"Mistake." He signed miserably, before tapping his throat and shaking his head. Answering her second question, he signed out E-L-I, the three letters infinitely more manageable in comparison to Ezekiel. Glancing at all the members of the party present, he considered each one it turn. Lorelei, the shortest of the lot, felt sad and forlorn. That wouldn't do. William. He felt cautious, but that was the overwhelming sensation present. It tasted like pepper in his mouth. Moon. She was...different. And apparently omnicient. And able to fly. Huh. Overall, her emotions weren't volatile, but certainly she was thinking more than worrying. Rean. So far he'd been quiet, standing next to Moon like a hawk. He really didn't know anyone here that well. He suspected something of all of them. 'stop being ridiculous. we're all experiments here. I didn't realize making myself so prone to this much emotional backlash would make me so paranojd. I can control this. Relax. Smile. They aren't going to eat you, probably. Unless someone's programmed themselves as a cannibal which I doubt' Then there was Giovanni. It wasn't that Eli disliked him. It was moreso that Giovanni was so...aggressive that Eli was simply responding recklessly as a response. But considering his actions and words so far, Eli reconsidered. Maybe more sensible than what was written on the box. Heck, he might even be a big softy underneath. The thought made him laugh to himself,as he considered Giovanni's torn up knuckles and fierce gaze, and remembering the forlorn feeling Lorelei had, Eli reached out for her arm again to send his amusement across the line, aware that to everyone else except perhaps Moon, he appeared to be laughing silently for no reason. Life like this might not be so bad once he got used to things. But note to self, never forget the voice input ever again. 0 players like this post! Like? |
