She flicked her bright red ears with a growl, and lurched, the resulting noise was a low groan only her ears barely picked up. Caramel eyes glared ahead and she dug her paws into the ground and lurched again, something behind her made a soft thunk and she skittered forwards a few steps. The maned wolf froze, turned and walked to the end of the chain, sure enough it had finally given way after hours of hard labor and years on that damn chain. "Im free!" Though the wolf was smart enough to lay near the end and cover the broken pieces till nightfall where she'd make her escape.

Hercules

He watched the meeting with a slight interest, more mouths to feed though the allies were very important to their pack. He rose to his haunches as the meeting began to end and his ears flicked towards the woods briefly as something moved and stopped. Just a Squirrel or something.. Herc brushed off the thought of it being something else entirely and sighed before looking to the Overseer as she spoke up. Ears perking with new found interest.

Mystery

The young animal had decreased it's distance between camp and himself. Mere yards to the edge of the camp, yet the beta seemed to hear a step and he froze completely. they'd single the alpha out later to talk...

(also, if mystery really is fall, why dont we just push his entrance back and have him secretly follow Soren, Anna, and Storm? Asahi loves storm, so maybe Asahi follows Storm and Fall tags along with him cuz he's bored and wants to do something else and doesnt want the 4month old being killed by predators)

Crystal

After night fell on her side of the plains, the maned wolf made her move. She didn't have much time, she'd heard her execution was at dawn and that would be hours from now but those loud steel rocks of theirs (Jeeps) were fast. Liquid amber eyes made a quick scan of camp, her head dipping to pick up the end of the chain before her legs took her to the edge of camp. Hesitating at the border, her paw hovering over the border before she placed it down. Waiting to be woken or yelled at for getting away. The maned wolf waited a few heartbeats longer then she should have before taking off, a small whine of freedom escaping her maw as she darted in a random direction and didn't stop. Passing by a watering hole and stopping to drink fresh water for the first time in years, a small purple and yellow plant caught her eye, her stomach rumbling at the sight as she devoured the Wolf Apple's she remembered from the zoo. A few rabbits ran for cover but the female wasn't interested in them, she needed to get away, she continued on her way, beginning to zig-zag across the plains to confuse any dogs the humans might be hiding. "
Anciets, I pray you help me find my way to a new home." Hoping the Ancients heard her plea to them for help on her journey to a new life.

Hercules
After the meeting the beta stood and walked towards the edge of camp slowly, his paws moving him towards a beautiful stone at the edge of camp. The male took it in his maw and into the Weaponmaker's den, "I need a new knife with this stone please." Once cut it would surprisingly reveal a bright Blue Halite Crystal, "Soon would be nice, but meet your daily quota before working on this thanks!" Herc made his way towards Jackson with a smile, "Alpha, may we have a hunt sir? The kill pile's getting a bit low.."

Aiera | Female | 3.5 years | Weaponmaker

Aiera took the fascinating stone in her teeth and set it on her workstation, admiring it for a moment before turning back to her beta. Her long, elegant tail was tucked slightly between her back legs and her ears laid back against the tips of her neck fur. "Of course, Beta Hercules" she replied, tipping her head to her superior.

Jackson looked past the beta at the hut containing every piece of the pack's kill. "You may, Hercules," he instructed, "Collect the hunters and lead the hunt. Try a ram or wild boar today." He regarded the other male for a second and a miniscule smile spread across his face, a rare look of mischeif. "Or, if you're feeling lucky and you gather up our best hunters and warriors and arm them, you have my permission to try and pick off one of the bison herd," he said with a wink.

She was only a red blur dashing across the plains, following a instinctual line that popped into her mind. In the far distance something roared to life and the female picked up speed kicking up a slight dust as she ran, eyes wide with panic. The chain was beginning to dig into her tongue but she ignored it, wanting to be rid of the humans that kept her prisoner. Her ears flattened against her skull to hopefully drown out the noise of the steel machines the humans drove and to get to where ever her mind was leading her. Crystal let out a growl at a lowly coyote snapping at her blindly, leaving the mutt to run off yelping and whining into a burrow not far off. Though that didn't slow the maned wolf, her progress only increasing tenfold.

Hercules
He gave Aiera a smile then replied to the alpha, "Thank you sir!" He bowed down to the alpha, rising slowly and nuzzling the male affectionately on the chin, he turned with a large smile and let out a large howl, calling the hunters and warriors to him. Once gathered around, "Alright guys, Alpha Jackson has given us permission to try and bring down one of the bison! Arm yourselves with your best tools and prepare for the hunt."

Athena looked at the stone." huh. Shouldn't be too hard to cut. Anyway." She said, turning and going to her own workstation. She pulled out some leather and carefully made a knife sheath, and carefully embedded a small jewel into the clasp. She inspected the sheath, and smiled when the small blue jewel glinted in the daylight.
