 He hasn't been there for a while.Jaded already, the man lift his glaze to the high buildings of Goldenrod City with a sigh. He had left Johto several years ago to go back to his native region, Orre, and he never missed the huge concrete blocks of this modern city. He's born from the desert and always avoided big cities and large concentrations of people. After having left his land to get a house in the capital city of Johto, some years ago, he never stopped to wonder what could have convinced him to do so. Was he trying to escape to some bad memories? His look darkens while he was recalling the intense memories who marked the few years he spent in this city, so far from his home. Maybe he went back for those heavy memories. Maybe he was trying to find back something important he lost in there, to recapture what he loved, to find back those strong feelings, being positive or negative, he only met in there, or maybe was he there to fight against his misses and forget them. To untie him from all of them once and for all. But, in Goldenrod City, only remains those cold concrete buildings and a crowd of strangers. The man's look left the high roofs to come back to the ground. With a raging kick, he made the dust fly away around him, and turned around, turning his back to the white city, walking to the Route 34. He needs to allow himself to unwind. Maybe a fight may help. He observed the people around, looking for a trainer to challenge. _______________________________________ Actually just noticed I made a mistake within the roleplay : I confused two of his Pokemon and used a Houndoom he was supposed to have left in the PC.... So, here's the team he actually is using for this roleplay : Umbreon Feraligatr Absol Flygon Houndoom Espeon (stolen by the grunts) Character SheetsNo thread generated. Sarah sighed, "Well, to make things as short as possible we were just starting a battle and some weird guys stole our pokemon. We tracked them to a casino, caused a commotion, almost got arrested, rescued some of the pokemon, tracked ours to this town, found a literal truck load of stolen pokemon including the two stolen from us but they took off and all we could get back was this one box. On top of all that the pokemon we did manage to save all seem unusually aggressive, toward pokemon and people." She stopped to catch her breath and took the five pokeballs that weren't hers off her belt, "And these. I was going to borrow them to try and stop this ring of pokemon thieves but it feels too much like stealing." ((oh my I am really sorry, I am such a bad roleplay partner ;___;) Morty silently listened at her speech, not really looking surprised, just nodding from time to time. Morty : "I see. Rocket's guys, probably, uh? These guys are always trying to get their old power back, they just cannot accept that's their team is all rotten!" He had a slight laugh, weird mix of amusement and pity toward these men and women who were still fighting for the pride of an organisation that had even been abandoned by its own leader. He looked at the box for a few seconds before continuing : Morty : "Okay, I'll take care of the stolen Pokemons. I'll do my best to find back their owners, you can be sure of it. And I count on you to stop these guys, okay?" Wes was staying one step backward, staring at a wall, ready to go as soon as they would have been done with their chatting. 0 players like this post! (No, it's fine ^^ At least you come back to reply. I've had several RP partners that stop replying all together and I have to message them to find out that they wanted to quit the RP and others just never reply to the message and I have to assume they're done) Sarah smiled, "Thank you, and don't worry. We'll stop this group of crazy people, and I'm going to call Professor Rowan and have him come here to work on a way to help the aggressive pokemon. The gym leader landed a hand on the box like to prevent the girl from taking a ball back, before replying to her with a slight laugh : Morty : "No, mylady, this Pokemon sure has an owner and you cannot have it. Well, maybe should you go, now ? The grunts won't wait for you." Seeming to be more and more uncomfortable, Wes grabbed Sarah's arm, ignoring Morty's mocking look. Sarah scowled and narrowed her eyes at the ghost type gym leader, "I said IF you couldn't find the trainer, that doesn't mean now. And I don't care for that attitude." She huffed as she followed Wes, "He's got a lot of nerve, arrogant jerk." She looked over her shoulder, making sure Nightmare was following before returning her attention forward. Morty addressed her a disapproving look, being quite unsure of why she suddenly acted so rude with him : Morty : "Oy, young lady! You're getting the wrong adversary, there! Keep your foolish anger for the thieves !" He sighed, noticing the girl do not care about him anymore, but would not focus on it for any longer, and reported his attention onto the box full of Pokéballs. Wes did not look back, seeming a bit in a hurry to leave the gym. He replied to Sarah without looking at her, keeping his eyes fixed on the door in front of them. Wes : "Yeah, probably. Sarah nodded, "Alright, sounds like a plan." She followed him outside before freeing her arm and heading across town toward where the truck had been. As she went she kept an eye out for anything suspicious or out of place, while at the same time watching Nightmare for any odd behavior or another attack from those people. 0 players like this post! Wes looked around for a minute, seeming to be looking for a specific thing. Not finding anything, he started to analyse the ground. There were tyre marks in the mud where the car started up, but they would only lead them on a few meters before disappearing within the thick grass. They could do some concentric research until they find some marks again but it would take a while. Instead, Wes took a Pokéball off his belt and released his Houndoom. - Alright, boy, we're looking for a truck. The Pokémon looked at his trainer as if he was unsure of the order, before starting to sniff the ground. There were plenty of truck smells in there and he was not sure of which one he was supposed to follow. But the canine's good smell managed to pick the fresher smell out of the older ones, and he stopped in the direction of Mahogany Town, emphatically looking at his trainer. 0 players like this post! Sarah watched the pokemon and grinned, "Impressive sense of smell, even for a Houndoom." She went over and reached out, letting the creature sniff her hand before carefully petting it. She turned and started in the direction that had been indicated by the black helldog. As she went along she kept her eyes on her own pokemon and scanned areound for anything suspicious or out of the ordinary. 0 players like this post! Like? |

He smiled at her, proud of his four-legged companion : - Houndooms are smell champions. The canine Pokemon kept staring at his owner, not seeming to care much for the girl, and moved away to avoid her hand when she tried to touch him, showing his teeth to make her understand he do not want physical contact. The Houndoom being a relatively new addition to Wes' team, having been only quite recently teared away from his family pack, he was not really close to humans and, while he was showing some respect and loyalty to his owner, without loving him nonetheless, he was still acting distant with other human beings. The Pokemon started to walk when his owner went close to him, following him on the scented path, until they both stopped a few meters further. The dog started to insistently sniff the ground again under the impatient look of his owner, moving back and forth, seeming to be unable to give sense to what he was smelling. Looks like another car had passed by there not long before the truck they were following and, the two smells coming from the same day, the canine was now unable to differentiate them, and could not tell whether the Rocket truck had turned away or had kept going straight on. After a few minutes, Wes lost patience : - 'kay, ya know what, we'll just go on and see what we can find, they're probably in the cave or somethin'. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sarah watched the pokemon sniff and loose the trail, "It's not his fault, I'm impressed he found the right direction to begin with." She looked around the area then went over to a fisherman, speaking to him a moment before returning to Wes, "He said he herd a truck a while ago, it pulled in and idled for a time then left. It probably stayed long enough to unload the pokemon or transfer them to someone else before heading off to collect more. Our best bet is in the cave, we'll look in there for any signs of foot traffic or a cart. There's no way they'd carry that many boxes." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Wes looked at the fisher before looking around. - Yeah, let's try the cave. But with some Machamps or whatnot, they can easily carry the boxes. Not sure where they're gone but they probably did not cross the water anyway. Followed by his Pokemon, he started walking toward the cave's entrance. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"If they'd gone over the water the fisherman probably would have seen them, he said he'd been there all day. But even if he did they'd still be on the way to Mahogany town.
