Hades stopped as he heard a young male voice calling out to him. Great.. Sighing, he turned around and looked down at the cub as he pranced around him. "No, Zeriko, not today. Go back to camp." he said in his masculine voice, looking to Mihei or Thana for assistance. Thinking up something, he inwardly shrugged. "You need to.. Stay back and defend the camp in case the humans come here." he said, nodding his head to confirm what he said. If the cub would go back to camp, he'd turn around and begin walking away from camp.

raised a brow as Mihei answered, nodding his head. "Hm..." he would murmur in a pondering way, tail lashing behind him idly. Licking his muzzle, his ears perked slightly more than before when Thana spoke and he nodded once more, "Great, let's go." he said in his usual deep, yet smooth voice, beginning to head North, looking back at Thana to see which direction she was pointing and heading that way. Listening to her advice, his ear twitched, "Of course. I wasn't planning on attacking unless we had to. If they pose a threat I would like to attack, but not if they're too dangerous. We're really a scout mission... He said, training off for his last comment. It was odd, sending your biggest lion warrior on a scout mission. He was pretty stealthy for a massive brute, but not as stealthy as a scout- or as Mihei or Thana were probably.

Hades watched with amusement as the cub said 'yes sir!' before scurrying back to camp, a proud look on his face. He smirked, though felt a tad worried. Zeriko might think it was a great honor to defend cAmp, but what if his curiousness got the better of him. Shrugging, he continued on his way, heading North in the direction Thana had pointed him towards. He nodded as Thana spoke, "Yes, I understand. But if I see any form of threat, I'd like to make sure they never hurt a lion." he said with a grunt, lashing his tail. Seeing movement on his side, the brute watched as Thana matched his strides, walking beside him and, reading her face, he tried to see what her expression meant. He could see relief, that was for sure. He looked at Mihei to make sure she was with them.

Nose twitching, he picked up a stronger scent of human and made his steps quieter, walking as light as a lion of his size could do. He was doing pretty good, to be honest. Ear flicking, he could detect human-like noises and narrowed his eyes. Picking through the trees, he could see the light of fire, a human-made thing the monkey looking people used to light up an area. Odd. There were also strange contraptions behind the people, who were sitting around the light. "The camp's up there." he said to the two lionesses, quiet enough for the seemingly deaf humans to not here~ he called them deaf because they didn't have nearly as good hearing as lions did. Crouching, he hid, his massive paws placed well on the damp ground. Observing their camp, Hades couldn't help but growl as he saw a lot of guns, and fur. Ooh, the humans better pray that it wasn't lion fuur, because he was definitely going to kill them sooner or later if it was. He had experienxed humans using guns before - as was obvious by the gun scars on his body, showing where a bullet scraped by if the humans missed - and knew well enough how to fight a gunned human. He would wait for their opinion, not knowing whether or not they thought they should strike, as he didn't know what he thought himself.

Observing the camp, Hades saw furs if all types, but no sign of lion fur. Ear twitching, he narrowed his eyes, looking at one of the humans. The humans were lucky. His tail lashed behind him as the coppery scent of blood reached his nose, causing it to scrunch in disgust. The pure smell of bloody human alone made him want to throw up. Their scent was so strong, and you could tell just by scent that they had killed that day. Ugh. Sure, he couldn't see any lion fur, but that didn't mean the humans didn't plan on killing one of his kind. The warrior had a fierce hatred for humans, as one had killed his brother two years ago, when the pale lion himself wasn't strong or large enough to battle that many humans on his own, and he hated letting any live. Maybe if a human looked innocent enough, he'd let them go, but these humans in front of him looked far from innocent. There was a huge chance at least one of them had killed a lion before. Looking over at both Mihei and Thana, he could see relief in both of their expressions. They didn't want to fight that day, even if the pale brute did.

Feeling something touch his firm shoulder, he immediately looked down and saw Thaba putting her head against his shoulder, probably trying to calm him down. Not used to physical touch other than combat, he stood still, body as stiff as a rock. He felt some weird feeling in his chest when he felt her touch, but decided to ignore it, not knowing what it was at all. It was odd. He listened to her soft words, nodding. "I know..." he muttered, ears flattening slightly. "But, that doesn't necessarily mean they won't kill a lion. They look like lion killers to me." he said with a grunt. Pretty much every human looked like a lion killer to Hades, given his past. His vengeful self didn't want to let these humans go, but his more responsible and smart side told him he didn't need to put Thana and Mihei in danger for revenge.
