Rainheart flattened her ears. "Great..," she muttered. The kits didn't dare move, and she was afraid that they would watch her take the kits. She looked to her mate. "Distract them.. I'm gonna take the kits to a different den on Shadowclan territory.." She picked up a kit, glad she had 3, and quickly padded to a den across the border. She grabbed the other two, relaxing in her den as they fed from her milk. She stayed alert, perking her ears. Rainheart groomed the tiny kits, her eyes posed on the opening of the den.

Whitewhisker nodded towards his mate before dashing out the den. Letting out a loud yowl, he caught the attention of the Riverclan patrol who began chasing after him- being led further away from the den. The black tom headed towards the Shadowclan border where the area was covered by swamps, as he knew Riverclan probably wouldn't follow him into a swamp. With a satisfied grin after losing the patrol, Whitewhisker picked up Rainheart's scent trail and followed it to another den.

Rainheart watched as Whitewhisker appeared once again, and she smiled towards him. "Thank you.." She nuzzled him, the kits still feeding. She licked Nightkit, the runt, and she slowly moved her head to meet her mother's. Her tiny eyes were sealed shut, and she was useless against the big world, but Rainheart knew that the smallest kit would do great things one day. Next, she groomed Dawnkit, who continued to feed. Rainheart looked towards Whitewhisker once more. "I can't believe they're here.. In a few weeks, they'll open their eyes." She smiled.

Whitewhisker laid down next to Rainheart as she nursed the three tiny kits. "I never thought I'd get kits of my own.." he admitted to her. "Thank you." he purred, licking her muzzle. The tom looked out the den to find that the sun was beginning to set and he looked back at his mate. He couldn't leave her here overnight. He laid his head down with his body curled around Rainheart before falling asleep.
