"It's fine." she said. Although she was angry, she was over the shock of what had happened earlier. "I think I'm going to head on home now. Thanks though." She began to walk out the door, but turned around as she was about to leave the house. "And I know that we aren't best friends or anything, so I might be stepping out of bounds here, but if you ask me, that Larkin girl is bad news. Ending whatever the two of you had might not be a bad thing. There are so many nice girls out there that don't harass their exes friends when they get drunk. " She thought back to the party, thinking about who she saw Kylie with.

"That Sam girl you were hanging out with seemed really nice. And she was totally into you." She paused before saying something she knew she would regret later. "And Kylee, too. She seems really nice. I talked to her earlier today, and you two seemed to really kick it of." Playing matchmaker with her friend and a girl that she may or may not have feelings for was really weird, but she knew that saying what she said would further solidify her straightness in her friends eyes. "Why waste your time with someone who goes from friendly to throwing a fit in ten seconds?"

Larkin
Why did she have to be the way she was? She jumped to conclusions and all she wanted to so was be a good person but failed. She was nice, she had a ot of friends and she was always there for people but when they crossed the line it got to her. She was offended by Jayne, Jayne was the most rude person she had ever seen. And everything she said to Larkin? She didn't even know her. Why do I have to make everything worse for me. Why am I such a Joke? I toss everything aside and loose the only thing that was ever good. But I don't need her anymore. I can find someone else, and they can be ten times better just like me. I can give her love and affection, make her feel like the princess she is. She was lost in her head filled with hurt as she neared the stop sign ahead.

Kylie knew Jayne was right but she also knew Larkin a lot better than Jayne did and she was just going through a rough time. "Thanks, but I know what I'm doing." Kylie said, a little frustrated. Jayne nodded understandingly. Well, she didn't exactly have to understand. The only time that she had a hard time choosing between two potential suitors was when she couldn't chose between the quarterback and the wide receiver last year, and she didn't actually have feelings for either of them. She ended up choosing the wide receiver only because his IQ wasn't quite as depressing. "You could always just date a football player like I do. It's super easy when nobody actually cares." Realizing that she had admitted that she didn't care about the guy she had spent a year dating, she decided to change the subject. "But yeah, Sam and Kylee, hard choice. Both of them are really hot." Did she really just say that? Mentally slapping herself, she decided that it was time to go. "Well, I need to get some sleep. Tell me how this all pans out, I guess. Good luck with your relationship struggles, but I really should get going. She gave Kylie a nod goodbye before rushing out of the house and hopping into her car.

Everything that came out of Jaynes mouth shocked Kylie so much that she didn't even have time to say goodbye. First off, the thing about the football player she dated and how she didn't care seriously took Kylie by surprise. She thought that Jayne really cared about him, guess not. She felt a little bad for the football player too... he didn't deserve that. But then her saying that Kylee and Sam were both hot? Yeah, that definitely answered Kylie's question about Jayne not being straight. Kylie wasn't straight herself so she had an advantage to telling whether someone was straight or not. She shook her head and just went upstairs to lay down, she wasn't sure if after all that she could sleep at all tonight.

She sighed and pulled off from the stop sign. She as too caught up in her head and didn't check to see what was coming. She felt a jolt and pain from her right side. She heard ringing and was confused. All she thought about was today and that's all she remembered as she closed her eyes.

"Hello this is Ellen Carson here with breaking local news. A few moments ago there was a wreck between a semi truck and black Jeep. The wreck is located at the four way on 6th street. The truck driver said he thought the Jeep was waiting to pass but as he was about to pass through the Jeep went into drive and went straight Infront of him. He was fine with a minor confusion but the other driver was sent to the hospital with major injuries. We haven't been informed on the driver's status. Though she has been identified as Larkin Vee, one of Elroy high school's female basket ball player. Once we have more insight on her injuries we will keep you updated. Now James Huxley will give you an update on a local story of a cat stuck in an air vent.."

