EventWe've adjusted the event bars again to lower the amount of gifts and poop you need to unlock the tiers.Also, don't forget that the Advent Calendar starts on the 22nd of December! Hunting ChangesWe took the responses of the poll we put out into consideration, but decided that the best course of action would be to go with option 3 - to change it so that you have a choice to use either GB or SB to skip. The price for each time you skip starts at 1000SB or 1GB, and will increase by 100SB after each use. If you skip 10 times then the GB price will raise to 2GB to skip, a further 10 times will raise it to 3GB to skip. This will reset back every day, to 1000SB and 1GB. We feel that this was the most fair way to deal with the situation.In addition to this, adding hunting turns has been restored and it is a fixed 10SB per hunt per lioness as it was before. The Lion WardrobeYou can now import any male from your pride into the Lion Wardrobe to play around with his base/markings and decorations, and as requested (many times) you are now able to import your lionesses to the Lion Wardrobe! For the time being, we've restricted this feature to adult lions but we will be adding cubs (and cub stages) some time in the future.Some lionesses are already enjoying this feature...  New Eyes!We have added two new eye colours to the game - and you can get these eye colours anywhere. Newly claimed lionesses from explore can be found with them, or you can choose them as an option in the custom lioness/lion features. Or go see what they look like in the Lion Wardrobe!The colours we have added are Tan and Olive.  Raffle LionessThe last lion to impress a female here was Draconis Angelus Malfoy (#4467)! Yes, admins didn't chose the decision the poll were asking them to choose. Because the admins decided to choose the decision that was the best for Lioden on the long term. Many players don't know how bad their decision would be for Lioden. Admins prefered to save the gameplay and the competition rather than blindly follow a poll's result. 0 players like this post! Aww, come on :C You've reverted it back to "pay-to-win" now. For me the "100SB a go" was amazing, because it meant that I could gather enough food for my pride even when I don't have much time to play. It's no use commenting about it now though, I guess. Sigh. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Akeruru: That isn't even remotely true, as has been mentioned previously in this thread :/ The current system is similar to the one it's always been- the skips are too expensive to abuse. Those that succeed spend the most time on-site and hunting their lionesses. Also, food isn't a valid argument for 100SB skips - it's cheaper to buy food bundles from the monkey, and often even cheaper to buy it off players. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I completely second Maulise here. The system has always been like this minus the SB option and it never was a problem before. Most of us hunt our girls without even using the skip option since you thought twice if it's worth to spend 1 GB on one stat point. It was the 100 SB skip that changed play to win into pay to win. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I dont understand why people are upset or why they think it was the worst choice possible. I assume the poll wasnt really what interested the developers but the opinion that was posted within the comments. After all, many of us told them there why we voted what we voted and explained our own views on the matter. Most of the people who wanted option 2 or 4 were those who are barely online, dont care which option wins in the end, and were those who did not see the whole picture, only caring about them getting their hunts in and that's it. Option 2 would have led to a frozen market and stat-situation. Nobody would have been able to catch up to anyone, only frustrating people who want to work on their lions to be on top. Sure, casual players who are barely on and dont care about the market all too much will not be hindered. Option 4 would have created the true 'pay-to-win' situation, as many seem to complain about the current system. Not only would be the skip hunt at an enormous price -like now- but also the adding hunts would be the same way. Those who are indeed rich could be the only ones getting more stats than the rest, and keep their positions. Let us not mention the new members who would find it impossible to advance. In the current situation, I bet I would count on only one hand how many people will regularly use the skip feature with it being 1000SB. It is just not worth it for regular use and abuse. On the other hand everyone can pay 10SB/ lioness to get more hunts in. That is not much SB, and is available for even new members because of its proper price. The skip feature of course is still offered but cannot be abused any longer. You can collect your SB and spend it on some skips later. So in my opinion the best choice was made. And I am happy with it. People still got the skip feature, although it cannot be abused anymore, and we got the feature back which enabled us to compete, although for a small fee which is also available for new members, and casuals equally. 0 players like this post! From what I've read in the past, the feature in the oasis is outdated and will eventually be removed as it'll conflict with GB sales between players, if that makes sense? Might be worth making a thread for it if it's of significance to you, though c: 0 players like this post! Like? |
