Daechir was now out hunting, he was a big male and needed plenty to eat. With a wide yawn he stretched, raking his claw like nails across a tree, leaving marks in the bark. "Let's see what's on the menu today." He muttered to himself, scenting the air. Then he hissed angrily at a scent that caught his attention. There was another male intruding in his territory, and this was no upstart teen with big ambition. It was another large male, likely around his size. This would not be an easy fight. He decided to nip the problem in the bud but he'd need the energy from a full stomach before a fight like that.

After a half hour passed, Indra grinned as he headed down the path. He could explore again, maybe catch a few frogs. He was still very young, so he couldn't catch anything much bigger than himself right now. And his mother was sleeping, so he couldn't catch anything for them to eat. But he didn't expect to see what he saw, and it was definitely not Daechir.

Daichir was headed down the path, full of fish and eating the last of the final one he'd caught. He'd eaten and it was now time to take care of the ignorant intruder. Perhaps he wasn't aware he was trespassing but he could very likely not care whether or not he was. Tossing aside the last of the fish for whatever creature wanted it he picked up his pace.

"Um..." Indra blinked, seeing the larger naga. But then he saw his horns, and the diamond patterns on his tail. He gasped, this was their father. But it was pretty evident the other naga didn't recognize him, or know him. There were a lot of details their mother left out, but it was definitely evident he got the pointed horns from him with the gold banding.

Daechir hissed lightly, he was still quite a ways from the intruder. He stopped for a drink from a river and rested in the sun for a few minutes. Once he'd recharged he got up and moved forward, intent on sending the intruder out of his territory.

Indra slowly backed up, but then found himself picked up by the tail. Something he hated, and he knew his mother was aware of that. He just didn't expect to see gloved hands, and not so friendly eyes looking at him. The horns, definitely like his, just brown instead of gray. And the narrowed eyes, a lot like his. The diamond patterns, now he was actually petrified.

Daechir hissed, he could see the intruder from his perch in this large tree. But he saw something else he didn't like. The intruder was holding a child by the tail and he didn't seem to like the kid. What was more than that was the kid was familiar, he thought it might be the kid from yesterday. He hissed again and headed for the intruder, faster than before.

Indra glanced over in the distance, seeing Daechir moving rather quickly over to them. He tried to escape, especially since he hated being upside down. The last time he was upside down was after he was born, but right now he hated it. "Daechir!"

Daechir finally reached the apposing male and the sound of the boy's voice was confirmation. It was the same kid from yesterday. But to be honest that didn't matter. He had been taught to protect kids and he'd not disappoint his late mother by letting one die while he could stop it. He narrowed his eyes at the other male, hissing angrily, "Put. Him. Down."

"Do you have nagalings?" Killian hissed, glaring at Daechir. "Apparently I do, but I was not aware of it until now. They shouldn't have even been born. And this one poses a threat, he acts the way I did as a young one. I do not need any more competition. He is better off dead."

"I have more nagalings than you fool. I'm the king of this territory. And I don't care who's boy he is, I will not stand by while an innocent child is killed. I will not say it again, put him down and leave my territory. NOW!" Daechir held the glare of the other male with a glare of his own. He drew himself up more, using his tail to make himself taller.

Killian narrowed his eyes before he tossed Indra over to Daechir. "You like him so much, catch. But don't think I won't kill them if I see him again. And I know he has a brother, I can smell it on him. And their mother, who I'm surprised hasn't mated with another."

Daechir caught Indra and set him down, pushing him back behind him. "No you won't. You're going to LEAVE my territory. I won't have you around causing trouble for others. If I catch your scent tomorrow our meeting won't end so nicely. And if I get word that you've hurt ANY child you'll regret it."

Indra ended up shaking behind Daechir, watching as Killian eventually slithered off. He also knew he was in a lot of trouble, probably with both Daechir and his mother. He was told to not leave again because he was grounded, and what did he do?

Daechir glared after the other male until he was sure he was far enough away then turned to Indra. "You see why you need to stay close to your mother now? He'd have killed you if I had shown up a few minutes later. Now where's your mother?"
