WesHe hasn't been there for a while.
Jaded already, the man lift his glaze to the high buildings of Goldenrod City with a sigh. He had left Johto several years ago to go back to his native region, Orre, and he never missed the huge concrete blocks of this modern city. He's born from the desert and always avoided big cities and large concentrations of people. After having left his land to get a house in the capital city of Johto, some years ago, he never stopped to wonder what could have convinced him to do so. Was he trying to escape to some bad memories?

His look darkens while he was recalling the intense memories who marked the few years he spent in this city, so far from his home. Maybe he went back for those heavy memories. Maybe he was trying to find back something important he lost in there, to recapture what he loved, to find back those strong feelings, being positive or negative, he only met in there, or maybe was he there to fight against his misses and forget them. To untie him from all of them once and for all.
But, in Goldenrod City, only remains those cold concrete buildings and a crowd of strangers.
The man's look left the high roofs to come back to the ground. With a raging kick, he made the dust fly away around him, and turned around, turning his back to the white city, walking to the Route 34. He needs to allow himself to unwind. Maybe a fight may help. He observed the people around, looking for a trainer to challenge.

Actually just noticed I made a mistake within the roleplay : I confused two of his Pokemon and used a Houndoom he was supposed to have left in the PC.... So, here's the team he actually is using for this roleplay :
Umbreon
Feraligatr
Absol
Flygon
Houndoom
Espeon (stolen by the grunts)

(I always run ideas by the other person first to be sure they're okay with it. Rocket is fine. Though we actually could do Cipher if you preferred. There was in game text in the sequel to Colosseum the suggested Cipher had branches in the other regions.)

(I can't decide. They would both be fun but I'm not really sure.)

(Okay, Team Rocket it is. Since it was my turn to reply anyway I'll go ahead then.)

Sarah was about to call another attack when a net fell, effectively catching both pokemon. Sarah turned angrily toward the origin of the net, "What's the big idea?!"

Two men in black suits with a red letter R on the front scowled, "We're taking these pokemon for Team Rocket! Hand over all your pokemon!"

(Sorry this one was short.)

Wes didn't even look surprised. He was so used to that kind of things. With a jaded sigh, he just pulled out his Pokeball to call his Pokémon back, not even surprised to see the two minions were too stupid to think about this. But their reflexes being faster than their smartness, one of the men in black suit threw some strangely coloured balls on the two Pokemons, and they both entered said balls right before Wes Pokeball's came into effect, and the trainer could just stare at the two men running away with the stolen Pokemons, stupidly laughing.
Not anxious at all, Wes left a large sigh out, looking at the sky, expressing how boring this was to him. He then looked at the girl, talking to her with a very calm voice :

- Well.... I guess we can't finish our fight. Let's go before they're too far. I really don't want to have to run.

Sarah watched as the men took off with the pokemon they had just stolen then turned to the man with a frown. "Then don't" She huffed and raced after them, shouting angrily at the two crooks, that is until she was tackled by an angry looking Houndour. She tried to get up the the territorial pokemon sat down on her back and growled.

Wes really didn't want to run. Then he just walked quickly toward the direction where the Rocket guys and the young girl ran away, mumbling. He could have been happy something finally happens to deal with his boredom, but he was sure those stupid grunts would not be enough to entertain him, and this whole thing would just be even more boring than doing nothing.
He noticed the girl lying down in a street, an aggressive Houndour immobilizing her. He stared at her for a few seconds, aggrieved to see her bowing in front of a puppy, and quickly moved his eyes around. The thefts weren't there anymore. But their Pokemon being still there, they could not have ran so far away.
After having observed the place for a while, he took another Pokéball from his belt to let his Houndoom out. The canine Pokémon stared at the human girl, then at his owner, wondering whether he was supposed to help her or not.

- There are some team grunts around there. They stole Amber. Use your nose.

The canine starting to explore the place, sniffing around to find the grunts. But there were so many humans in the city he just could not know which odour he was supposed to look for.
Letting his Pokémon do his job, Wes tilted to the young girl, still struggling under the angry Pokemon who started to munch her hairs.

- Are you okay? Or do you really need help to get rid of a...puppy?

