A few neat things!You can buy two new common backgrounds in Monkey Business, Grassy Den and Rock Formation!  &  Kill lionessDue to a huge popular demand, we decided to implement an option to Kill a lioness, under the Chase option. It will let you to murder her for a karma drop, instead of chasing off to the wild. She won't be added to dynasty, just permanently removed from pride. Remember that nursing cubs will die with her. Chased lionesses might be found as NCL's. Killed lioness is gone from the server. Killing is a very brutal move, that requires some struggle with the lioness. It will drain your energy by 5.  *edit* Before you call killing lions selfish, please REMEMBER that 2-3 months ago, chasing lionesses "killed" them. Chasing into wild is a new feature, "killing" lions was working on Lioden for 2-3 years and nobody called it selfish. We just call it Kill now, to separate from Chase. Updates~ You have an option to preview private messages first before sending! ~ 14+ Lionesses that are too old to breed no longer will display Heat status. Raffle LionessGood lord, Tamboo (#39640)! You seem to have the biggest chest this raffle lioness preferred snuggle into! Next lioness is waiting in the Special Lioness area in Explore or in NEWS section under the news post list. See, this is my issue: in-game, your lionesses kill ten or so prey animals daily, and then drag their carcasses back to the den, bellies gaping wide, and stuff them in a corner somewhere until such time as they feel like eating them, or selling off the remains to other lions, or to a weird-ass monkey (and do I want to know what he does with them? No. No, I do not). Or you go out and buy carcasses from someone else who sent their lionesses off killing so you wouldn't have to. But the prey animals are dead either way. #omgBambi And yet no one is pissed off about that. I find this puzzling. As an alternative to people wishing to get rid of lions w/o MURDERING THEM OMGGG or having the colors/whatnot show up in explore -- I think that if you chase adols off before they hit two, then they disappear from the server, like they all did a couple of months ago. I breed for myself, mostly, and I can usually tell by two if I've got a better option coming along somewhere - so most of the things I chase are adols or lionesses over 10 or so. Dunno if that would work for anyone else, but it's something else to consider. I love the negative karma hit, but the energy loss will probably keep me chasing stuff instead. Yeah, well, not for nothing but the Original reason why this extra button was practically begged for was because we just wanted the Original chase system back. They were mostly deleted from the server and some went back in as plain, unrelated NCLs. That's all we wanted. I, for one, didn't vote for the karma "punishment". It was a suggestion that I guess the staff happened to like. And for the love of god, it wasn't meant to favor people who like bad karma titles and such. Not many people liked the karma idea. So hate on the karma punishment, and not the kill. The killing desire had nothing to do with karma and was only mentioned to appease those who were whining about killing be a bad thing, as if we never used to do that >.> Besides, Xylax is coming out with a good one too. It's so friggin annoying hearing all the whining about how selfish the killing option is, when it was the Main system for Years. It's additional to your preferred freeloading. Why is it so rare for people to actually never complain? If I don't like something, I grumble to myself and move the frig on. If I don't like an entire month's event, guess what? I don't participate! Wow, so hard to just accept things... How about thanking the staff for trying to help both head butting sides to this game? Or just not say anything? I like the Killing feature, but I only use it as a last resort type of thing. Earlier today, i had cubs and adols that just wouldn't sell and were taking up space and food, so i did "kill" them. They were of no use to me and of no use to anyone else apparently. Also, i figure people will be less likely to chase older lionesses with this feature available. It's so disappointing to find a GORGEOUS lioness in explore only to find that she's 13+ years old... I found one on my side account that was impossible to pass up and used my GB's to get her instantly only to find out that she was 12... so i feel like i wasted my GB's on her, but at least she got a new home out of it i guess.. So, in my opinion, the "Killing" feature is a good thing game-wise. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I do NOT understand why every update causes a frenzy of players whining and whinging and carrying on about it. This game is FREE. This game is AWESOME- richer players are on an equal to those of us who cannot 'buy' GB but have to work for them by trading objects, lions, or food for them. The Karma doesn't DO anything- it gives you a title. Seriously, calm your chesticles. I have a good lion on my account and a bad lion on my side account. I play differently on each account- I am over 16, as EVERYONE HERE should be. I am whatever religion/spirituality/morals system I want to be in Real Life, as EVERYONE SHOULD BE. My LioDen accounts/actions are mine, but *I* am not LioDen. Get it? You can play games how you like, even in opposing ways, and it is not YOU as represented by every little click you make. Now, you cranky people go take a nap, and you happy ones keep saying what i came here to say: THANKS LioDen!!! We aren't adding features based on amount of supports. We already told you guys it's not a democratic voting board, it's a feature to tell us about your ideas. We think about ideas, if they're good, we'll add them fast, even if they have 10 supports. It's about benefiting the game, or the complexity of the suggestion (aka able to code fast after new years while we're doing a big thing on the side meanwhile). After a LONG thinking (two months, yeah?) I came to conclusion it's basically going back to the way it was before as an OPTION but I thought, there should be a tiny replenishable price for it (energy and karma), hence I agreed with the suggestion - Killing is the way to name it.