Kylie laid down and turned on her TV, the news was the first thing to come on but she clicked the guide to change the channel with the news in the background which she hardly paid attention to. She heard something about a jeep which made Kylie immediately think about Larkin, but she thought it probably wasn't her. That was until they said it was Larkin Vee who was in the hospital. Kylie froze, she knew she shouldn't had let Larkin leave without getting a ride from someone. "Fuck!" Kylie yelled out angrily. Quickly Kylie ran downstairs and grabbed her car keys before she was out the door in a flash. She was angry at herself and Larkin. Herself for being dumb enough to let her leave without a ride and Larkin for also making bad decisions. Tears started to spill out of Kylie's eyes like crazy and she punched the wheel. Whenever Kylie was angry she always turned violent, and it was never good. Finally she got the hospital and she ran to find Larkin. The doctors told her that only family were allowed to see her at the moment which resulted in Kylie cussing them out and sitting down in the waiting room, a complete mess of tears.

He was having a good conversation with Kylee, until he got a phone call."Give me one second, it might be Larkin she probably locked herself out of the house," he didn't pay attention to the caller ID. He was fine listening to them talk, but he soon grew pale at the news.He hung up his phone and turned to Kylee," I gotta go. Larkin was in another wreck," he shook his head and ran to his bike. He hurried to the hospital to see Kylie waiting there. He didn't even hear her leave her own house. "Hey," he rubbed her back as she cried," they tell you anything on her?" He was shaking but he tried to hide it. She always got herself into things.

she felt herself wheezing when she woke. She saw lights above her and a curtain surrounding her bed and a gown on her. Why was she in the hospital? What happened, she looked over and found an IV in her arm and her leg propped up."Whats going on?" Her first thought was her brother and then Kylie. Theyre gonna be so mad. They're gonna think I was drunk. I was just lost in my head. What have I done oh god. She went to lean up, but s jutting pain was sent up her spinal cord. She let out a loud groan.

After he was told what was wrong his heart sank a bit and he glanced over at Kylie before deciding whether to bring her or not.

Jayne // Larkin and Kylie

Jayne yelled at herself mentally for everything she had told Kylie before she left. How had she let herself say that stuff? No, she loved that football player, had cried about their breakup for hours. That was what she told everyone anyways. But that wasn't the worst offense: calling Kylee and Sam hot was the straw that broke the camels back. The entire ride home, she thought about how she would convince Kylie about her complete straightness. She could try to get back together with her ex. She would then try to make her comments about the other girls' hotness seem like they were just typical straight girl compliments by using the same phrase to compliment a few of her "Women Crush Wednesday" celebrities. Even straight girls called the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett Johansson hot, after all. No, she had no reason to worry about her secret getting out. For the rest of her car ride home, she felt at peace.

As she walked into the house, she quickly realized that her parents were already asleep. She closed the door quietly, trying to avoid waking them, before she walked to the kitchen to grab herself some water. She had grown rather parched over the extent of the party, and the cool water felt great as she gulped down an entire glass. She stretched, feeling how tired her muscles felt, yet her brain was not yet ready for sleep. Instead, she decided to turn on the tv in the living room and watch whatever was on until she fell asleep on the couch. She grabbed the remote and turned on the television, curling her legs up and getting comfortable. As always, her parents had left the news on. She was about to flip the channel to something more entertaining, when she saw something that made her heart drop. That Larkin girl from the party was in an accident. She was in the hospital. This was all Jayne's fault. Before she could think about what she was doing, she had already grabbed her car keys.

She only started to think straight when she was in the hospital parking lot. What was she doing here? Larkin was a total jerk. Her getting herself in a car accident didn't change any of that. After thinking that, Jayne immediately felt guilty. It was so selfish of her to hate someone who could be dying. She then remembered the half-nice things that the girl had said before blowing up. Larkin wasn't a terrible person. Sure, their personalities didn't fit together at all, and they would probably never be friends, but now it was time that she should show some compassion, from one bitch to another. She made up her mind and walked into the hospital, stopping at the front desk to ask for directions to Larkin's room. As she walked through the hospital, she saw a gift shop. Feeling like she really owed the girl at least a little something, she walked in and made a purchase with the "emergency cash" that she always kept in her pocket. She emerged from the shop with a gift bag in hand and quickly made her way to Larkin's room.

