A few neat things!You can buy two new common backgrounds in Monkey Business, Grassy Den and Rock Formation!  &  Kill lionessDue to a huge popular demand, we decided to implement an option to Kill a lioness, under the Chase option. It will let you to murder her for a karma drop, instead of chasing off to the wild. She won't be added to dynasty, just permanently removed from pride. Remember that nursing cubs will die with her. Chased lionesses might be found as NCL's. Killed lioness is gone from the server. Killing is a very brutal move, that requires some struggle with the lioness. It will drain your energy by 5.  *edit* Before you call killing lions selfish, please REMEMBER that 2-3 months ago, chasing lionesses "killed" them. Chasing into wild is a new feature, "killing" lions was working on Lioden for 2-3 years and nobody called it selfish. We just call it Kill now, to separate from Chase. Updates~ You have an option to preview private messages first before sending! ~ 14+ Lionesses that are too old to breed no longer will display Heat status. Raffle LionessGood lord, Tamboo (#39640)! Summer's Eve: In explore, no, you do not kill the cub (unless there's multiple lines for it?), the [presumably] mother steps in before you can do anything. Unless, again, there are multiple avenues that that event can do. I'm not saying that 16+ year olds can't handle it. But why should someone have to "handle" something they don't like? I constantly see people saying that this is just an internet game, blah, blah, but what if for someone that means getting away from all the violence, etc they might see? The rest of the game at least gives options or does it in a different way. 0 players like this post! Like? |

People who find the features of this game offensive shouldn't be on here to begin with. Should we get rid off all the other features that depict killing too? Like that poor little cub in explore you can either play with, ignore, or KILL... Maybe even do away with all the hunting too. Think about the poor lil pixel herbivores your lion(nesses) just killed in explore or hunts today lol. This game is meant for mature audiences and if this "kill" feature makes you offended go play a "friendlier" game. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I believe you do kill the cub in explore and that is why you fight the lioness. If you didn't kill the cub then why would there be an option for it? As well as the fact that the Little Whisper decor states that the cub may have been killed exploring, making it presumably a cub you killed in explore. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Personally, I always believed the mother shows up After the fact. Pissed off that you just killed her cub. If you even had the option to kill the cub, that would mean you/your lion had the opportunity without mom getting to you first. And with how easy it is for a male to kill a cub, that'd happen in a flash before mom showed up. Otherwise, mom would be right there and it's likely the male wouldn't even bother going for it. But that's just my thought on it. I pay no emotional mind to it. All it is, is a battle fight to gain me experience. Nothing more. There's plenty hear that people wouldn't like. Again, Lioden has a discliamer for that for a reason. They made it 16+ for a reason. A child doesn't naturally want to see an animal die. But if they like Lion King and Bambie as a movie as a whole, they'll watch it again. Just as our players can continue playing a game with that small insignifcant feature that they're not forced to see or use. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm Pretty Sure if people aren't bothered by the list of dead animals in the hunting feature of lioden. With guts and blood.  I'm sure people can handle clicking this button that only has a graphic Bio  Also if this feature or this game offends your morals and religion... My main gripes with the killing feature are that users going for Evil karma get an advantage over those going for Good karma, and that it doesn't quite make sense. Why can our lion kill the lioness 100% of the time? Wouldn't she fight back and at the very least injure him, possibly killing him? It just doesn't seem quite right to me. 0 players like this post! The karma isn't supposed to be good. Much like killing the cub in explore, it's something bad that your lion if doing why would your lion get a karma gain? Also what exactly does karma do for a lion other than give it a title? Also male lions are a lot larger than the females they can probably easily kill them in the wild as well, and because this is a game it already takes energy to kill females. Why would we agree to a feature that has the possibility of killing a lion we worked so hard for to become king? I think the energy drain is sufficient as this isn't meant to be a realistic feature just one to delete lions from the server without having to slowly starve them or chase them only for them to become NCLs. 0 players like this post!
