WELCOME TO TALONS! WE ARE NOW OPEN! OUT OF BETA AND OPEN TO RP!  Great arial wars painted the skies with blood before the giant condor, Euthera, united them under the banner of a great nation. She is strict and enforces every detail in the laws though she knows whats best. Or does she? Will you rebel against your queen? Or will you remain loyal to the Aither Nation? The provinces rose from the ruin of the war, an enormous canyon separates the area from a desert to the west, a high mountainous region to the north, the south is home to lush rainforests and the east is open plains. The canyon has been carved out over the years in honeycomb like structures that make for birds hollows, with shops being manned on the ground. The northern redwood trees only house the royal or rich, and to poor live in disorganized tree hollows in an area of the canyon dubbed "the fens". (ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง Fight This rp involves many features that include me being constantly active. So their are updates reguarly! Dont worry about pm'ing me. Watching Dorian leave she turned to the queen. "I am sorry that I promoted him your highness." She said as she bowed. "I did trust me many birds and am usually here alone, flying, or hunting due to my feathers and eyes. Many believe that I am odd." Euthera only smiled, "no, no. Dorians just like that. But trust me, hes not after your heart. Only the males call him a heartbreaker, if you know what i mean." she looked in Dorians derection, "He must be returning to the redwoods. You, were do you reside? Or are you not from here?" Looking down to avert here eyes she says "I do not reside in the redwood milady. I am not wealthy nor do I really have a home. I reside wherever is safest at night. Today it was here.:" with see eyes she looked over the forest watching birds fly around. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Euthera's eyes darted repeatedly to another sight, though she focused on the owl, "Well... why dont you find an empty tree in the fens? or..." she lowered her head, almost in shame of asking, "Join the arena fights? Its not garenteed, but you look like someone who could win a living off it. I mean, Dorian did it. Pondering the ideas she thought ' I like to stay in multiple places but maybe joining the arena may not be so bad. I do have experience in fighting. Euthera stared out at the arena, blood staining the ground around Dorian, who still lay defeated on the ground. Birds began leaving the arena, talking to eachother in suspicion. After the arena was empty, she glided down next to him. She shighed, realizing the broken wing, "Well... it seems your streaks been ended.". Dorian looked up at her, not bothering to try to get up, "W...w-what a glorious victory that would've been...". Euthera questioned for a moment, 'why did she leave? Its not like this hasn't happened before. It's the entire point of the arena.' No time for questions. She flew over the canyon, toward the redwoods, Dorian limp in her talons. Mentions- Nyx A peregrine swooped through the forest, following the blood trail. He landed, latching onto the side of the hallow, knocking a talon against it, "Hello? Nyx correct? The arena winner? You never took the rewards." He said, dropping down a golden medallion and one hundred coins. "Plus, don't you need medical attention?" He tilted his head. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The peregrine shrugged, "Want you? Oh I get it. First time inducing a major injury? Its pretty much what they ask for in the arena, don't blame yourself. The peregrine threw a wing infront of his face before flying away, back toward the canyon without questioning this history. Dorian was alone in his redwood, wing fastened to his body with sticks and vine cuttings. Feeling dilousional, he used his beak to climb the walls up to an enormous hollow. He sat in the corner, head on the floor. He talked to himself, "Damn it all, I lost to an outsider. Wake up Pavuus, that couldnt have worked forever..." He said, shifting his talons. Later, he followed a dried blood trail to where it stopped at the arena wall. He looked out, able to just barely see the speck of white, he smiled, "See you later, quaris." 0 players like this post! Loxias' wings flared out are the shape of the clouds shifted into forms he couldn't identify. He ignored the chattering birds and swooped up to find a higher place to rest on. He rolled his eyes at Dorian,"F*ckin' peacock." He muttered.
