Hi there! I'm Amber, and I've just joined. I'm an an extremely active writer, have been ever since I was three. I love writing stories, poems, etc. I am currently writing a series on Wattpad, and a book on there. I hope to one day get those officially published to the whole world. I am actually working on a series on my own, letting out snipits of it by publishing them to a local Imazine at my local library. I'm happy to help give writing tips, suggestions, and story ideas, or even working on a story with you together.

Hello, all, new member here: my request was just approved.

I'm an older college student entering the final semester of my current program. I take a lot of pride in my skills, and I'm always working on improving them. I've written in some capacity for most of my life, first primarily in role plays, then gradually writing pieces outside of those, and finally, as of the past few years or so, mostly writing for myself as I've found role plays harder to find. I would like to write more than I have been lately, starting with working on territory descriptions and such for my accounts on here. I would love to role play again, but I've grown more particular as I've gotten older and it seems my interests often don't align with a lot of others.

I'm also often asked, and happy to be, an editor for friends, and I'm willing to extend that courtesy to other writers, as well.

I did have one question regarding the writing contest, which I may be interested in joining: do we choose one of the three prompts and write based off of those? Or are we supposed to combine them?

As far as role plays, I suppose I'm a little bit boring, in a way, because my primary interest is in modern/realistic role plays and I tend to go for the "slice of life" types. Although, in my defense, my characters tend to be complicated and I have several who are criminals (often in organized crime), some who are otherwise involved in something not exactly legal, and several more who can keep things interesting in other ways. When I do look for role plays, I tend to do so with a character or two already in mind and see what I find that both sounds interesting and fits those characters.

I'm willing to branch out too, though. I've toyed with the idea of doing something post-apocalyptic and I've dabbled a bit in a spy role play. I was also doing a Jack the Ripper-inspired one, and I've done both historical and science fiction. I've had a few suspense/horror type ideas, as well. I'm open to ideas, though I've gotten away from strict fantasy and anthro stuff as I've gotten older.

What about yourself?

As for the contest: good to hear! I had the spark of an idea when I read the first prompt, but the other two...not so much. I wanted to be sure I wouldn't be violating the contest rules.

Well I do like to role play mainly tv shows and real life. I would like to start roleplaying again.

I am not going to be it has to be just one way. I would like to see your juices flow. So.... as long as it has one of the three things in your work I am good with it.
