a day for me. Thanks oh so much admin team, for choosing the vocal minority. @ Lunchasbles- They weren't giving us the option to choose like it was a democratic vote. They were just asking our opinions. Honestly, I had originally mentioned feeding my pride in one of the last news posts as a reason why we should keep the skips, but after reading peoples comments, it made it evident that food is not the main goal. It's more of a perk to the stats gain, because it's such a gamble what you could get for 100sb. Most carcasses you buy are only 5-10sb a use. So unless you're getting 10+ uses EVERY hunt, this shouldn't affect your prides food that much. You can buy food from players, or even the food bundles would me more effective for feeding your prides. I think this was a fair compromise. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not sure why it double posted. But my point is that is an update purely for the paid players, and not a compromise. If it was a compromise they wouldn't have jacked up the price to skip to something the casual player can never hope to afford on a day to day basis. It isn't about food for me. It's about seeing a little bit of progress on my lions even though I have limited time. Thanks for widening the gap between players with limited time and the paid players and essentially strong-arming us to buy GB in order to show any real progress. 100% disappointed with this solution, but all I can do is accept it or explore other avenues. It was never a democratic vote, if anything, the staff opinions and the arguments in the thread influenced the final decision. The only people defending option 2 were doing it for selfish reasons, and/or because they never used additional hunts, and not arguing a point that would be beneficial to everyone on-site. Food availability is not a valid argument as you can buy food much cheaper on branches of other people c: The staff went back to something close to the original hunting scheme, which always worked for everyone. Skips are not a right, they are a luxury, and the same goes or stats. I hope everyone has a good holiday c: EDIT: Play to win is the POINT. No matter what you do, the more time and effort you put into something, the more you get out of it, it's just that simple. If you have other priorities, all power to you, but those of use that make time for LD should have a natural advantage, we put the time in. 0 players like this post!
