Rising StormSign Ups' and Main ThreadSilver Stream Pack ThreadYou reach a stream that runs through green plains. To the left and right are grass lands that stretch almost as far as the eye can see, bordered by thick forest. It seems peaceful and welcoming on either side but you feel a force pulling you, urging you to go left. This is the first step of your journey. It's dark in the trees. You've finally made it across the plains and are now somewhat lost in the forest. You're about to turn back when a strong scent of wolves hits your nose. Now you're running towards what seems like more forest when suddenly you burst through the thick tree-line and are greeted by a beautiful lake. A tree, its' twisted roots digging into the surrounding ground, sits delicately on the edge of the water. This is your home. Shared Areas:(Images are not mine! Full credit goes to their owners!)  ~(This is where the packs meet and discuss things with each other, kind of like a gathering. The alphas and betas sit on the pile of stones while the rest of the pack sits in the leafy area below. Gatherings will only be held if the alphas agree to hold one. Placed where the two territories join.)  ~(This is the Crystal River that divides the two territories. To the left is the Twisted Roots Pack territory and the right, Silver Stream Packs' territory. On either side is where both packs do most of their hunts.) Rules:~No perfect characters, godmodding or power playing. ~Lioden Rules apply. ~Please keep swearing to a minimum. ~Try to be original with your wolfs' power or mutation. ~3+ sentences. Please be literate. If you don't speak fluent english please don't join. ~Do not kill or seriously injure another character without their owners permission. (Higher ranks may lightly scathe any rank lower than them only if necessary.) ~Hunts do not happen instantly and are not always successful. (More with larger prey.) As well as sickness, wolves do not get over a sickness in a matter of minutes. ~Feel free to cause drama but don't do it all the time. ~Only past tense writing please. 1st or 3rd person are both ok. ~Fade to black only if mating, birthing is ok. ~Be nice to everyone! ~Put your favourite number in Other if you've read the rules. ~When Posting put please state more than the characters name at the top of the post. ~No Wolf Speak. Eg: Oculus instead of eye. ~If crossing a border by mistake, post the crossing in both packs threads but make it clear in the other packs' thread that you're going to immediately return to your own territory. ~If crossing the border on purpose or to have confrontation with the other pack wolves, post the crossing in both threads but continue to Rp in the opposite packs' thread. (Any more suggestions? Feel free to say them!) Twisted Roots Pack ~(This is the main gathering area in the packs' territory. When a meeting is held the alpha and beta will often perch on a tree branch. The dens are slightly further into the trees, with the alphas den being in the middle and the omega and subordinates' dens on the outside of the others.) Stena| Lead Scout| Female| Stena lay partially awake in her den not really feeling like doing anything. She could hear some of the most beautiful singing coming from outside, and accompanied with it was many sharp barks and yips complaining about it. Must be Gebo, she thought. Because no other wolf in would be singing this early. However she didn't mind it as much as some of the other wolves, mostly because it reminded her of her old pack. Finally deciding to get up she arched her back and began to stretch out all her sore muscles. To her surprise tufts of her fur began to float down around her. She hadn't realized that spring had arrived, and unfortunately for her that meant a transition period form her winter pelt to her summer pelt. She began to exit her den and as luck would have it a huge pile of melting snow was dumped on top of her head. With a startled yelp she ran back into her den, curled into a ball and swore to sleep till all the snow was gone. Unfortunately the alpha had other ideas. A loud howl rang throughout the pack and caused her sensitive ears to ache. Gebo l l Male l l Lead Warrior/Fighter l Aluna He had heard his name being called a few times, turning from Azar and towards the voice, just in time to see a pup looking around. She must be the one looking for him. He smiled and trotted to her, lowering his head to mirror her size. "Hello, little pup. Did you need my assistance?" He smiled, cocking his head. He circled her a few times before stopping in front of the pup and laying down, leveling his head with her height with a bright smile. The smile vanished and his ears perked backwards as a loud, deep howl rang around the camp. How impulsive! How loud it was, and deep! Gebo preferred light, higher pitched voices, more like his. She was searching the forest to the left of her when a wolf with odd looking fur stopped in front of her. A friendly smile lingered in his face as he lowered his head. "Are you Gebo?" She asked hesitatingly. She tried to muster all the dignity she could- she had learnt that Gebo