She gave a large grin with her fangs tucked neatly between her lips and tucked her knife into its sheath, glancing down to examine her handiwork of a new sheath for the young apprentice, a well crafted skin pelt, and another pelt for temporary escorts to rest on.

"Jewellery isn't my thing. That is why you're that Overseer," Aiera stated matter-of-factly, stretching her neck to grab a long, thick cylinder of wood and laying it over her white paws. She examined the would-be shaft; almost perfect. "The apprentices have been getting better, haven't they," she mused, taking the wood in her jaws, carefully positioned to line up with her fangs. She bit down, creating shallow holes in the stick. She repeated the process, holes going up and down the shaft of the knife.

Jackson nodded a gentle goodbye to the Armorers' Overseer, who had asked about the upcoming duties. With a plan in his mind, the elder wolf trotted to the center of the shallow basin, hopping up to stand on a cluster of sun-baked rocks. He pointed his nose to the sky and released a low, lon howl to signal a meeting.

Delindra chuckled "Im not great with jewelry either. That was always Yseli's forte(her deceased good friend/mate. See her sign up xD)." She flicked her ear, and was about to speak again when Jackson called a meeting. Glancing worriedly at Aiera, she wrapped her sheath and knife around her leg and rose to walk to the alpha.

Quin raised his head, a polished knife still in his jaws and a few practice dummies made from stray pieces of wood well stabbed and cut. Sweat dripped from his shoulders and after he tucked his knife back into its sheath attached to his front right leg, he panted a bit as he padded over to Jackson, sitting dutifully a few yards away.

Aiera stood up, knitting her brows in confusion. She set what she had been working on in a neat pile beside her friend's. Jackson wasn't the one to conduct meetings very often, but this one couldn't possibly mean devastating news. Maybe it was about the famine again, or that the pack needed another party out to get water. She settled in as the rest of the wolves did, sitting beside Delindra.

Jackson watched as wolves gathered in a neat semicircle before him, a kind smile across the alpha's muzzle. "Good afternoon, Starseeker Pack," he bellowed, making sure even the other elders in the back could hear clearly, "First of all, I applaud each member of this pack for working so efficiently during this famine. It has been a difficult time for all of us, I know, but we have pulled through."

Delindra glanced at Aiera, furrowing her brows in a questioning look, wondering if she had heard anything. She hadnt exactly considered this famine a bad one. The water was lower than normal this summer, and an aggressive bunch of boars had moved in while some other animals had left, but it wasnt the worst one the pack had ever faced. All things considered, they were used to being creative and resourceful in living in this valley desert.

The Grey wolf sat town twitching his ears watching Jackson, He snorted quietly at the Famine, the only ones the famine effected were the Omegas, but he didn't step a paw out of time to mention that, He glanced at the wolves that were near him, they didn't pay mind to him, that caused him to be a bit annoyed, but it was normal, He scratched behind his ear, his Silver eyes looking around for anyone else's Opinion.

Aiera glanced to Delindra and shrugged her shoulders. While there had been something of a famine, it wasn't nearly as bad as one that had occurred the year before. Maybe that was the one he was thinking of.

Jackson glanced down at the confused expressions and silently cursed himself. How could he call this a famine? After a moment of silence, the elder wolf's eyes widened, realizing his mistake. He had confused this year with last year. Again. However, the proud male wouldn't admit that. So he cleared his throat and continued, "As many of you know, in just over a moon, we will be receiving a young Apprentice from Sunrise. And with his arrival, he will bring two escorts who will stay for a few days. We, as a pack, need to make sure that they are respected and well taken care of. Though several of you already have been doing a good job of this, I need everyone, especially the Artisans, Weaponmakers, and Armorers, to ramp up production a little. Overseers, it is your duty to make sure that the wolves you are in charge of not only meet their quota, but exceed it."

The whiteish female wolf watched Jackson with her eyes half closed, she was near the pups, she shook her self awake and sat up, she yawned slightly and twitched her ears, Royal Guards weren't mentioned so she didn't see a reason for her to stick around, she pushed her self up and rounded the pups up taking off towards where they normally rest, it was nap time for the small ones, and she wanted to make sure they got it

Athena groaned and rolled her eyes. Increase production? " At mine and Aiera's pace, we create about a weapon a day. So.. to increase our production, we'd have to make two or three a day. Wonderful." She grumbled under her breath, Looking back at the weaponmaker's den. Well, i could make most of one today, and i could make a couple tomorrow.

When she woke from that deep slumber her eyes widened in shock, how long had she slept? How many days had it been since she last found out she had 3 days!! She lurched to her paws, eyes spotting a freshly bloodied piece of meat lay in front of her. That was the first thing that tipped her off, they never fed her. Surely it was poisoned or something, the next was a CLEAN water bowl. Usually they were molded or full of algae. Crystal let out a low rumble, it looked to be midday! She had wasted so much time already sleeping the day away, and now here she was still chained and watching the men walk by with narrowed eyes and snarls on there faces.

Delindra couldn't suppress the look of disdain as it crossed her face. Quickly wiping it off, she rose to her paws "Pardon me, Alpha, may I speak?" She stayed as she waited for an answer.

After receiving her answer (didn't want to leave it that way XD), Delindra cleared her throat "Alpha, I have already started the things we will need for the young Noble. In fact, Aiera and I were just working on them. She finished the cloak, i the pelt and sheathe. The only thing we need left is a knife, and Aiera is working on that, I'm sure. The escorts will only be here a night or so, why must we increase production when the visitor's things are already made? Surely we not need to impress the Sunrise pack, they have been our allies for two generations, and us theirs."

Jackson nodded, "Go ahead, overseer." As he listened, he set up his reply, calculating what to say and when. "I commend your and Aiera's intuitivenes," he began, smiling at both she-wolves, "However, I was speaking more to the likes of blunt weapons used for sparring, and cloaks to practice wearing them in battle. You know that inexperienced wolves, especially one at the age he is, can be rather... destructive when they first begin. All of you will not only work as Weaponmakers, Armorers, Artisans, and Architects, but also as teachers and educators, and all good teachers need equipment, no?"

Delindra nodded slowly "Hmm, Alright then, I believe I see what you mean. Until they arrive, however, even being that the apprentice will be destructive to the training weapons and equipment, surely we won't need half a moon of increased production? If any of my Artisans aren't producing at least a day's worth of hard work and sturdy equipment, you can be sure I'd know. We have plenty of extra training tools, and the duller weapons take much less time to make than the battle ready ones. Since we are on overproduction mode, should we focus then on extra cloaks and sheathes and the normal output of training weapons?"
