Agreed. I think some newer players might think mutations work somewhat like genetics, where cubs of mutated parents might still carry a sort of mutated ‘gene’ and it’s just not expressed (like if the mutation was recessive or something), so they think non-mutated cubs have a chance of passing a mutation down if bred to the right lion. Idk, that’s really the only way I’ve been able to rationalize it. Otherwise, I’m not entirely sure why people might do this.

Likewise, I’ve also seen people advertising that a non-mutated parent had a mutie cub (of a mutation that is only passed when a parent has it, not the random amps or other ones). I’ve seen so many trades on the TC where people kind of act like an NCL is somehow worth more than it really is, just bc it had a pie or primal cub. Idk if these people are just new and/or don’t know how mutations work in the game, or if they’re simply trying to scam newer players and make more profit than they should off a normal NCL.

NAH FR IT'S SO WEIRD AND ANNOYING. Sometimes they do it because the cub isn't old enough to be traded since it's still nursing, but then they forget and the cub gets weaned so it's just an NCL
I do wish that LD had more realistic genetics and carriers and recessive traits and all that because I'm weird and I find that crap fun.


Stacked rosettes are ugly. One is fine, sometimes two, but quad and penta rosettes are really not fun. They make me dizzy LOL- People complain about brawl, but stacked rosettes make almost the exact same pattern, and people don't complain. The only thing that's different is the rarity, so that automatically makes it special.

Alright, my hot take;

I kind of really dont like the may event. I mean you've got the groupies and nice items, cool and all!

But the event itself, not it for me. I personally don't find that much enjoyment in battling lions 24/7 for the event, and it's gotten quite boring for me personally, though it may just be because im used to it.

This event is my least favorite so far, the storyline has so much potential and yet there's hardly anything to do, especially waiting between the start of the month and the end. I'm glad they started to add more stuff though like the cultists

I think the thing with mutation genes is coming from Wolvden, where that IS a thing, so a lot of these newbies may be from that game first.

People on TC really need to learn how to find a median value for items. I'm so endlessly tired of offering a High value MOD and getting "lowest on TC is (40-50) GBs."

I could list it for 10gbs, that doesn't mean that's it's worth. Find. The. Middle.

Taking into account often how much real world money is spent to get a MOD(excluding the event mods and ticked), "Lowest is x" is fucking insulting.

I hate the tc because of it.

The Melanism mutation is useless, it basically changes your lion's pretty image to a noctis fodder. It would work better simillar to Wolvden's: so dark you can barely see the lineart.