was the Lead Warrior, and wolves with such titles, she had learned, deserved respect and should be spoken to properly. Same rules applied to Sentinels. She cowered a little at that thought; her approaching Lucifer had been far from that. Then she remembered what the Sentinel had said. "Uhh.. Good morning!" Her words came out in a hurry. The cream-coloured wolf had circled her once, and she felt worried, trapped- had his behavior not been so open and friendly, she would have growled. He finished his circling and laid down then, his head just level with hers. She said it, she couldn't help herself. "I'm Not little!" She scowled slightly. A piercing howl tore through the air, deep and powerful, and when it faded, her ears were ringing. She whimpered a little; everything was so rough out in the open! A small part of her longed back into her den. When she stopped cowering enough to look up, the cream-pelted wolf was looking straight at her again. "Who was that?" Azar|4 Yrs. 7 M.|Male|Beta|Mexican Wolf Azar raised his head from the water, revealing the black feathers of a freshly killed crow. There was a triumphant glint in his eyes, even as Gebo and Rhys asked him if he needed assistance. "No, thank you though." He waded towards the bank and almost stumbled again on the slippery pebbles. Nodding to Gebo as he turned towards the pup, the beta gave himself a shake, scattering droplets of water across the ground. He then turned to Rhys and smiled as best he could with a mouth full of crow. Placing his catch on the kill pile, Azar was about to go looking for Fang when he heard a loud but deep howl. Welp, I guess Fang is awake. The Beta padded towards the howl and spotted her sitting outside her den. It wasn't their usual place to hold a meeting but if Fang wanted it there then who was he to question it. Settling himself beside her, Azar raised his head in a quieter, but still loud howl. "Hey, you got me! You're the biggest pup I've ever seen!" He said, and practically forgot she had said good morning. "G' day to you too, ma'dam." He chuckled. Though he had the option, he decided not to look in the pup's head, and not to put anything in it. Gebo learned over the years how to learn certain personal space. "Ah, that was the all mighty Fang, our always mad, pis- I mean, angry Alpha." He laughed quietly, how close he had came to cussing in front of the pup. He growled deeply and loudly. Standing up fully, he looked at Fang, then Rhys, then Azar. Other then Rhys, the other two were usually so serious. "I thought she was just trying to wake those poor bas-" He cut himself off with a sigh again, shaking his head. He always seemed to cuss when he was getting flustered. "Well, little pup, before we get our heads bit off for not going over there, I don't assume you came over here for nothing. What is it that you want?" He asked. For some reason he had gotten in a bad mood. This happens often. His voice was deep, like a wolf's should be, and he hovered over the pup slightly, his gaze hard and cold, though he tried to keep his attitude happy and joked slightly. eek hope that wasn't exactly swearing) 0 players like this post! Aluna || Female || Pup Aluna felt the corners of her mouth twitch upward at Gebo's words, and as he called her by a proper Lady title, she was biting back a grin. "Fang sounds scary," she admitted, daring a glance towards the Dens, where three wolves had gathered. She jumped as Gebo growled- it was a terrifying sound that sent shivers down her back, and she found she was suddenly glad she wasn't on his bad side. She found it a little hard to keep up with him. Then he returned his attention to her again, and the genuine pleasant air that had surrounded him was gone, his eyes hard and cold. She found herself suddenly questioning if she had gotten on his bad side. "I-i just wanted to... Lucifer told me i should ask you if-if you know if the s-scouts are awake but.. I think i can, uh, well, Fang called, and..." She backed away, ears flat and tail tucked between her legs from the scary Gebo. The way he towered above her made her feel so tiny and powerless; she couldn't help but imagine his musculous body pouncing and holding her down, growls making the very earth tremble... once again, she wished she had just stayed in her den. 0 players like this post! Sitting closer to the alpha and beta then the other wolves did due to her rank. He instantly lost his hard glare and smoothed his ruffled, agitated fur."Don't worry I wouldn't dare hurt you." He stated with a smile. "Scouts? Ah, well, Stena here," he paused as the feamle sat down next to him. "Perfect timing. Young lady, Aluna, this is Stena. Lead Scout. Ask anything you'd like about the rank to her." He smiled, backing up a but so they could speak. He took his place on the ground at least 30 ft from the others, playing with a blade of grass while singing quietly. Besides, even if Fang wasn't calling a meeting... I am." He turned his gaze away from the Sentinel and, without looking back at her, growled, "Watch your tone. She replied to Rhy, her flames seeming to glow brighter at her confident words.
