Caiden nodded yet again. "I was actually going to show you guys once we got outside. It probably isn't the wisest choice to shift in here," Caiden explained. He looked over at Valentina. "I take it you know a lot about your animal? That's very good." Then what Conner said registered in his mind. "You can't control your animal side very well? We'll need to work on that a bit. I had anger issues back when I first shifted too. I've learned to control it, though."

"Well, yes and no." Conner said. "I can control Griz, most of the time. He comes out to play, though, when I am angry. And when I'm angry, I don't have complete control over him. When I am purposefully shifting, though, I have complete dominance over him. He's quite the character," Conner said. He scanned the room. There wasn't much stuff. Conner couldn't wait to see Caiden shift, though. It made Conner want to shift himself.

She smiled and nodded at his description. Somehow the owl had been blown out of proportions in her mind, and she found herself imagining a human-sized owl. A smile playing around her lips. "Owl's good, you get to fly, even! Wait.. Do you hoot?" She asked excitedly. Somehow, hooting owls struck her as adorable.

Titan - Male - Student - Red Panda
Titan looked around as he waited for the rest of the students to show up. He was very eager to see his dorm and talk to his roommate a bit. Hopefully his roommate wasn't a total slob. Titan liked to keep things neat and orderly, but he didn't mind a little bit of mess. Relax, he told himself. It wasn't a big deal. "And we have a bathroom in our dorm room, right?" he asked Sid.

It's hard to rp when no one is willing to do so. It's simply like posting by myself. I don't even know what's going on anymore, everyone is just plowing through.))

He kept to the back of the group he was assigned to, knowing very well he was in the beginner class. Quite a few people were in here, but they probably weren't as old as him... His mother insisted he finish high school and at least settle his future before attending this one. It'd been more help than he'd thought, but it also didn't help the fact the stress had forced him to shift with little to no control; even after the 4 times he'd shifted, his mother was what brought him back. Although tackling a cheetah that attempted to flee and hugging it while it was freaking out wasn't exactly the smartest idea she had, but it'd worked. She had a few scrapes, bruises, and scars from the accidents. But she loved Adam all the same, even if he turned into a giant cat with emotional issues. Smiling to himself over the huge emotional speech before he left made him feel homesick all over again, but he couldn't return without learning control. It'd be more harm than good.

Mackenzie Bailey Brookes | Teacher - Advanced | Timber Wolf| Mentioned: Harley + Arn
The teacher kept back and waited for her students, knowing very well she always hosted the smallest classes. Harley Gibson and Arn Hemming, huh? That meant two students, so quite a bit less than last year. All her last students had graduate with mastering about half the abilities she offered, and they put them at the top of their class. That was 5 students then. Although she was more than impressed with her past students that were 2 rather odd animals. Those 2 girls could never be replaced. Smiling to herself at the memories, she pulled back her phantom shift and followed most of the kids, just going with the flow of the crowd before drifting out towards the front. She preferred to teach outside, as did quite a few others. The animal inside was always nervous indoors, especially prey animals. Even from predators were a bit more flighty and protective, like Mackenzie's; but control was everything. Breathing in deeply, she felt her insides settle easily as the wolf took the chance to relax. Her first class would be to explain that animals were a bit more than for shifting. If her students would show up anytime soon; this should've been the instructed meeting place stated to them.

Nikki kept to the back of the group as well, standing near Adam. She went over the group of beginners again, giving them nick-name in her mind until she knew their real names. "What kind of freak show did I join?" She mumbled to herself, but it was loud enough to be heard. She crossed her arms, making her jacket squeak a little as the leather brushed itself and folded. The squeak made her want to squawk in return, but she continued to suppress the urge.

Harley walked after her new teacher, Mackenzie. When she finally caught up, she stopped and introduced herself. "Hello. I'm Harley. I'm really excited to be in your class!" She stepped aside and waited for Arn to show up. She had just seen him, but he seemed to disappear once everyone got moving. "Will we do most of our classes outside?" she asked her teacher.

Arn wandered outside again, following the flock of students. Occasionally, when one of them would look up at him wondering, he'd flash them a toothy grin and make his eyes catlike. It usually made them hurry ahead at a greater pace, and he quite enjoyed it. Walking outside, he found his teacher and Harley already there. "So the skunk is here this year, too? Thought you would be done after last year," he shouted at her as he walked toward the two ladies.

Samantha-Female-Barn Owl

Quickly her chat group had broken up. Samantha was glad to see that she had the chance of making new friends here. Rather than tracking down someone to talk with, Samantha found a place to sit, and decided to just relax for a second. She didn't want to get to excited and turn into her owl. The first time had been rather awful, and she'd made certain to keep from changing again. It was stressful, which only made it harder. So she'd come here, to learn how to best control her owl.

Alec chuckled. Yeah, a giant owl. Once I'm able to control my size, I'll still be pretty big. And, well, I sort of hoot. Like, I don't screech, but it's not exactly a hoot. It's usually either a 'shoo-oo' or a 'boo-bo-voo' sound." Alec scratched the back of his head in embaressment. "I know, its kinda a weird noise.."