"I only have one pokemon and he's been stolen." Sarah sighed then looked back at the pokemon on her back, "Will you get off now? You're getting heavy." To even her surprise the Houndour moved and yawned, shaking it's fur then turning to follow it's trainer down the path. Sarah stood and sighed, "That's what I get for acting without thinking. Though it does bring the point of needing at least one more pokemon with me." She turned after the Houndour then looked back at the other trainer, "No point running anymore. We'll just follow the Houndour."

The trainer was rather surprised to see the Pokemon go away that easily. It looks like those Pokemons are not trained hard enough. Most tamed Pokemons knows they are forbidden to attack humans, but a good training (or, mostly, some brain-washing) can easily go above this. But at least the man will not have to rescue the girl. Last time he did, the rescued girl stick to him for weeks.

- Yeah. You should definitely get more Pokemons. One is never enough. What if someone throws a shadow type Pokemon at you?

Saying this, he was following the Houndour already, just calling his own Pokemon by a soft movement of his hand. He was still walking quietly, not anxious at all for his stolen friend. Why would the grunts hurt him anyway? They need him to be at its most powerful.

Sarah turned to him and seemed confused, "Shadow type? You mean Dark type or am I missing something?" Shrugging it off she continued down the trail, keeping an eye out for anything unusual in case the grunts had stopped somewhere to hide or had gotten lost or something. She glanced over at the taller man every now and then, finding it a bit odd he hadn't gotten more upset. Maybe something like this had happened to him before?

[[Well, I guess I should update my Pokemon vocabulary xD I was sure it is "shadow" in English....]]

Wes frowned, annoyed by the girl's comment.
- Does the name change anything? They're gonna beat your ass anyway, no matter how you call 'em.
The Houndour they were following slipped into an open air vent from some cave under a common-looking building. The trainer squat to look at the opening, with a long, exaggerated sigh of deep weariness. He really had no desire to wander into some cave just to catch some low-level team grunts. But he had to get his friend back anyway.
With a resigned "all right", he let himself slip into the opening, struggling a bit because of his large shoulders, and landed in some ugly cave where three men, wearing the Rocket uniform, stared at him uncomfortably, while the Houndour just went back to it's pet bed, chewing a caterpie-shaped rubber toy.

(I thought you did but I wanted to be sure. Sorry if I sounded rude there. There is a Shadow type but it's limited to the branch Colosseum and Gale of Darkness.)

"You shouldn't underestimate others. Just because of a type advantage or disadvantage doesn't mean that the outcome is a sure thing." Sarah shrugged off the remark and watched him slip into the vent, "Didn't feel like looking for the main entrance I see." She chuckled, to herself and went to the vent, peering into it for a moment and waiting before climbing through, not wanting to hit the strange man on the way out. Once on the other side she looked around and sighed, "Right into the Beedrill's nest. Well, no turning back now." Then she started to search for the door to the room and made her way to it once she'd spotted it.

((Indeed I confused those. In my language, the word we use for colosseum's Pokemons is translated into "dark" and the word we use for the pokemon type sometimes is translated into "shadow" that's why I always confuse the english name :p but you don't have to be afraid of sounding rude in the roleplay, as long as it's directed toward my character and not me. He's rude as well anyway))

The Trainer peered at the girl, wondering where she is going, but quickly focused back on the men in black uniforms. His hands on his hips and his proud face pointing straight at them, he tried to appear as most confident as he could, maybe hoping he may impress them enough to avoid a useless and annoying fight.

Wes : So, where are our Pokemons ?

Two of the grunts moved to stay between Sarah and the door, preventing her from going away, while the third one was alternatively looking at the two trainers, looking confused and afraid. It is only after a while that one of them, the most confident-looking one, bothered to answer the question, looking at the two trainers with an evident contempt.

Rocket guy : Do you kids really imagine you're gonna get your Pokemons back ?

(It's alright. Now that I know for sure you meant what I'd thought I won't correct you again. Anyway, I'm a compulsive apologizer. If I think I may have upset someone I automatically apologize.)

"Kids? I'm twenty one! He's at least twenty, likely older. And more importantly, you think you can stop me?" Sarah huffed, crossing her arms at the two men. The lack of pokemon seemed to have no effect on her attitude toward the thieves. Still, better not to cause too much of a ruckus or the whole group would be after them, and that would be disastrous.