As she walked in, she noticed that Kylie was already waiting there. Well, this was going to be a weird moment. She had just told Kylie how awful Larkin was, and now she was here, showing up at the hospital bearing gifts. She hesitated for a moment, wandering if she had made the right choice coming here, before she finally walked into the waiting room. She walked silently up to her teammate, taking a seat next to her and tapping her shoulder. "Is Larkin alright?" she asked hesitantly.

Jayne shrugged, trying to come off as cool and collected even though she felt like a wreck inside. She could tell that Kylie had been crying, but she knew that it wouldn't be wise to acknowledge it. "Larkin and I aren't close," she began to explain. "But I was one of the last people she really talked to before the wreck. Harsh words were exchanged from both parties involved, and I want her to know that none of what I said came from a place of sincerity." She paused, thinking back to her conversation. Looking back at it, she hadn't really said anything mean to the girl; she had just asked her not to kiss her again. But something about it had offended Larkin, and if whatever it was had caused her to lose control as she drove, she felt sorry about it nonetheless.

She realized that she had been talking with an almost robotic stiffness. That tended to happen to her when she was feeling too much at once: she would act as if she felt nothing at all. "We were both coming from an emotional place, and we both said some things that could have hurt the other. We'll probably never be friends- I understand that- but that doesn't give me the right to say anything that would offend her." She began speaking genuinely, but as she continued to talk, anger silently bubbled within her. She hadn't said anything unkind to Larkin. In fact, she had only been offering the girl a ride. Larkin was the one that got drunk. Larkin was the one kissed her. Larkin was the one that blew up at her simply because she said that she wasn't gay and didn't want to kiss her. Even if the first part wasn't true, the second part definitely was. And Larkin didn't want to kiss her either. She just did it to get her to shut up. It made no sense; she could have just told her to shut up, or rolled up the windows, or just drove off without a word. But no, she kissed her.

Jayne swallowed down her anger and her pride. The girls could go back to hating each other when Larkin was out of the hospital, but for now she was going to be as friendly as she could possibly be. Honestly, she didn't care if Larkin punched her in the face once she was healthy enough to do so, and she knew that she would go back to being the same passive-aggressive bitch that she was yesterday, but for now she would be a good person and put their little argument aside. "When are visitors allowed in?" she asked Kylie, hoping that the wait wouldn't be too long.

He had went back when the girls were talking to see his sister. Part of her face was black and blue and her leg was shattered and the doctor told her she strained hee spinal cord and there was now a fluid build up. She was going to have to have surgery but that was always dangerous for his sister. She was Anemic and frail, one wrong move and she could lose her blood, an excessive amount. "Hey Lark pain meds helping any?", he held her bruised hand. He noticed tears were rolling down her face but she wasn't speaking. That only happened when she was in pain, emotionally or physically. "Just go get out of here. You don't care it's my fault anyway, im stupid that's all it is. Just to Exavier," his sister pushed him. She then raised her voice, everything was crashing down on his poor sister, she just kept repeating for Exavier to leave that his caring for her was a lie. The doctor came in and asked him to leave because her blood pressure was getting too high. "I love you Larkin," he kissed her hand before leaving to the lobby."She isn't in her best of moods and she is gonna say things she doesn't mean so I'd say let Kylie of you wanna see her. You know she won't yell at you, she will just cry." He sighed and sat down beside Jayne.

For some reason Jayne showing up at that time in the hospital to see Larkin really pushed Kylie's buttons. She knew Larkin probably wouldn't want to see her and she felt like Jayne was invading their privacy or something. "Sure, but now? Really? You had to come right now?"
